Jude Clayton

Jude was born in the prison, his mother being a fugitive there for many years died of starvation when he was 12. Never knowing why his mother was held captive, he now adopts her cell.

Jude is reserved and is socially uncomfortable. He is illiterate but is tri-lingual in both his mothers home tongues and in this sand planets tongue. Often to avoid talking to people in general Jude will speak/pray to his mother in their native tongues. He is very observant of his surroundings and organizes very carefully his every move. His one true wish is to join his mother, wherever she is. 

Jude is himself unaware of any physical or powerful difference between normal people and himself.
