Synopsis
The truths of the world cannot hide from me.

Description
Landarin is a twenty nine year old at six foot one with medium length black hair. Always wearing a hat and a long black cloak with red stitching his day to day attire is usually always dark. Most of his wardrobe consists of browns and blacks and his outfits are always more functional than fashionable. His boots are light but thick and are stained from long journeys without being washed. The edges of his cloak are slightly born down as well as most of his clothes being extremely dirty. The move from Avalon to Camelot didn't help either. He could pass as a refugee even with his clothes if it wasn't for the two revolvers hanging from his hips.

Personality
Landarin isn't very shy but he also doesn't like to talk randomly and unjustified. He chooses his words carefully and his friends with even greater care. His love of lore caused him to travel but the danger of the activity caused him to pick up arms. Years of treasure hunting, temple diving and just random exploring have caused his skills in art of guns to grow rapidly. He loves learning about history and just anything he can learn about. Despite his look hes very intelligent because of his personality. He doesn't mind technology but holds it in contempt because it has mostly pushed magic out of the way. He is a livid student of the arcane arts finding it both interesting and practical.

Equipment / Abilities
A complete Gun slinger at heart Landarin is of above average skill with his revolvers. Exploration is a dangerous business and one has to be ready for anything these days. Landarin also has some magic under his belt but doesn't use it very often because it tires him quicker than normal combat and he likes to keep it secret until he really needs it. He also carries a short sword under his cloak just in case. He mostly uses magic for maintenance and repair of his weapons although he's not very skilled in gunsmithing.

History
Born in America to a Gunslinger mother and a part Indian father, Landarin knew adventure from an early age as he travelled with his parents around the vast country, collecting stories, souvenirs and making their mark on the world wherever they went. It was Landarin's father who taught him how to read, write, saddle a horse and almost everything else, but it was his mother who taught him about survival and handling guns. Being a hero of the frontier, Landarin's mother travelled often with her family in tow, so they never settled down anywhere for long. This formed Landarin's fundamental nature as a wanderer, ever curious, thirsty for knowledge and eager for adventure.

Landarin first learned about his ability to use magic at the age of nine, when he noticed that he could see things that others, including his parents, couldn't. The magic in his blood had come from his father's side, who was descended from a shaman, but the ability to use it had evidently skipped a generation. Landarin's father could not use magic like his son, but he knew his ancestry well enough to answer Landarin's many questions after the discovery.

Later, Landarin would seek lessons from any shaman he encountered whilst travelling with his parents, but few were ever encountered and none were willing to teach except for one who was an expert healer. The shaman travelled with the Ellenmeyer family for years, assissting them with his skills and knowledge, and teaching Landarin much about magic, but he eventually parted ways to return to his home.

Eventually, Landarin's parents settled down as well and became ranchers, but Landarin never stopped travelling and at the age of nineteen, he was well able to survive on his own. Following in his mother's footsteps, he wandered the frontier, helping people, befriending Indians, working on his mastery of magic, hunting bandits and, for a short time, was hunted himself.

Later at the age of twenty-three, he met travellers from Avalon and learned about their land as well as their ruler, the witch queen, Morgana. Excited by the prospect of adventuring in distant lands, Landarin returned to his parents to tell them about Avalon and hoped that they would travel with him, away from their now humdrum lives which they, by Landarin's thinking, had only settled into because there was no more for them to do in America. Landarin's father refused, arguing that he couldn't simply abandon his business, though the mother agreed, just to watch over her son if for no other reason.

Upon reaching Avalon, Landarin bought a new home and then immediately sought to learn magic from the witch queen, but was flatly refused. He persisted for as long as he could, demonstrating his own level of mastery and telling of his experiences, but after finally provoking the queen's terrible anger, they parted on bad terms and Landarin simply decided to travel around Avalon, learning whatever he could from the stranger and darker places on the island. If the witch queen was unwilling to teach, he would learn on his own.

After six years of exploration, he discovered bits and pieces of Avalon's mysterious past that was mostly unknown, even to its inhabitants. One piece of information gathered from studying an ancient artefact was especially disturbing. Afraid of Morgana's reaction should she ever discover what he had in his possession, Landarin made a plan with his mother to relocate to Camelot with everything he had found on Avalon. There wasn't much left on the island to explore anyway.

After concealing his house with powerful protection magic, Landarin moved to Camelot to secure a new home while his mother stayed in Avalon to keep his hoard of treasure and artefacts safe. By the time Landarin arrived in Camelot, the war in Avalon had begun.

Extra
Landarin plans to find a home in Camelot. His house back in Avalon is still safe and sound but it's unsuitable for his current "condition." He hopes that he can find a place soon so he can get back to exploration and find a nn his attention.ew lead to gai
