Personality
Personality: Bao-Zhi is brave, compassionate and fierce. He insights the most true of emotions out of most he meets- and by all means uses their passion as his own stepping stones. While not the alpha male by any means- he finds himself in a leadership position more often than naught and commands the love of his peers with ease. One finds his affluence to lead very comforting- as he will take control of any situation given to him, but in the end give the rightful honor to those above him. It has gotten Bao-Zhi quite far in his life- but unfortunately not far enough.

Ling on the other hand is far more dedicated than Bao-Zhi. While he is quick to loaf off responsibility and fame she snatches it up like fireflies in the night. She is both respected and honored for her gender and age, but at the same time shadowed by the subservient nature of her brother. Many a time she is seen throwing a shoe at the nere-do-well boy in hopes of getting him to use common sense for once instead of whatever pittance remains in his heart. She would easily take the honor that should be his- and that is why she has gotten into this mess in the first place.

Likes:
Cute boys
Adventure
Honor
Bravery

Dislikes:
Petty brown nosing
Power hungry oafs

Equipment / Abilities
Clothing Style: At School: The usual male student garb all the time and almost tightly so. There is also a hate involved and a popped collar so that little flesh is obvious at any time. One might have a hard time seeing Bao-Zhi's hands as they stay in 'his' pockets at all times. Out of School: About the same as the school uniform- countless layers, a hat, and loose fitting clothes. If Bao-Zhi was ever Ling then it might be summer dresses, cute hair bows, heels, and the most glamorous of accesories. But she only ever does this if she doesn't think she'll get caught.
General Clique: Loner
Hobbies: Fashion, Piano playing, most Korean dramas, romance novels, and apparently playing a boy.
Interests: Someone who is brave and doesn't at all fear being who they truly are.

History

Ling and Bao-Zhi are twins. Their birth was under interesting circumstances but their time of growth was normal for any child of their heritage and class. They were taught all the traditional aspects of being Chinese children- born and raise- but found themselves most of the time at odds with the societal standards that were set upon them. Ling was mannish for all her feminine boasting she couldn't stand it when a woman played coy and docile. Bao-Zhi on the other hand was easy to bow over to his superiors and not at all claim the birthright that was theirs. While the Dao family was far from prestigious they were also far from being petty common-folk. With the right amount of work and ire either one of the twins could rise up through the ranks and achieve greatness- and due to Bao-Zhi being the eldest male in the house he had the bigger chance.

Of course the poor boy squandered the chance almost too quickly.

He had already be accepted into Velubian Academy when he disappeared- his goodbye note not really stating where he had run off too just that he had fled their luxurious homestead for 'far more prosperous grounds'. Yet the Dao family couldn't bare to be shamed by such a disgrace- a family rival's son also having been sent there they couldn't not should their face.
So they looked towards Ling- a spiting female image of their son- and next thing she knew she had no hair, was garbed in male clothing and on the next flight to the Academy alone- all to protect her brother's honor. Of course if Ling revealed herself she would shame her family, but at the same time if she continued to remain Bao-Zhi where would her own legacy go?

Currently she remains hidden as her brother- finding no reason to otherwise prove herself even if she is rather outspoken at times.
