Lucille is a shy and quiet being.Sometimes, she's too quiet and comes off as uncaring, but this is due to two reasons: 1) The hybrid doesn't trust humans after what they did to her (will explain later), and 2) Lucille is a slight selective mute.
Although she is terribly timid, Lucille can have bursts of bravery if people she trust (very few, if any) are in danger.

Animal Setbacks: Needs to sleep for at least 9-10 hours, and no less. Cannot eat much -- becomes horribly ill.

Childhood: Lucille, as she likes to be called, was born as "Tanya Enchwin" to a Russian mother (Svetlana Trosvinsky) and an American father (Evan Enchwin) in New York, USA. Their life was very average at the time: Evan had a good job with medium-high pay while Svetlana was still looking after Tanya/Lucille. When Tanya/Lucille because 10 years old, and started showing a lot of responsibility around the house and in public, her mother decided to get a nice job as a tailor. Their net income was raised considerably as Svetlana gained loyal customers. They started doing very nicely and made sure to buy a few niceties.
However, when Tanya/Lucille was 11 years old, a group of scientists had kidnapped her while she was walking to a friend's house. Lana and Evan were devastated and tried putting out missing child alerts, but it was all done to now avail.
Late Childhood-Early teenage years:
When Tanya/Lucille was taken by the scientists, she screamed and kicked and fought back against the men. They tried not to be ruthless with her, but the circumstances required that she be anesthetized. Unfortunately, she continued to fight back as they injected the drug into her, making the needle go too deep and causing her unbearable amount of pain and blood loss. It was after than incident that she could no longer speak freely.
Taking a plane and a car ride at the end, the scientists and the girl traveled to the mountains in Japan where the laboratory was located. The girl couldn't speak anymore, and refused to look them in the eye, so the men named her "Lucille".
After a few weeks of preparation, Lucille was taken into surgery. It lasted almost 76 hours -- each one of her cells had to be merged with the DNA of a red fox in order to everything to be successful.
After about two months, Lucille grew a big, fluffy tail and ears.
At this point, the scientists were trying to train her newfound abilities (enhanced senses, speed). Her purpose was to become a skilled navigator and fighter, perhaps even an assassin.
Her Escape:
Lucille, knowing that she didn't belong in a wretched place like that, escaped one day and left an anonymous tip at the police station in the nearby town about the scientists illegal laboratory. It wasn't surprising to see later on that all the men had been captured and sentenced to long terms in jail.
Present:
Lucille now wishes to go back to America and find her parents. It would be terribly difficult, and she probably would be tested on again if she went out in the open too much, but it would be worth it.
For the time being, Lucille walks along the streets of Japan at night, trying to live by eating berries in the forests and stealing food/clothing from shops and other people.
