Name: Grimoire Umbra
Abilities: Umbra is the Grimoire of illusion and as its name suggests, can create illusions of any kind. Some of these illusions are
range from ones of happiness to twisted delusions of a horrific nature. The illusions effect natural senses, causing one to be able to feel, see, taste, smell, and hear the illusion as if it was real. Yulia can use this to her advantage by distracting the enemy long enough to kill them, or breaking their mind with horrendous images.
The disadvantages to this are that the one who are to be effected by the illusion must make eye contact with Yulia. She also suffers from illusions herself, although they are not of the same as the ones she casts herself. Umbra will slowly eat away at Yulia's sanity until she goes into an unending state of Dementia. It's not a gradual effect but the more she uses Umbra, The more it will happen.
Skills:Secret Keeper: Yulia can keep any secret she wishes, even if she is to be tortured. She is under the delusion that she will be saved by the one she loves
Sabotage: Yulia has ample knowledge in sabotage and can ruin anything, be it mental or physical. She uses this often to manipulate the situation in her favor
Manipulator: Yulia's personality allows her to manipulate anyone and anything. She can cause people to feel things they wouldn't expect and cause them to do things they would never do.
Yulia never knew who she really was. She was found four years ago near
the edge of Temporus city by a couple out on a picnic. She was bloodied
and wounded with no knowledge of who she was or where she was from. The
couple took her to the hospital where she was treated, but she never
recovered from her amnesia. Since nobody came to claim her, The couple
that found her took pity and allowed her to stay with them. The couple
had gone through several miscarriages and had given up on giving birth
all together. While it was unusual to take in a child as young as Yulia,
things seemed to go well. Little did they now just how deeply troubled
Yulia really was.
Yulia appeared to have a serious mental disorder or two. She suffered
from dementia, often seeing things that nobody else did and interacting
with them. This came as a disturbance for both of her adoptive parents
but they managed to get over it. It didn't seem really bad to be honest,
since all she did was talk to imaginary friends. Little did they know,
Yulia's most powerful delusion wasn't innocent or happy. Inside Yulia's
mind, a different personality slept. When it awoke, it called itself
Shiki and spoke often with Yulia. The girl took comfort in this new
friend that seemed to know her so well.
Shiki often spoke strange ideas into Yulia's head. Some were comforting,
while others were strange. The one thing that was most important
though, was that they influenced Yulia's actions every day. She would do
as Shiki said like a loyal puppy, depending on this inner being. Soon,
it was clear that Shiki was in more control than Yulia was. Her
personality began to change dramatically. She always had a single
objective in mind and anyone that stood in her way was treated
violently. This grew as the years went by, and her parents were none the
wiser.
One day, as Yulia conversed with Shiki, the imaginary friend brought up
something that caused Yulia much distress. It was a feeling that Yulia
had felt for so long in her heart. Yulia felt a longing for something to
fill her heart. It was something locked away deep in her memories.
Knowing this, Shiki told Yulia what it was. Yulia was in love with
someone. Someone that her current self didn't even know. Shiki pushed
Yulia to find out who this person was. It became the girls one goal and
she obsessed over and over it. It wasn't long before even her parents
felt something was wrong with their daughter.
The Savents attempted to try and make Yulia stop with her obsession,
This would be the last mistake they ever made. Yulia saw these people
she had once called her parents as threats. They were obstacles in
finding her love. So, when the two slept, she took a hatchet and
brutally murdered both of them. Her father as he slept and her mother
when she had awoken. Afterwards, she hid the bodies and sold many of the
families assets in order to keep the house. She continued on her life
as normal, searching for her unknown lover. It wasn't until another
voice, by the name of Deus Temporis, spoke to her in her mind.
Yulia had been invited into the war for the position of God. Shiki
pushed for Yulia, who was unconcerned about it, to join. It was only
when Deus told Yulia that the one she sought was in the war that she
decided to join. She now waits for the war to begin, ready to carve a
path of blood to find her happy ending with the one she loves.
Meanwhile, Shiki resides in her mind, a smile of satisfaction on her
face as she awaits the war to begin. Two people reside in one body, and
one of them will become a god.
