Wilev is what many would call your above average man. Every about his features is exaggerated. His facial structure is sharp, with no rounded edges. He appears much older than his twenty-seven years, lines etched deeply into his leathery face. He has very dark brown, almost black hair that falls down to just below his shoulders. It normally worn down, held back with a simple bandanna. His eyes are a dark brown, matching his already dark features, and his skin is olive in tone beneath the deep tan. Wilev keeps his calloused hands well groomed, his fingernails kept clipped very short. His body is very lean and built. He has the body of a wilderness warrior. Built, but not overly strong.
He has his fair share of scars- most caused by the creatures of the wild. Ranging from the attack from a pack of Za, to the puncture holes of an Orkin. The Za scratches look far worse than they actually were. Mainly because they did get infected and bumped up. Even to this day. Those remain covered underneath his clothing. His right ear also has a small split in the lobe where it looks like an earring was pulled out from it.
Wilev generally wears simple clothing. A pair of simple leather pants and a tunic along with a thick wool cloak. His shoes are odd- almost like a pair of slippers made from soft hide and stitched with sinew. His armor is made from leather and dragon scales- quite expensive really- but handmade. The workmanship on his armor is amazing, bordering on mastery. It is obvious that a lot of effort went into crafting it.
Personality

Being born under the sign of Kaff, Wilev is very balanced. He is never really too angry, too upset, or even too hungry. He is always just in the middle. He does not talk very often, preferring to remain to strong silent type. His body works together with him to keep his perfectly balanced persona in tack. While he seems like a loner, he actually enjoys the company of others. He loves listening to stories and people talking. Though he isn't one to spread them, he loves getting all the juicy gossip and rumors when he is in town.
He is generous to a fault- he would give away the clothes on his back if someone asked him for them. To him, it doesn't matter if it is a stranger or a close friend, he treats everyone the same, rarely judging anyone by their words or their actions. He tries to place himself in their position to understand their point of view. Despite this, he has a strong sense of justice. he hates to see people wronged by another and will go out of his way to resolve differences between others.
He takes great pride in anything he creates- be it art, armor or battle. He strives to make beautiful things, but more importantly he strives to make things of high quality and purpose.

- Binding Vines - This ability creates vines that move and capture opponents within them the vines can constrict similar to the action of a snake.
- Plant Growth - This is the ability to make plants grow at a moments notice. The plants can be grown from seed or can be existing plants.
- Wooden Doors - This is the ability to create doorways between any two wooden things. You open a doorway in one piece of wood and come out of another piece of wood. The wood can be living or dead.
- Speak with Plants - The ability to communicate with flora of all kinds.
- Camouflage - This is the ability to literally take on the appearance of the surrounding environment.

- Gets motion sick- he cannot stand to be on the sea or closed carriages.
- Has a terrible sense of humor... often doesn't get jokes and the jokes he make always fall flat or are just dumb.

History
Early Life High Points
Wilev was born to Velis Naomi Sue. She was unmarried when he was born, but it is known that his father was Logan Bruun Calder. Not long after he was born, his mother married another man whom Wilev came to see as his father- a soldier by the name of Sir Traskin Manny Gavan. Traskin took his mother's family name since she already had a child. He was honored to be marrying into a family. He had been married before, but his wife died young when a fever carried her off. The pair had four children together, though one died before he saw his first year when he got the wet lung. Because Traskin was a soldier and a knight, the family moved around often before finally settling in Abernathy.
Knighthood and Current Life
Wilev joined the Gold Star Navy as he had always planned. While Traskin wanted him to join the army as he had, he was pleased that the boy wanted to go into the military, no matter which branch he served in. Wilev quickly learned that he could not hack being in the Navy- he got seasick. So seasick that he could not move, eat or function on board a boat. So seasick that he would choose teleportation over a sea voyage. Disappointed, he left the Navy and joined the Red Dawn Militia.
He became a trusted scout in the militia, able to track anything through even the most difficult circumstances. He was quickly promoted to the head scout of the militia. It was in this position that he came to the attention of the King. Wilev was tasked with tracking a thief into Gildensol- though not apprehending him. he tracked the thief over the entire country and returned to the King with the news. Impressed with his ability, he Knighted Wilev- bestowing upon him the same title as the man he called father. He invited him to join his personal Watch and act as the prime Scout of Arascon. honored, Wilev accepted the position and thrived.
Holy Weapon
Wilev lucked into the Cordless Bow. Or at least that is how he sees it. He was off on a scouting mission in the woods along the border. He was tracking a small covert band of Gildese soldiers through the woods on the Arasconian side of the border. He tracked them into the ruins of a small border town- long abandoned and overgrown by the woods. The soldiers all went into one of the few (mostly) standing structures and did not come out for days. Wilev knew they had not come out of the structure, so he finally went inside. He found that the building was really a tower burrowed into the ground. He tracked the soldiers down through the inverted tower.
He found them all dead, though he could not find the cause of their death. It looked to him like they simply keeled over. not wanting to stick around to find out what killed them, he hurried upward to leave the tower. Unfortunately, one of the staircases he chose to use was rotted and he fell clean through it. Beneath the staircase, he found a hidden room. In this room was The Cordless Bow. At first, he thought it was just an old bow, but being a man of the woods, he knew quality when he saw it. Intending to have the bow restrung, he picked it up. The moment he touched the bow- he knew what he had. The Holy Aura of it imbued him with the abilities within. He is thankful he no longer has to travel by sea and can simply pass through wood.
