A seaside city which happens to have an unusually high number of non human residents, often mythical creatures. of course, one rule is set in stone, even if it's an unspoken one: Non humans are not to be seen during the day, unless they can hide their appearance to blend in. failure to adhere to the rule generally means exile, as crude and old fashioned as it sounds.
This of course means that most non human businesses are run at night, and the nightlife in Laguna Bay is just as lively as the daytime...but in ways, more dangerous.......
If you're reading this helpful notice then you must be a new resident in our fine city, and the welcome wagon's been by already, leaving you a series of helpful little guides and a little gift basket to enable you to adjust to the rather unique way our fine city works.
If you're a human, you should be fine to go about your daily life, you know, go to work, shop, socialize and such, and you only need one warning:
Do not go out at night unaccompanied.
Certain residents are...nocturnal, and might not take to kindly to your presence, so if you must go out, go with a friend, or better yet, seek out a Night Shepard to ensure your night out goes smoothly. There is a number enclosed (XXX-XXX-XXX) should you wish to hire a Night Shepard.
If you happen to be a non human Resident, please refer to the pamphlet titled "Adjusting to Nocturnal life in Laguna" and do not under any circumstances do the following:
-Come out during the day without appropriate disguise measures (Unless sunlight is required for survival, please contact us on the number listed (XXX-XXX-XXX) and we will walk you through getting a daytime permit)
-Kill fellow residents for food (There are a plethora of blood based restaurants and many nocturnal businesses will cater to carnivorous needs)
-Defy the City Council.
Following these rules, as well as following the guide pamphlets provided should allow you to seamlessly intergrate without any issues, leagal or otherwise.
