I decided that I will draw each and every one of my roleplay chracters on this site. Since the character pool is still being messed up, I'll bring to you sketches of hopefully-to-be characters.

Some sort of thief/assassin/something. Her clothes are what kind of they have in avatar forum Ernya (originally ment to play her in there but since WTF RPG excists...)

I tend to kill my drawings when I ink so that's why I prefer scanning sketches too...

Ahh, just keep drawing regularly and you could in a matter of year. I've always drawn, but I'm usually lazy with it and might skip drawing for months if I don't feel inspirated. Trying to learn out of that...

I highly encourage you to keep posting pictures of your work. xD I like seeing the work of others and drawing frequently improves your skills (and I like the direction your style is going). x3 I need to draw daily. D: I'm artistically out of shape and flabby. :B

I started just recently posting my sketches in my tumblr account and I hope it motivates me to keep drawing regularly.
I have deviantART too but I'm currently on hiatus from there.
Luckily this is one of the rare things where practicing is a lot of fun.

I got a friend who's really good at drawing manga. Perhaps I can learn from him?
Practicing from example is always a good way to learn. ^^
I also do manga styled pictures but I have lately been more fond of practicing this realism of sorts.

Learning to draw can be done as long as the person trying doesn't give up and puts time and true effort into the attempt. :3 A lot of people give up saying they "can't draw" because they tried a few times and didn't finish something they were happy with at the end of it. But it's mostly just a matter of teaching yourself hand-eye coordination and teaching yourself "how to see" things. So, learning from your friend would help a lot, but only if you are patient with yourself as well. :3 Learning how to draw real things (people and objects, for example) will help you a lot more than learning to draw anime/manga style first. :3 But everyone starts somewhere and as long as you start, that is the good thing. :3
I started a "group sketchbook" online group to try encourage myself and friends (and friend of friends) to draw every day, but unfortunately, we're all lazy bums and aren't very regular about it yet. xD Perhaps it will pick up after the convention season is over. :3

I really love your sketchy style too, Gess! Probably because I draw in a sketchy style too and get REALLY MIFFED when people tell me to stop drawing that way *shakes fist*. So I like to encourage others to be loose and sketchy. As long as you refine it in the end and it's not over cluttered, sketchiness is great.
So keep it up and post more art so that I may stalk you, mmmyes.

I'm working on a renovation for my site. It'll have new layout but more importantly Finnish and English side to it so I can start linking people in there. They'll have a bit different content but in the core it's going to be art, RP stuff and such for both languages. I'm excited but the layout has given me some difficult times so far, heh.
