Rosethorn was in a state of shock as she watched the others in her group panic. This was supposed to be a safe, pleasurable hiking trip but now their guide lay only a few feet from them with a knife buried deep in his chest. Rose shifted uncomfortably, it is a good thing that no one knows that she keeps daggers on her presence at all times; someone might suspect her...

Shaking her head, Rose looked up at the sky. The clouds which had so pleasantly given them shade just hours before had now started to boil... It would not belong before the storm hit, and Rose wanted to be long-gone by that time.

Rose turned to look at the others in her group. She knew that she would have to make a quick judgment call on who she would want watching her back once the rain started. Knowing that one of these strangers was capable of murder had Rose slightly uneasy. Maybe she could afford to watch everyone interact a little bit more before choosing who she wanted to travel with...

Shizen watched as the once calm group of people had started to panic as the guide collapsed.
"Its just a dead body." Akulen said.
"Don't say it like that." Shizen giggled in a sadistic way. She walked up to the body and pulled the knife out of the chest. She observed the knife turning it in her hand and threw it a good several feet. She dusted off her hands.
"Not usable huh?" he asked. She gave a small simplistic nod. She walked up to a girl who stood there in shocked and put her hand on her shoulder.
"Letting those daggers poke out might make you look guilty." he said, letting himself show.
"She isn't the one who did it though. It was one of the other ones standing there. I can already tell you its most likely a male." she said reassuring Akulen and the girl. She walked around a little and observed the rest of the group to see which one was worth taking with them.
