The Dresden Files is a series of books by Jim Butcher. The main character Harry Dresden is a wizard in a world where the norms don't believe in magic, yet he advertises in the yellow pages as a wizard for hire. Quite amusing and rather long running series of books.
Oooh...that actually sounds pretty cool.
If anyone's interested:

The game just went up for pre-purchase, not really of interest to anyone but hardcore fans since there's still no release date, but myself and my fellow crazies will be playing the beta together (as it gives you beta weekend event access)--we're planning on playing Twin Mesmers, PCs who look the same and make clones of each other. And shoot off pistols and wave claymores around. Will be very cool to do that in pvp.
Howdy all, I'm new here, to this group and the website. I just read the overview and a bit of everything else, and I like what I see so where do I start?
As much as I'd like to tell you this game is still active - it was closed down long ago.
And I hope you have not a single still moment.
Well at least it looked like it had a good run. I just made my first roleplay group and I'm looking forward to seeing how things go on this site.
