It would be really nice if we were able to "align" images in posts. I know standard BBCode can't do this, but it would be really spiffy if we could embed an image within text. It would be nice for the narrator of a story to be able to put an image off to the right or left of the text to add some flavor.
Maybe just add an html code option for posting?
Oooh, I like the sound of this. It is a nice ascetic element.
I see this being very useful.
And I hope you have not a single still moment.
you mean giving the site [imgright]img url[/imgright] & [imgleft]img url[/imgleft] tags? That is the BBC way of putting an img to the left or right of the post and the text will align next to it.
Huge agreement, especially as a GM. Also, please for the love of god let us use Justify alignments for our text. It's so ugly otherwise. xD
Yes, I do mean having a IMGRIGHT and IMG LEFT command. It would just be a nice little feature- nothing important or pressing, just spiffy.
I'm going to assume there is a reason why we don't have it. Mene used to have them, but they were taken away. I'm not 100% sure why, but I believe it had something to do with keeping its users safe (idk if it's hackable or something, but there was a pretty valid reason as to why they were removed). But I totally agree, they would be nice. XD
You can have a [right] and [left] tag, but [imgleft] is an issue. You'd need to embed the img tag within the left/right tag.
Hmm... I've tried using the alignment tags on images (left/right tags) and those don't work to justify images and get text to wrap around them.
Yeah. :x The LEFT and RIGHT don't do the text wrap, which is what I really want. But Insomniac pointed to a security flaw with IMGLEFT and IMGRIGHT and that's why we can't have nice things. :c
Trust me, I am as sadface over it as you guys are. :c (And unfortunately don't know enough about coding to know how it can be hackable, I just had it explained with an example that it can be.)

What code base is the forum here? There may be alternatives to the exploitable imgright and imgleft. Not sure. If you have vBulletin 3.0 or higher, there is the imgalign code snippet that should be alright (without exploit that is). But I am not 100% on this- it is what I used to use when I ran my sad little forum on my webpage.

I'd have to look into it. If you know of a code that's secure, then I can certainly ask Insomniac about whether we can have it.

Hooray! It would be an awesome addition if you guys could swing it. I shall shower you with laurels and praise.
I thought of another feature that would be awesome... but should also be fairly low priority.
I would love to be able to arrange the "My Roleplays" tab. Basically, I would like to be able to move around where things are on the page. If that tab was customizable for people, it would be spiffy. (I know I would prefer to see the "Recent Activity Posts" up top instead of "Recent Character Updates".) It would also be awesome if there was a way to separate out the updates to see individual games. I know you can see updates on the Subscription page...but I always forget about it.
Hahahahahaaha makes sense, right? xD
And I hope you have not a single still moment.
Removed the spam from your quote so they wouldn't have the satisfaction of having even one of their links stay active on our site.
No use talking to a spambot. They're not here to chat.
