I was just wondering if anyone would be up for a modern rp with gods, demons and the like. They've been here all along even though people don't really believe in them anymore and now they're just wandering- doing whatever they want while we destroy ourselves.
or something like that. Ideas? Anyone interested?

Definitely. Figured there'd be all sorts of gods/mythical creatures walking around the world while the people are completely oblivious.
Need a better plot though, but hey- that's why the call it brainstorming and interest gathering
Definitely sounds fun. One of my favorite video games is based off the idea of good vs evil. But the concept of who's good and who's evil is really twisted. Demons attack Earth, but it is later found out that Angels are attacking Earth, too. You have to pick which side you want to fight for - demons or angels - and then you go about battling whichever kind you don't side with.
It's a really rough description of the game, but it was really cool. I think the part I liked best was the ability to pick my side and determine if angels were good guys or bad guys. It's always interesting seeing the celestial beings taking on the role of the baddie.
Sounds really cool. Perhaps something of that nature in this rp? It's unclear who's good and who's bad and you get to determine for yourself what your character is.

Hm, how about... the apocalypse is getting nearer and in order for mankind to survive these old, old gods/demons etc have to work together to prevent it? Some don't want to save mankind, others do.

I'm trying to figure out how these "people" will know that Judgement day/The Apocalypse are drawing near,
maybe because of a sign? Like... a night where the sun doesn't set but shines as brightly as midday or something.

Hm.. initial location... not quite sure what to put there since I bet most will be starting from different locations all over the world.
Or maybe not.
How about Earth as the initial location? Then you can have hell, heaven, USA, China etc. as sub locations. Or perhaps have Hell and Heaven as separate locations but Earth as the initial one... if that works.
