I'm actually setting up two versions of the same RP.
One is for Heroes only
and the other? *drumroll* For Villains of course!
I have some starting ideas myself but does anyone out there have their own ideas for crisis events for either RP?
For example: Hostage situations, mudslides, alien invasions, superheroes raiding your warehouse stash... etc.
I'm planning on running these RPs by letting players loose to do as they please and then introducing event alerts to keep the plot moving. So throw your ideas at me!
(Or better yet, join my game! Haha)
Earthquake! >3
Hurricane Irene! >3
Uhhh... meteor?
T_T I cannot believe I just listed natural disasters. Though, I suppose they could trigger other events. Like the meteor could collide into a toxic waste plant, which causes a huge leak! Maybe the hurricane has caused a blackout at the prison? The earthquake could have... destroyed a damn that would flood a place the size of the state of Rhode Island?

._________. My ideas are so lame. D:
I agree! I feel sorry for everyone that was impacted by both events. But, in the grand scheme of roleplays, natural disasters do play important roles. Though they are less serious in this realm, the effects are still real. Characters should be effected and suffer in a similar manner to real-life behaviors and tendencies.
I swear, I'll think of something original...
SKYNET TAKING OVER THE WORLD!... nope, I lied. No originality.
OH SNAP! I just heard a chemical spill on our speaker. It seems like a frequent thing. There is also the occasional man at nine o'clock in the morning squiring hot sauce in his eye. But that seems a little too petty for a hero/villain roleplay.
