A Problem With Places

So one of my games, The Interdimensional School of Knowledge currently has 3 pages of places and for some reason nobody seems able to access the second or third page, including myself. Anytime I click on any link that would lead to the 2nd or 3rd page of place listings it just reloads the first page. While you can still post to the places on those pages through selecting them in the posting section, you can't go straight to the place itself.

Help?

That's a bit odd. It's a problem we had a month or two ago that was fixed. It may be a problem with the server switch, so I'll report this!

Wells it turns out that this same problem has popped up elsewhere as well. For the rp Beneath the surface, the second page of characters is unnaccessible by both myself and Lumine.

Hmm. I'm really just assuming that alxjvr is a bit busy with other things at the moment. It's reported, so hopefully when he fixes the problem with locations, it'll also fix the problem with characters. :/

I figured I'd post what games I have the same problem with... as it might help. If not it at least lets staff know that this is still a problem for some people and role plays.

My browser specs are: Firefox, version 3.6.20
I just tired it in IE & Safari as I have them on my computer and have the same problem. Don't know what versions they are but they are older versions as I don't update them since I don't use them but for a few of my rp forums.

I went threw all of the role plays and these are the ones where I can't access view any of the boards past page one.

• Akuma Manor - Adult
• -Soul Gauge Arena- (Needs Characters)
• Holly Hills Art Academy
• Shichiyou Academy - Adult
  
• Story of Us - Adult
  
• Thundering Wild Magic - Adult

The only ones that I'm not member of is -Soul Gauge Arena- (Needs Characters) & Holly Hills Art Academy but the rest I am a member of, true I own the last three but that's beside the point.

I'm posting this here since it is the same problem only with different role plays. I'm not sure about character pages but the role playing boards/places are what I checked in all role plays that had more than one page.

Did the staff figure out the reason or something?

Since I'm still in Australia, I'm not signing on to my work IM so I can't talk with them. xD; It's also difficult for me to sign in somewhere were we post to-do lists and so forth, so I'm very out of contact with Inso, yanyan and alxjvr and will be until I return home and can sort out things much better. ^^;

So any information on the problems people are experiencing is appreciated and hopefully the coders will check into the forums before I return and get on it. ^^ But it's often easier for them if I use the features I don't really have access to at the moment, so probably things will be a little borky until I'm settled at home again. xD;

are there "invisible locked" places in your game world? if yes, could you tell me how many there are of this kind? i'll try to replicate the problem at my end. thanks!

Nope, there's no invisible rooms at all. Every room made so far has been made visible and unlocked. I don't know if this might be related to the same problem as being unable to access any characters that aren't on the first page for some games. (not all games, just some and unfortunately no idea what may be different between them. Also this is a problem for at least 2 other people I've talked to. At least one of the problems did start before the server change, the others started after.)

don't have any places that are invisible or locked... Which I updated firefox to 5.0.1 version just a few minutes ago and still have the problem. I haven't tried it in the other web browsers as I'm still downloading them and updating them.

Thundering Wild Magic - most of the places are visible locked. But I cut it down to just one page since it isn't needed to have more than one page at the moment.

(yes I know the question was more directed at Tigerkytti but I know any other information on the problem helps it get found and fixed quicker)

I encountered the problem as well on my Firefox 5.0 I can't remember the RPG though.

Good news, the bug has been identified and fixed ( hopefully ). The fix will be synced with the live site soon.
