    The Samurai Village

    1x1 with Arcipello

A quiet Japanese village, nothing to out of the ordinary, everything seemed to be calm and quiet. One day when flash of light covered the sky in a blinding motion six figures appeared out of no where, when the light died down. The figures entered the village saying they were Samurai of the Ancients. That they were sent down from above to protect this village who is slowly being taken over by the unknown...

Once they arrived things seemed to turn upside down with the village. Villagers seemed to vanish or die of illness.. The Samurai took charge of the village and defeated every last creature. The village seemed to be at peace for years and the Samurai seemed to retire and go into hiding. The town went back to it's peaceful ways and time seemed to flow normally. The village started to develop more but it still seemed to be lacking when it came to technology. The villagers seemed to gain powers and change a little bit though..

In this story the villagers aren't to kind to outsiders, afraid their secret will be found out they kill who ever trespasses into the village. Where ever blood is spilled a cherry blossom grows.. At night if you listen you can here the cries and pleads from the outsiders that passed on. The trees are abnormally beautiful, but.. The sinister village is being taken over by a new Head Chief that seems to stop the nonsense. Now the village's past is no more.

Once people come into the village and those who wander outside can see the spirits of the fallen outsiders... The Samurai are getting antsy and nervous as a strange power arises from the new chief.. Could be be the one who brought chaos to this village years prior? What will happen when the village goes back into chaos.. Will things be able to go back to normally? For now.. The village is being called the most romantic place in all the lands. Where all you have to do is travel into the village and all your dreams of love will come true...

Will you stay and have your dreams come true? Or are you one of those curious people that come for adventure.. Will you discover the secret sinful past? will you find love? Or will you be stuck in the middle of a war that will bring out the worst in some... Maybe you'll make friends with the Samurai.. Well what ever your choice is, all that can be say is welcome to The Village of Cherry Blossoms

A tall slender well built man stood on top of a huge camper tree. I'm his hip was a long blade katana along with a smaller blade. He closed his eyes as the wrong wrapped around him like a warm spring blanket with the scent of freshly blossoming cherry blossom trees.

The man let a small smile okay at his pale lips as the breeze blew around him his darling trees were growing exceptionally well. He was glad to see this land flourishing once more thanks to his brothers and himself. With their powers over nature they made this dying village thrive once again. But sadly that want the only thing that flourished, the hate with in the villagers hearts grew the longer the samurai were here.

Outsiders were persecuted with out reason it made him sick. The samurai stood there on top of his tree where he meditated. He was a neutral samurai and he loved nature he cared for the land making the soil fertile for crops and animals flourish for hunting.

The Samurai had light brown hair his eyes were an emerald green just as the clear the gem its self and his skin was pale. His armor was a black and red with some tan. He had a ribbon with a cute little good luck charm on it.

The Samurai sighed and leapt from the tree and landed outside the village where he stayed most of the time. He didn't like being in the village so he lingered out side of it playing with natures creatures. The man took out his katana and waved his hand creating a wooden dummy rise up from the ground. The man closed his eyes as he gripped his katana, his eyes snapped open and he rushed towards the dummy he seemed to vanish into thin air as he appeared behind the dummy in a split second the dummy suddenly fell to pieces.

The samurai frowned a bit and shook his head as he knelt down picking up a piece of wood. He pursed his lips and sighed some as he jumped into a tree sitting on a branch. He pulled a wooden flute from his clothing and started to play a light melody to pass the time.

As time went by his mind started to wander and how much it had changed since the elemental samurai first came to the village. It was a joyous place, they were loved and welcomed, since they brought nothing but good luck and a healthy harvest. The people loved them but once the chief died things seemed to change when the next in line took over.

The man wasn't even born in this village he cared nothing for the people or their well being. He hated the man he along with his other brothers wanted him dead but that would surely be the down fall of the village. He wouldn't let that happen after everything they've done to keep this village a live.

The samurai opened his eyes as the wind blue making the cherry blossoms flat through the air, he took a deep breath as he played the flute inhaling the soothing scent of the fragrant petals that filled the air. This was in deed a very romantic town.

With a blood stained past.. He just hoped no one would come here to snoop around. With a heavy sigh he put his flute down and groaned. "Guess if anyone does come into the village...i'll just protect them" He murmured and frowned some his brothers would surely object but he was sick and tired of watching innocent yet curious souls being persecuted because they wanted to know the dark past.

He then wondered if the darkness coming from the Chief was that of a demon. If that was the case then the town had very little time before it's consumed by darkness.

The man groaned a bit and sighed heavily "Oh come on Namaki stop being so down!" He yelled at himself and fell out of the tree with a light thud. "Oh well that was full of grace" He said with a pathetic laugh as he sat up and yawned some leaning back as he closed his eyes and started to drift off to sleep laying under a tree enjoying the total silence.

"Where to, miss?" The cab driver asked, turning his head to look at the blonde in the back seat.
"The Samurai village, please," She responded, her voice was quiet but strong.

The driver nodded lightly before turning back to the road and driving onto the high way. Japan was a land of beauty. Yet, it was also a land of technology. It was small, but popular, especially with the American young. The woman in the back of the cab was Eliza Mariare, a historian, journalist, and blogger. She was semi-popular online for her adventures around the world. People enjoyed the stories she would create about her time in the countries she visited and they were always exceptionally well written. She's been writing a book about ever place she goes. The most interesting story she has would become the next chapter in her story. She's hoping to getting it published next summer.

Eliza sat quietly, her eyes moving from the window to the tablet on her lap. She started to type into her electronic journal as the drive moved along at a moderate speed. Her fingers glided along the touch screen as she wrote her thoughts of her travels so far. Sure, she wasn't doing a lot, but she could easily write something interesting that would capture her audience's appeal and longing to be doing what she did every week.

Eliza had only plans to stay in this 'Mysterious Samurai Village' for a week... however, the time spent there may be longer than she bargained for.

As the cab drove up to a long dirt road, it stopped. Trees covered the road, creating a speckled effect along the ground. Eliza looked up at the cab driver, waiting for him to pull in. He turned to look at her and shook his head, speaking in the native tongue. "I can't drive any further, miss, the town doesn't allow cars..." He spoke. Eliza furrowed her brow and quickly typed this into her journal before packing it away and reaching into her purse to pay the man. After she did so, she got out of the vehicle, grabbed her bags, and started to treck down the long road ahead of her.

It was peaceful, to say the least. Birds chirped and the occasional wildlife scampered across the road at her feet. It was strange to see nature so comfortable with the world. As she neared the village, she could hear the soft sound of a flute. It wasn't... modern, however. It was the distinct sound of a handmade flute. She continued to move forward before hearing a loud thud, upon reaching the entrance, she noticed a man sleeping under a tree. She looked up at the village and then at him. Perhaps he could tell her where the nearest in was.

Eliza put her bags down in the road and stepped toward him, very carefully. "Excuse me," She spoke, "Excuse me, sir." That was when she noticed his garb. It was very traditional, a little too traditional for every day use. Normally something like that was worn on days of festivals or events. Perhaps the town was celebrating something today. She tried to wake him again, "Excuse me," She said once more, "I'm here on vacation... and I was wondering if you would possibly know the way to the nearest inn?"

The man sleeping under the trees opened his eyes and peered at the young woman he yawned a bit and stood up stretching some. "Well hello young madam..Ah the nearest Inn? Well If you ask me i wouldn't stay at the Inn...at least not now a days.. Please follow me.." He said bowing to her. "My name is Namaki I protect this village and keep it healthy along with my fellow brothers. We are samurai." He said with a light playful smile.

"So what brings such a beautiful young woman to a secluded dark Village such as this?" He asked kindly and held out his arm to escort the young woman. "Though if things were a bit different..i would gladly show you the way to the Inn..but...i shouldn't be telling someone this it's just not safe here anymore" He said frowning.

"Don't be alarmed! Of course you're welcome to stay but i wouldn't if i were you at least not in the village.. My home is a little nicer than the Inn it's self..and it's a pretty traditional Japanese home." He said kingly. He closed his eyes when the wind blew the cherry blossom petals through the air once more.

"Ahhh i do have to say this time of year is quite beautiful~" He laughed a bit and grinned a bit goofy. "Come on i'll show you around the town" He said grinning as he took her hand and pulled her along. "So there are great shops here!" HE said excitedly. "The food here is great." He hummed lightly.

The streets were empty as people went in side after seeing an outsider. Namaki sighed depressingly. "Geez..this town used to be so nice...and lively..." He whined a bit as they neared a couple men in some what the same attire as him carrying Katanas on their hips.

"Anyways here's the Inn" He said stopping he moved to open the door for the young woman. "If you need anything let me know.." He said politely.

Eliza stared at the man for a moment. Wouldn't want to stay here? Why wouldn't she? This place was beautiful, and full of a historical charm. She started to follow after him as he introduced himself. He was a... what? A samurai? She smirked a little and chuckled. The ways of the samurai were rare now-a-days. She was almost positive that they had all gone extinct. However, perhaps there were a few... enthusiasts out there that kept the tradition alive. At least in their own families. Though, she couldn't expect much excitement in their life with the lack of opponents. "I'm Eliza Mariare. I'm a historian and journalist," She introduced herself.

Eliza stare at him, raising a brow. She declined his offer to take his arm and kept her hands on her luggage. Not safe? This place was getting more and more strange. "Well, I'm here to continue writing my book. I'm writing a book on my adventures around the world. My parents are rather wealthy, so they're funding my trip, mostly.," She explained, "May I ask why it's... not safe here? Have their been crimes happening recently?"

She continued to follow him as he started to speak of the spring and the rest of the town. Her eyes scanned the streets. She only saw the tail end of folks as they moved into their homes. A few blinds opened ever so slightly to watch her move down the street with Namaki. Eliza began to feel rather uncomfortable. She would surely have something to write about when she got to sit down and get on her tablet.

As they neared a large building, Eliza noticed more 'samurai-esque' men watching them. They stopped in front of the inn. She looked up at it before looking at the men over Namaki's shoulder. She made a slight face before nodding. "Uhm, could you tell me what I need to be careful about?" She asked, "And... who those men are?"

Namaki grinned a bit goofily. "Nice to meetcha and those men..are my brothers" HE said simply and cleared his throat eyeing around them before leaning down and whispering so no one could hear. "It's jsut..that outsiders go missing...." He mumbled softly and sighed she was a snooper this couldn't go well.

He sighed a bit wondering if it would be worth keeping hersafe. He cold already seeing her getting into some serious trouble. "Just be careful alright...? I'll do my best to keep you safe" He said calmly as he looked around and sighed some. "It's been quiet lately.so you might not have any troubles" He said calmly "Just...watch what questions you ask the villagers.." He said softly. What was he suppose to tell the girl? That all outsiders get slaughtered with in a week of staying here? HE didn't want to scare her away it was just he was getting worried.

"I have to go train...would you like to come watch? It gets really really boring around here there's hardly anything to do.." He said huffing childishly. "So if you ever wanna play some pranks or games let me know!" HE said sticking out his tongue childishly. HE grinned some and brushed his brown hair out of his face as he shifted a bit.

He looked down at the girl and sighed a bit as he stepped away from her and stepped down to the street he bowed to her and smiled sweetly. "I can be found on the outskirts of the town... There's a hot spring i'm normally at.." He said grinning as he looked at her. "Like i said if you want to b shown aroudn i'm your guy!" He said smiling "i've always wanted to sho such a beautiful flower such as yourself around~" he said sweetly.

Eliza stared at him for a moment. She needed write down her first impressions of this place, immediately. Dark blue eyes moved to look at the brothers one last time before returned her eyes to look at Namaki. Eliza, being rather awkward with flirty, blatantly ignored his compliment and just went on to say, "Perhaps I'll join you at the hot springs late. I would like to settle into a room and write for a little while. But I appreciate the offer. And... I'll be sure to be careful. Thank you for the warning."

"My enterance was unlike any I had ever had. I was greeted by a local by the name of Namaki. He was an interesting character. His hair was dark brown and long and his eyes were and energetic silver. He was obviously a native, and dressed in traditional samurai garb, however, it was decorated in multiple colors and floral patterns. He was young in personality and apparently concerned for my safety during my visit.

Dangerous, was how he described the small, quiet village. To be honest, I'm not sure that dangerous would describe the traditionally quaint town. If I hadn't see the doors close and the windows open to the eyes of the villagers, he, and the strange presence of his brothers, would have been the only person I thought was living there. I regret not being able to find information on this small village. I was only able to learn it's location and name, but there was barely any, if not, no known knowledge of this town. The villagers stared at me through their windows as if a western movie was taking place in their dirt streets.

My first encounter with the locals was with the Inn keeper. The building was empty when I walking into the lobby. Literally, there couldn't be another visitor in this town other than me. I was baffled. I walked over to the man, who was stiff and held some sort of caution in his eyes. When I payed him, he made sure to be very careful about not touching my hand. It was as if touching me would curse him in some way, like my very touch would turn him into a foreigner and he would no longer be allowed to live in this village. The room was cheap, thankfully, and I retreated to it to settle in.

That is where I sit now, in my simple, yet lovely room. I'm unsure if I want to uncover the mysteries of this village or simply enjoy a quiet vacation. I worry about the precautions of letting my curiosity wonder. However, I told Namaki I would meet him at a local hot spring, so, I must be off to do so.

It turns out, as well, that I have no internet, so these posts will have to be posted after my visit of this village. I will, however, continue to write."
Eliza stared at her screen and pursed her lips. Her tablet was getting low on battery. She decided to turn it off, instead of plugging it in. Since she couldn't find and outlet. She stood to her feet and decided to join the villagers in their traditional garb. She always had some sort of traditional garb that fit the country she was going to.

So, she slipped on a floral Yukata and stepped out of her rented room and headed out of the inn. Before realizing that she had no idea where the Hot springs even was.

Namaki nodded sweetly and left her to settle in. He hummed a little bit and took a deep breath as he walked to the springs he smiled some and picked up a rabbit that bounced over to him. "Well hello there little guy!" He said sweetly. "Ohh do me a favor...find the new girl.." He said gently and he set the cute rabbit down and it hopped off to go to town.

Namaki hummed a little bit and sat down taking his shoes off he put his feet into the springs and played his flute. His music floated through the air beautifully as he closed his eyes. Nature seemed t go still as he played, as if the trees and creatures were listening to him play.

His brothers were lingering in the shadows meditating to his song. Namaki was very into it swaying side to side slightly as he played deep in thought. He could just feel the air lighten up it wasn't as dark and full of secrecy when he played his flute. He started to meditate, soething he had to do since he held such power over nature. He didn't have an element, because he was all the elements in one body.

He was different than his brothers. He was special, he was balance, with out him his brother's powers would wane and go out of control. He was important to them and to the village. Though his brother picked on him he certainly didn't mind. He like the attention, it was nice.

Soon his song ended and he started to play another song this time one of his brother's the water Samura played his own instrument along with him from under a tree near the spring. Namaki couldn't help but smile as they played together. He moved and sat by his brother as they played.

Namaki's rabbit hopped through the forest listening to the melody that rang through the air soon it was in town and hopped around sniffing the air for the scent of an outsder. Soon it found the young woman and it hopped right on over to her and sat at her feet cutely

As Eliza exited the inn, she heard the same sound as she did entering the village. A beautiful, hand crafted, flute. She stared at the air for a moment, as if entranced by it. It felt as though her body didn't want to move. If she moved, the music would stop and there would be nothing to listen to, just the silence. It felt as though she had gone back in time. There was nothing here but peace and quiet. Every day activities were held outside. There wasn't technology to distract the mind, just each other. She stood there for a long time, listening to the music that was shared with the earth. However, it ended after a while.

Eliza snapped out of her trance and seemed to awaken as if she had just passed out. She took a step forward, remembering how to walk and searching the area for some sort of human face to remind herself that she was awake. But the streets were empty. There was nothing to tell her if this was a dream or not. And just as she was trying to decifer this dream-like feeling, the music started again. This time, however, a string instrument was added. As she listened to the far off music, a small white rabbit sat at her feet. She stared at it for a time before it tugged at the hem of her yukata and started to hop toward the forest.

This had to be a dream.

Eliza stared after the creature before following after it, doing an awkward jog with the constraints of the yukata. The forest was dense, yet easy to maneuver through, as if people had gone this way before. Sun speckled the floor through the leaves as a soft breeze aided the flow of the tune. At this point, nothing seemed real to her. She felt as though she were in a story book, running through the forest like Alice Liddel from Alice in wonderland. As if any moment, she'd be falling through a hole to some new world.

However, she didn't fall through a hole and she didn't end up in another world (Although it felt like she had.) She ended up a a beautiful natural spring. There were multiple presences here, she could feel that, but she could only see two. Namaki sat by another male, one of his brother's, Eliza had assumed. They were both playing on their instruments. Eliza stood at the mouth of the spring and watched them silently. She had forgotten about the rabbit, and nothing seemed to come from her mouth. Until she finally managed to speak.

    "Am... I asleep right now?"

The rabbit hopped over to Namaki and he smiled as their song ended. He looked down petting the little guy "Thank you friend.." He said lightly and waved when the bunny hopped away. Namaki laughed and shook his head standing up he slid into his shoes adn shook his head "No this isn't a dream Miss." HE said smiling.

"Come let me show you around!" He said lightly and held out his hand giving a goofy grin. He grimaced when one of his brothers threw a shoe at hi in rejection. "Owwwww don't be rude tamaki!" Namaki growled and pouted childishly. "Have you not warned her the dangers of this village!?" He growled some.

Namaki grimaced "Yeah..w..well i mean i didn't get descriptive..i didn't want to scare her!" He said softly. "Pfft she should be scared if her life is at stake." The man called Tamaki growled angrily. Namaki sighed softly and shook his head he lifted his hadn and threw a ball of water that formed in his palm at his brother making his body steam a bit."Cool down geez.." he said.

"I'll protect her.." He said and moved smiling back at the young woman "Come on lets get out of here.." He said lightly and took her hand pulling her along "I'll answer any questions you might have about the village!" HE said happily
