I nodded and hugged him a little tighter. "Yeah.. I'm fine.. Wouldn't be the first time that's happened.." I looked up at him. "Are you okay?.."
"He wont do that anymore.. ill make sure of it." I said, and I nodded at what she said next. "Yes, im okay.."

"I cant believe that I was willing to give him what he wanted.." I let go of him. "But I would have, if that meant saving your life.."
"Im.. not worth that. I would have taken that knife in the gut, instead of him having his way with you." I said.

I looked up into his eyes. " I'm not worth that. " I whispered.
"Hey.. but you are." I said. "I would have owed that to you agter what Ive done over the years.."

I shook my head. "You don't owe me anything." I gently took his hand.
I just nodded slowly.. I kissed her hand softly, before letring it go. "I think they are serving lunch now.." I said, completely off topic. And I slowly made my way to the door.

I didn't feel like eating. I had completely lost my appetite when Eric kissed me. I watched as he left, then I went and laid down.
After lunch, I sneaked a few cookies, and.I headed back to her room, knocking softly, and going in. "Hey.. I have cookies."

I looked up at him and smiled, slowly sitting up. "Thanks.."
I handed her a couple, and I sat on the ground, my back agsinst the bed. "There was Almost no food.." I said.

I sighed and took a small bite. "We're all going to starve." I said sadly.
"Another reason why I want to leave." I said softly, taking a bite of my cookie.

I didn't answer, I just laid back and looked up at the ceiling.
I looked up at her and sighed. "Hopefully it will get better.. " I said softly, and I looked down.

"Hopefully." I answered, looking down at him. When our eyes met, I felt butterflies in my stomach and I smiled slightly, looking away.
I slowly stood, and sat on the bed beside her. I poked her side smiling, "Someone's blusshinng..."

I blushed even harder and I covered my face with my hands. "No I'm not.."
"You arrreee." I teased, and I hugged her. "Aw youre shyy..." I teased once more, laughing.

I shook my head and peeked at him through my fingers. "Nopeeee."
"Prove it." I said, pulling her closer, smiling still. She was so adorable sometimes...

I moved my hands from my face and I looked into his eyes, our faces only inches apart. "And how do I do that?"
I froze. A bit speechless.. I was still very scared to get close to people at all, I looked down at her lips, and back into her eyes.. "I..."

I gently touched his cheek. "You can't tell me that you didnt feel anything when we kissed at those parties.." I whispered. I glanced down at his lips. "You can trust me."
I didn't say anything.. should I.. really open up to her?.. or.. not.. I shook my head slowly, and I stood.. "I need time.." I said softly, not looking at her.. and I slowly walked out, and went to my room.

I watched as he left, my heart sinking. Why does he keep doing this? Haven't I proved enough? I almost gave myself to Eric just so Slade wouldn't get stabbed. I sighed and laid down, burying my face in my pillow.
A few days went by, me just thinking.. I knew I had hurt her.. I didn't mean to.. I just didnt think I was ready to trust anyone yet.. I didnt see her, she didnt see me over the days.. but I think I had made my mind up.

I was miserable. I didnt leave my room. Sydney brought me food. The only time I left was to go to the homeless shelter.
I had gone to the flower shop a few blocks up that day, to get her some flowers.. there was red roses, yellow ones, and even blue ones. I set them in front of her door, and I headed back to my room.. I knew she had been miserable.. I had been also.. I felt awful.. but now I had to make it up to her.
