"I don't know.. I mean.. will it be okay with your mom?" I asked, I cant believe she was offering that, after the years I ignored her. I gave her hand a squeeze.

I smiled, and nodded. "Alright. Sounds good.." I said. "Can er go to your house? I miss her." I said.

I smiled and nodded. "Sure." I replied. We walked to my house and I led him inside. Not too much has changed, except there were no pictures of my dad anywhere nor was there any of his stuff. His pictures were all in my room. "Mom!" I called. "Come here! Someone's here to see you!" I heard footsteps and my mom came down. "Angus?" She asked disbelievingly.
I smiled , seeing her, and I noticed the bit of emptiness, both in her eyes and around the house. "Its me." I said, shrugging. "Im back." I said, hugging her mom sweetly.

"Oh it's so nice to see you! Look at you! What happened? You changed so much." She said. "Then again, we all changed.." She kissed his cheek. "Welcome back." We had dinner, then I decided to sit down and ask her about Angus staying with us. She didn't even ask any questions. "Of course! You didn't even have to ask!"
Dinner was amazing, and I felt like I was home.. a new home. "Really?" I said, smiling, I was so excited. I hugged them both. "Thank you.. this means alot to me.." I said.

I smiled. "It's really no problem. We have a guest bedroom." Mom decided to go to bed early so we sat on the couch and watched movies.
I really couldnt have started school on a more awkward day, on a Friday. But I was glad, since we stayed up really late watching cheesy comedies. Then we watched a movie that had a raunchy sex scene in it. I awkwardly looked away, rubbing my temples.

I pretended to text on my phone when that scene was occurring. This kind of stuff didn't use to bother us, but I guess things are different now since we both hit puberty..
"Texting the boyfriend?" I asked. How was this scene still going? I grabbed a blanket qnd slowly slid that in my lap, hiding the embarrassment.

"The imaginary one, you mean? Yeah, totally." I answered, and I grew suspicious when he slid a blanket onto his lap. Was he actually turned on by this? I bit my lip and put my phone away, awkwardly watching the scene.
The scene finally ended, thank god. But the devil in my oants was not backing down at all! Fuck.. "Oh shush, youll find someone." I said. And something clicked..

I shrugged. "I'm not too worried about it." I scooted closer to him and rested my head on his shoulder. "What about you? Any love interests?"
"Uh.. not really. Yeah, none.. unless Megan Fox counts." I said, chuckling. "Kidding, kidding.." I said. "I havent dated aince 7th grade." I said, shrugging.

I giggled. "That's cute." I could tell I was making him uncomfortable so I lifted my head from his shoulder and wrapped my arms around my knees, my chin resting on them as I watched the TV screen.
"Why'd you do that?" I asked, looking at her, I liked the feeking of her head being on my shoulder.. I was a bit surprised with myself how straight forward I was with not liking the fact she pulled away like that.

I shrugged. "Because." I answered with a smirk. I've always been that playing-hard-to-get type of girl.
"You're such a hardass." I said, chuckling quietly. I scratched at my chin, little hairs present from a whole day of no shaving. I shook my head as another sex scene came on. "What is this, porn?"

I laughed. "Apparently." I answered, watching the scene. I felt my skin tingle slightly. At least the people in the scene are attractive.
I watched the scene, my jeans becoming really tight this time. Shit! I made sure the blanket hid everything... I then got goosebumps, this was weird, awkward. Why did we have to hit puberty? We would be making fun of this normally

I leaned back and glanced over at him. He looked tense. I touched his knee gently. "Are you okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, im fine." I said, smiling, the scene ended, and I was relieved, and I relaxed. "Are you okay?" I said goofily. "Its late." I said, rubbing my eyes

I chuckled. "Yeah." I pulled my hand away and we finished the movie. It was pretty good.
I pulled the blanket off, relived the tent was gone , and rubbed my eyes. "Should get to bed." I said. "Or not." I added, smiling. "I dont want to be a boring teenager and go to bed at 12.“

I grinned. "Me neither." I looked up at him. "What do you wanna do?" I asked.
"How about.. like old days, lets go to our fort, and sleep there?" I asked, it could be fun.

I grinned. "Okay." I left a note for mom and we packed snacks and stuff and we went out to the old fort. I crawled under the blankets. You could hear the crickets outside. It was peaceful.
I remembered the nights would be very cold, but we had a ton of blankets, and eachother. I laid down beside her, under all the blankets. It was nice. We even had a few candles lit for some dim lighting. I moved closer to her, hoping she remembered how we kept warm.

I reacted as if it was the most natural thing in the world. I snuggled into him, resting my head on his chest, my hand next to it, one of my legs draped over his legs. It was very comfortable.
