"No.. youre not.." I whispered, and I sat up, and I touched her arm softly, and I kissed her shoulder. "Dont lie, please."

I sighed. "I just had a bad dream. I'm fine." I mumbled, glancing up at her.

I frowned, and laid back down, facing away from her. I pulled the covers to my shoulder and I closed my eyes. I tried..

I sighed. "Don't be mad at me." I whispered, closing my eyes.

"Im not." I said, sighing. I soon fell back into my dreamless sleep, and I woke in the morning. I stretched, and groaned softly.

I never went back to sleep. I turned and looked over at her. "Good morning." I mumbled.

She looked very tired, and troubled.. I didnt ask, knowing if I did she wouldn't tell me probably. "Hey.. sleep well?"

I shrugged. "I guess." I answered, sitting up. "I should probably get home.."

I sighed, and nodded.. "I'll take you.." I said, a bit disappointed.. was she changing her mind about me?..

I shook my head. "I brought my car. I have to go help my parents plan the resturant." I kissed her gently, to let her know I'm not mad at her.

"Right." I said, remembering that she did. I kissed her back softly. "Text me.." I said, when she left the room.

I changed back into my clothes, then I drove home and went to bed, earning myself a few hours of sleep.

There was something a bit off with how she acted, but I tried my best to ignore it. I heard a knock on my door, and I hesitantly got up and looked out the window. Mom? I wuockly ran down the stairs, and I opened the door, seeing her there, looking disgusted. "This is how you dress?" She said, making her way inside. Here we go.. "It is the morning, Melody.." I said, not calling her mom started years ago.. "Who was here?" She asked, seeing the two coffee mugs on the table. "My girlfriend." I said, and the look on her face cut me deep. "Youre lesbian too? Further more reasons for me to regret having you." She spat. "What do you want.." I asked, tears filling my eyes. "My necklace I gave to you when you were 10. Its real gold and I need the money." I sighed and I went and grabbed it, handing it to her. And she left without a word. Why was she so cruel to me.. whT did I do? I went and locked my front and back door, and I laid in my bedroom, and just cried to myself..

I woke up a few hours later, then I got ready for the day and I say in the kitchen with my parents. "Okay, so we figured you could be a manager Constance.. Since we won't always be there.. So you'll get to hire worthy candidates." My father said. I smiled. "Thanks." I answered. While we talked, I took out my phone and texted Adira. Hey. Wanna come over?

I will later.. something popped up. Ill tell you when I see you. I sent. And I just stayed where I was, and I tried to calm down..

I frowned at the text and sighed, putting my phone away. After my parents left for work, I sat on my computer, roaming Madeline's page.

After a few hours, I got cleaned up and I went over. I knocked on the door.

I closed my laptop and got up, walking to the door. I opened it and let her in. "Hey.. What happened?" I asked, seeing the look on her face.

"My Mom happened.." I said softly. I sat by her, and looked down. "She came over after you left.. and. She found out you were over.. and.. she hates me even more now for being with a girl.. and, she took a necklace she gave me for money .." I said. I took her hand. "But she cant stop me.. I still want to be with you and that wont change." I said.

I smiled gently and squeezed her hand. "I'm glad..." I whispered.

"But.. yeah.. thats how my morning went.." I said, taking a shaky breath. "I dont know why she hates me.."

I gently took her hand and squeezed it. "I don't see how anyone could ever hate you." I said softly.

"Both my parents do." I said, and I continued looking down. I held my tears back and I took a deep breath. "Hows.. the resty thing coming?"..

"Fine." I answered with a shrug. I gently stroked her cheek. "Please don't be sad.."

"Sorry.." I said, and I took another deep breath, and I took her hand, that alone making me feel a little better.

"You don't have to apologize." I said softly, leaning in to kiss her cheek. "Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?"

"Okay.. and im feeling better already. I just had to tell someone about it." I said, and I leanrd over and kissed her softly.

I rested my hand on the side of her neck and closed my eyes, kissing her back gently and cautiously. I didn't want to push her.

I didnt know why she was being so cautious.. I pulled her to me, and I kissed her deeply and sweetly, letting her know I was open to things.

I was a little surprised, but I smiled behind the kiss and deepened the kiss, my arms wrapping around her waist and I pulled her slowly into my lap.
