Looking for 1x1 please!

Hello, I'm yet another person searching for 1x1 rps! I'm not usually very good at describing everything I want to when doing things like introductions and this, but I'll try my best^^ Also, if I don't cover something you're wondering about feel free to ask me! Questions are welcomed and encouraged!

Anyways here goes;

Posting Frequency:

I'm looking for someone who can post in the very least, once per day. Any less then that I don't mind as I'm always willing to give a rp a shot. However, what I would really like is someone who's online at least once a day (barring special circumstances of course) and if you can post even more then that, great! Most of my time is spent online, and I originally started out on Chat RP so I'm used to posting multiple times in a day easily.

Posting Length:

Please no one liners. I don't have a real minimum beyond at least a single paragraph. However preference wise, two paragraphs at least tend to work out best. As you can tell I'm not overly strict on length because as long as you can give me enough to work with, I can do the same for you. And I know sometimes motivation or inspiration wanes for everyone. Be warned however, I personally tend to be able to post quite a bit on a normal basis.

Literacy:

As long as I can understand what you mean, you don't have to have good spelling or grammar. Of course I prefer better quality, but again not required, as long as you try your best. This of course means absolutely no chat speak, etc.

Characters:

I can play guy or girl with no problem. I have a slight preference towards playing girls but as I said I can play both with no problem. I can easily double play characters. Heck if you have wish to do so, I do have experience in triple and even quadruple playing characters.

Additional Notes:

-Yes, I will play romance of any type, and I also do not mind playing without romance. Either or is acceptable. However unless it's been arranged for ahead of time, I prefer characters don't immediately fall in love.

-Absences: please if you are going to be away for any amount of time, let me know ahead of time. If you get sick, etc, even just a quick note to let me know would be good. Otherwise I have the tendency to worry, so for the sake of my sanity, please I'll do the same for you.

-Quitting: If for whatever reason you want to quit or have to, again please tell me! It seriously sucks if someone loses interest in a rp and doesn't have the courtesy to tell you so your left wasting your time waiting around. Again, I will do the same for you.
This also applies for breaks. Need to take a break, please tell me. Sure it might be disappointing, but I'd rather have someone take the break they need then burn themself out or lie to me.

-Respect is key^^ I automatically give everyone respect, so please return it and you'll keep mine.



As for what I will and won't play: I'm really easygoing, so if you have any ideas that do not clash with what I won't do, whether or not I list it, feel free to ask! The worst I'll say is no, I'm not judgemental.

Hey just thought I'd let everyone know that I am still wishing to start more 1x1's although I'm currently having issues with posting. So in other words, while I would loooove to start some more, I'm having problems getting up the motivations for posting (very annoying...)

So the most right now I will be doing is discussing out any ideas for RPs and creating new ones. I'm happy to do this, but it's pretty much all that I can do.

The Mage Lord And His Pet
Rated: Adult- NSFW
Genre: Medieval Fantasy
Summary: In the depths of the forest stands a mysterious tower belonging to a powerful mage lord and at it's base is a small village that he is the master of. It is not a commonly known of village, due to it's size and location it's not on the main roads. However, what is known of the place that while the villagers are friendly enough, the lord of the Tower is a mysterious man. Even the villagers don't know much about him either then he is kind enough if not cold, as long as they pay their tithes and such to him. If angered, however his fury is frightening and punishment is swift. And as far as everyone in the village knows, it is the same master generation after generation, as he has never taken a wife and has not mated with any of the villagers who act as servants in the tower. While, he may have or may not have had intimate relationships with any of the villagers, none have ever become pregnant by him if he has. How the man has retained his youth however, no one knows, be it that he just happens to be of an incredibly long lived race, or his great magical powers has kept him young.
One day this mage lord is walking by himself in an area of his forest, his very private and personal territory and comes across a young elven woman who has somehow managed to lose herself within this area. He is not happy to have a trespasser there, but finds himself wanting her for himself (for whatever reason). Because this section of the forest is his personal area it has been long spelled so that unless one knows their way out of it, they are forever trapped. And so he offers her a choice: Forever wander the forest until she dies, or become his and come to live with him in his tower.
Of course, since she does not wish to die alone in such a place, she agrees to his terms.
Shortly afterwards, he eventually finds out that she is actually a mage of great potential herself, and that she has a deep passion for books. Possessing a vast library of books collected over the ages, he may consider her taking care of this treasure in return for him teaching her more magic...

Unfortunately I think I'm going to need on a general hiatus here x.x While I'm still able to post to some very select places (these are for characters I know VERY well) for the most part I can't focus well enough. So besides the ones that I DON'T have to push myself to do, I'm currently putting all my characters on hold. Even those in group RPs... I'm really sorry because it's no one's specific fault for this and I feel terrible for having to do so. I will STILL be around, lurking on the site and such so feel free to drop me a line etc. But right now for the most part I can't string enough sentences together that aren't crap to make it worth rping with me.

I would normally try to push myself through this annoying slump but just tonight inhaled some mold by accident... (woo for not noticing it until after smelling the food to see if it still smelled ok) And I'm seriously allergic to mold, so I've a feeling I'll be sick for at least the next couple days at best.

Again, very very very sorry, none of the rps I'm in are abandoned! Just paused until I don't feel like I have to force myself to give something decent.

And more bad news!!! My laptop decided to die. A random file (or at least I assume so) decided to get itself corrupted and now it refuses to start up. And all I had done prior to that was try to install an old game (simsafari) which is completely incompatible. Laptop shut done after that and the rest is hair pulling history. On one hand thankfully I can use my hubby's laptop but it is also my old one and a lot of buttons stick including thespace andbackspace; just for me for some reason. So, until that problem is resolved any posts I manage should beconsidered miraculous. Because just typing this has me ready to break into tears. Sorry guys.

For everyone I'm playing with just letting you all know that my laptop has been recovered (Yays!) and I'm starting to gain more motivation back. Woohoo! As some might see I have been starting to play catch up. However, with still recovering from this stupidly frustrating slump, I'm not going to be able to get to everyone immediately. I ask for a little more patience, NO rp has been forgotten or lost interest in, I promise you. Right now, I'm posting first based on those who have been waiting the longest. (Thankfully the subscriptions keep track of all that easily, such a great system) And I'm working my way up the list. I might possibly skip up for group rps, because there are multiple people waiting on me.

And please don't worry that I'll feel like your pestering me if you wish to ask me about the status of your rp with me. Everyone has been wonderful about it so far, and I appreciate it truly. So asking me every now and then is not bothersome, I promise.

Well, good news to all, my move is mostly done with! Just have packing and organizing to do, which will mostly be done during this next week! My fingers have stopped hurting from the thorns (although they still haven't worked their way out yet, damn them) and so I can type with both hands again.

My new place seems leak and mold free so my health should be getting better too, which will mean that I will be back into prime rping again soon I hope!

Not being able to rps been driving me nuts x.x

Anyways, this is just an update, might even start catching up on posts again as soon as tomorrow^^

For those who may not have noticed (and are interested in knowing) I'm back to posting regularly so far with no problems My fingers still are not hurting (yay) and my general slump seems to have passed for the most part! Woohoo! And I believe I have caught up with everyone and everything, so if you are in a rp with me, there should be a post waiting for you! If I've managed to miss anyone, please let me know as it's definitely not intentional and I will post to you as soon as I'm aware of this.

Thanks again for those who have been so very patient with me and for those who've shown me support. I really appreciate it.
