    Hush~

    *****
The city of Abaddon. A beautiful city, full of life, housing one of the best universities in the region as well as plenty facilities for recreation and entertainment. People flock to the city and everything seems perfect on the surface, but things are bound to change as people behind the curtain begin to stir...

Ewan was sitting silently in his room, going through heaps of reports, that were handed to him earlier that day. He's been reading them for a while now, but there was no end in sight. It seemed, that things were starting to become complicated on many fronts, yet his father kept turned a blind eye on the issue. Honestly, the man was starting to become senile and pretty much useless, it was a wonder how he still managed to run the group. 'Ah, right... He has a handy bastard to handle things in his stead,' a bitter thought ran through the man's head, but not a muscle on his face twitched to reflect it. That was something Ewan learned during his first year at this god forsaken villa he was brought to.

Casually glancing at the clock, the man ran his fingers through his dark red hair, pushing them back from his face. It was about time. Pushing the chair back, Ewan stood up and made his way towards the door. Behind the door, there stood two men in black suits. Setting his sharp hazel eyes on one of the men, he issued a command, "Find Robbert, tell him to prepare everything and ready a car."
"Yes," the man nodded and rushed off, yet the other didn't budge from his post, not even as much as to look at Ewan. If it was the old him, Ewan would have felt offended and ignored, but he was way past that stage and learned to see the benefit of it. Closing the door firmly, the man started fixing his clothes and ran through the plans for the evening.

She was utterly exhausted after the day she had went through. It seemed as though everything that could've gone wrong had, and she really just wanted to go home and soak in a long, hot bath. Then sleep. Because sleeping was almost heavenly now.

Minnie had woken up at three in the morning, thanks to her cat, and hadn't been able to fall back asleep, so she set into studying for her upcoming exams. It had only stressed her out, and when she had gone to class, she found a pop quiz waiting for her on her desk. It was grueling, and she barely squeaked out an A, but she had. Now, she was walking home from her university, hungry, tired, and irritable. Her peach colored skirt swished against her legs as she slowly walked down the empty sidewalk, sighing.

It wasn't even seven yet, but it seemed as though everyone was gone. Her dark eyes scanned the streets before her, puzzled. Where was everybody? It was Abaddon, not some small town that shuts down at six every night. There should be some frat boys out, drinking beer and partying. Or some girls looking for a fun night. It was just so... empty. A chill ran up Minnie's spin, and she rubbed her bare arms.

The thought of a warm bath, a nice dinner, and some snuggling with her cat led the woman to walk a bit faster, wanting nothing more than to get home. She only had a couple more blocks anyways. The leather bag at her waist bumped against her with every step she took, and finally she laid her hand upon it, stopping the movement.

Soon, she was coming across her most hated part of her walk: the alleys. They always scared her for some reason. Probably all the crime shows she watched. There's nothing in them, silly, she thought. It's just an empty, dark, alley. Don't worry about it. She laughed aloud, shaking her head. Then, with a deep breath, she made her way down the sidewalk, passing the alley.

"Gyaaaahh....! Someone!.. Someone please help!" a helpless, bone chilling scream of a man echoed through the alleys, followed by rushing footsteps. The alleys were already dark, the buildings in the area began to cast long, ghastly shadows as sun seemed to set, cowering behind them.
"Don't run, you damned coward! Not so sneaky anymore, are we now?" a more cheerful voice came, that seemed entirely unfitting.

In one of the deeper mazes of the alleys there stood four men. One was seemingly in his fifties, medium height, a bit overweight and starting to get bald. He had small dark rat like eyes, that now desperately were trying to find away to escape the imminent threat, that was looming in a form of the other three men. The leader of the three, a young brunette in his early twenties, was widely known to the people concerned. He was the one to carry out any decisions made by Eden leaders. It was always good news as long as he wasn't involved.

"St-... stay away! I did nothing, you can't prove anything!" he was whimpering, his voice was so shaky, that it was hard to even make out what he was saying.
"Oh~?" the brunette shrugged nonchalantly, and started approaching the now trembling man. 'Pathetic...' he thought as his face became twisted with a grin. "That's not what I heard," the young man continued to speak as he took out a gun and playfully started pointing it at his victim. "Are you sure we are wrong?"
    "Y-yes, I did nothing, I swear!"
The grinning face suddenly became cold and piercing, "Liar." The brunette pointed the gun straight at the other's thigh and pulled the trigger...
"Gahh...!" the man grunted as sharp pain began to pulse in rushing waves. His body became drenched in sweat, panting, he succumbed on the ground and looked up at the brunette, that still had his gun pointed straight at him. The young man's eyes had not a glimmer of mercy.
