Purpose of the thread? Tell us a time when you messed up while role-playing.
While there is a thread for people to rip on other people's mistakes, we don't have a thread detailing how we've messed up (and, let's get real, we've definitely messed up before). I mean, maybe you, in your early (or not so early) days made the disastrous Sue, was the reason a game died (made tons of plans, but didn't post?), or was just an all-around, grade A jackass—I don't know, but tell us!
Discuss a time when you were still a wee-little grasshopper and all the troubles you've caused the mighty-veterans of role-playing!
Justification for the thread (because I'm thinking this might be necessary): Stories of accidental missteps allow for players to bridge the imaginary (but still very real) level gap between budding writers and experienced role-players. They help integrate rookies, soften the initial jump, and, overall, serve as a good way for older players to reminisce about the good ol' days (or, I suppose, not so good days, lol).
So, why don't you take a seat and laugh with me about the times when you didn't know the difference between your/you're or the times when you had your character run 500+ abilities! Because, love, I've definitely got a few stories of my own.
(This thread will adhere to all codes of decorum, discretion, and respect. Do not be the asshole that forces me to call the mods because, damn, do I hate using the mod whistle).
