Lost in my monochromatic thoughts...
This thread is dedicated to my own writing, that's not Anaya's not, T.K.'s... Not any of my multiple personalities, but my own. I may just dump some of my crappiest stuff here, but most of it will be the thought-out things that may sound somewhat cliche.

Dear Warmth,
I miss your embrace, the touch of your skin against mine. in the dead of winter, all I need to do is find you, and hold you in my arms.
When you go away, there's a feeling in my stomach that I cannot get rid- you're always on my mind. I feel like I want to take a piece of you and wrap it around my neck, your love protecting me like a scarf.
Your voice is like poerty, a kind summer breeze that kisses my ears as it passes by. The very sound that moves me to you. The sound sends shivers down my frozen back, bringing me back o a world that can only be ours, unless you decide to bring someone in.
My mind wanders to thoughts that makes me frustrated. I am in love with the cold as I am with you, dear Warmth. But the difference is that I am more comfortable with your embrace than I am with the Chill's hasty touch. Oh how I wish I could control my emotions... But where would I stand if I could? I would be frozen and uncomfortable, whilst I mourn for your touch silently.
Before you, I was lost in a blizzard of emotion, a blizzard that layered over me. When you found me, I was miserable, fated to love the cold for eternity, but you changed that; showing me a new way to love.
Your smile melts my frozen face and your touch warms my heart. My snow covered eyes have been opened to the love of summer.

My heart seems to fall down to the bottom of the puddles of rain on the street
as the news comes on through the PA
"There will be no event today" the voice booms
"All of you who have worked hard have done it for nothing." is what I hear
My head hangs low as my friends pinch my cheeks, begging me to be happy, cheerful
But I feel sadness
I underwent a huge change
Like I do each summer
Before it was self-consciousness
Or a petty change in skills
This summer was about
Something a bit...
Bigger.
Crazier.
Different.
I learned more about myself
Friends
Family
And strangers
I used to be quiet
Shy.
Afraid.
Introverted.
Now I am loud
Voicing my thoughts to the world
Some would call me obnoxious.
I actually understand what's going on around me.
The world changed as well
No longer are things really hidden from me
I know I can learn about causes and effects
And actually understand them
Others around me have changed as well
For bad
And for the better
Some are gone
Some are still by my side.
I've learned that I can lean on them
When I'm in need
I no longer keep things to myself until they
Explode.
Make me burst into a flame of...
A signal for help.
I know for a fact that I'm not perfect
I'll never see myself in a very good light either
I know that others aren't perfect as well
Weather or not they believe it
But there is someone out there for me
For you
For that person you just hate with all your might
Who completes you, or me, or them
Who's perfect for you, or me, or them
But there is still much to learn
I underwent so many changes
I'm no longer that short haired
Quiet, yet frightening
Who would hide behind her glasses
Scared
Girl.
But now a long haired
Expressive and unafraid
No longer able to hide
Somewhat brave
Human.
I know who I am now
I know what I can do
But there is just so much more for me to learn.
