Bio :: Natsu was born into an average middle class family and is the youngest of two children. There is a six year age difference between her and her older brother, but her family is extremely laid back. Her mother was a foreigner and her father Japanese, making Natsu a eurasian. When Natsuko was about ten years old she found an old Chinese book while wondering around the library her brother had brought her with him to. She ended up seeing a red flash of light and was suddenly in another world. At first it was fun, Natu thought of it as some kind of game; however, as days went by she began to feel scared an trapped. A kind young woman found her one day under a tree when she was too weak from hunger to move, and brought her to an orphanage. Most of the other kids stayed away from her though. Natsuko's European blood made her look very different from the others, and she was teased and called a demon by the other children... all but one anyway. Natsu made a friend there in girl named Hikaru. The two of them played together everyday and Hikaru alone made it bearable for Natsu when she thought she might be stuck there forever. Then one day after almost a year Natsu woke up to find Koutu soldiers telling her she had to come with them. Since the orphanage was on the border of Konan and Kutou, and word had spread that she was some kind of demon, the Kutou army had stepped in. Taken from the place she had come to think of as home, and forced into a cage, hands and feet tied, she began to hate this world. However when they made it to the palace a few days later, just after they shoved her into a dungeon cell, Natsu found herself covered in the same strange red light. Then suddenly she was back in the library, back home! Excited Natsuko tried to get on with her life and forget that other world... but she couldn't forget Hikaru. It was on the first day of her second year in middle school, when she bumped into a first year that looked exactly like Hikaru. It turned out then that the girl actually was Hikaru and the two became close very quickly. After a year they began to plan a future to remain in the same schools and when Natsu became a freshmen in high school she asked Hikaru out. The girl's have been dating ever since, smitten with one another. Then one day to celebrate Hikaru joining Natsu at the same high school the two stopped by an antique shop and bought matching rainbow colored bracelets. Little did either girl know that those bracelets where from other world.... from the book, and that there journey there had not yet ended. It was the end of the school year and Natsuko was being pressed to look into which collage she would like to attend, however Natsu was neither as smart or as rich as Hikaru. She would never get into To-ho university like her love could and Hikaru seemed intent on attending whatever collage Natsu did. Having made a stop at the library, Natsu led Hikaru to a room in the back so they could talk. An argument broke out between them, the book Natu had seen when she was younger fell from the shelf, and both girl's were taken back into the world of the book, ending up separated in different countries.

Bio :: Juan grew up as the sixth Emperor of Konan. Unlike his first life, he was able to watch his father in command until he was 18 and was able to rightfully take the thrown. His father died shortly after from a sickness and now the man remains alone with his servants. Thankfully the Emporer had one guard that was his right hand man; his best friend since they were children, Tamahome. He grew up with this man and had asked him to become a guard for him.

Bio :: Kourin joined the bandits when Sien did. Her family was killed in the same attack but they didn't sell her since they figured they could make use of her incredible strength. The leader of the bandits took her specially under his wing and taught her how to use her strength for them and how to survive. When he was dying he originally wanted Kourin to take over but she refused. In the end however she helped Sien gain the title after he was wounded. She still remains by her friends side no matter what he has the bandits do. She has a bit of a crush on Sien.

Warrior Name :: Chichiri
Bio :: Ting was raised in a very respectable family. Her father owns and runs an inn and a resturant in a small town near the border. Her mother helped with the inn, cooking meals and cleaning the rooms. Ting has been helping her parents since she was able to walk and when she turned 12, a Nyan-nyan showed up at their inn and requested that Ting go with her to Mount Tykyoku. Ting couldn't refused and even though the goodbye was tough, she knew she'd be seeing her parents again and left.
On the mountain, she learned about her abilities and became a priestess that would in the future, help the Suzaku no mieko. Her training was just as intense as it was in her former life and she learned a lot. At the age of 17, her training was as finished as it could be and she left to wonder around and help those in need (and maybe bump into the Sukaku no mieko on her journey).

Bio :: Sien was just a child when his family was attacked and he was taken away by bandits. He learned their ways and learned how to fight. when he was 15, the leader of the bandits dead leaving them to fight for the title of "leader". Sien fought and ended up getting pretty badly injured, leaving a large scar from his left shoulder to his right waist. Ignoring the pain, the young man continued fighting and won the title.
over the few years, he has lead the group into a some of wealth and now only raid towns for the fun of it. ((i'll finish when i have Nuriko's bio))

Bio :: Ray grew up learning the ways of healing. his father was a doctor for a small town and took care of everyone in it. That was when he realized his calling. Ray started wondering the country of Konan and helping those that have been hurt in natural and unnatural disasters.

Bio :: When Hikaru was little, she was taken into the "Universe of the Four Gods". Only being the age of 9, this kind of mystified her as well as scare her. She wondered the lands until a woman found her and brought her into and orphanage on the border of Konan and Kutou where she lived for a year before being engulfed by the blue light that brought her. In the year she was there, she met and became friends with another girl about her age. they spent the days together and playing like little kids do.
After returning to her home in the real world, she was upset that she lost a very good friend but was also glad to be home with her loving parents. Hikaru was able to go through school with a little bit of trouble because of her disappearance but that changed when her parents helped her get into a middle school that was a bit of a drive but away from all the children she grew up with. There she met the girl she became friends with inside the book. the two hit it off right away, catching up with each other and all that had happened. They became best friends and then lovers, planning out their near future together and entering the same high school.

Bio :: A survivor of the Hin tribe who settled in land annexed by Kutou, Nakago experienced hate and derision at an early age, for his tribe were reviled by the people of Kutou. (The Hin are said to come from the far west, which means his people's origins may well be Sairou, even though Nakago himself was born in Kutou). Though Nakago is the only survivor of his settlement, it is unclear whether other Hin may exist (in slavery, or for example, in the far West).

When just a boy, he witnessed his mother being raped in the midst of his settlement being ransacked, and the sight is enough to draw his Seiryuu power out of him for the first time. Unable to control his immense psychic potential, he obliterated not only the surrounding Kutou guards but also his mother in the blast, and then sank into a dazed state, in which he was conveyed to Kutou's capital and Emperor. Throughout his childhood and early adulthood, Nakago was sexually abused by Kutou's Emperor and forced to accept not only the death of his mother but also his failure to save his best friend from Kutou's cruelty. As he grew older, he was trained as a soldier and eventually became Shogun to the Emperor of Kutou.

Nakago's wounds run deep, and for most of the time his loyalty is still to his dead people, for whom he wants to one day take his revenge. For this reason he is waiting, biding his time until the arrival of the Seiryuu no Miko so he can realise his plans and absolve his memories once and for all. Nakago's father is revealed in his novel as Gi Koyuu - the former Shogun of Kutou whom he both killed and displaced to take his current position of power. Nakago discovered too late that Koyuu was in fact his father and this killed the last shred of hope inside of him that perhaps one day he wouldn't be alone.

On account of his mixed blood, he does not seem to have been fully accepted by either Hin or native Kutou-jin, and even his fellow Hin are wary of him, with the exception of his friend Taria and his mother. For this reason he turns to Tenkou for support and to fire his thirst for revenge.

It is probably true that Soi is the only character who really understands Nakago, although she is unable to protect him from himself.

Bio :: Born in a lower to middle class home, Shika found out the terrible side of life through her parents' suffering as well as a bit of her own. around the age of 12, she was sold to a slave trader and never was to never see her parents again. Shika was bought and sold to several people over the years, being used as a maid, cook, and even an object of lust. When she turned 16, she learned of her abilities and would spend the only free time she had practicing how to use them. after several months of no sleep along with what her master at the time put her through, Shika was finally ready to get out of the place she was forced to call home. Her escape turned into a "mad killing spree". The young female killed her master and others before him. Her last murder was her parents. She stopped in making it seem like it was a blessing for her to be visiting them and when the time was right, she killed them, making them suffer greatly for what they did to her.
Since then, she has been traveling the countries killing those that push her the wrong way. Recently she has made her way back to Kutou trying to figure out way something seemed to be calling her there.

Bio :: Mahnan grew up in a normal middle class home. He found out about his unique ability to transform into a wolf at the age of 11. This gave him plenty of time to learn how to control the transformation so that he could live a somewhat normal life. Around the age of 15, he joined a group of traveling acters. He is now the 3rd oldest in this group and is suppose to be searching for an apprentice but instead has this urging desire to head to Kutou for an unknown reason.

Bio :: Raised in a war torn country he was taken by mercenaries, after the death of his family. He learned a lot about himself and his abilities from a young age. Currently he is a soldier in the Kotou Emperor's army, and though his rank is high, it's still no where near Nakago's.

((We'll be starting after the girls are already in "The Universe of the Four Gods". their argument will come out in the story.))

The blue light faded and Hikaru, on her knees, was now more shocked and confused than ever before. The second time this had happened to her, right in the middle of a fight too. She was taken before things were resolved. A sigh escaped her and she looked down at the sand below. A teardrop fell, catching her off guard and she reached a hand up to wipe her eyes. After a brief moment, she took a deep breath trying to remember all that she knew of this place. The orphanage, that's all that she remembered. she knew there was something before that, but it really had no significance to her memory. Another sigh came out and she looked around again.

Natsuko Tsuka

Natsuko blinked as she looked at the woods she was suddenly standing in the middle of.
"What the hell just happened?"
She didn't really understand. She had been in the library arguing with Hikaru one minute and the next... Oh god! Natsu remembered that light now. She remembered how she had ended up here once before when she had, as a child, grabbed a book off the shelf and began to read it. Great... now she was in this place again. Panic suddenly filled her. Where was Hikaru? What if she got tied up again for looking like a demon? Where exactly was she?
"Hikaru?" She yelled deciding it was far more important to find her girlfriend then to worry about herself at the moment.
"Hikaru where are you? Can you hear me?" She yelled again. This time she began to walk through the woods heading toward what she thought was a clearing. As Natsuko continued to call for her love and neared the open space within the tree's she realized it was actually a dirt road. Cautiously she stepped out on to the road and looked around trying to find signs of Hikaru. Seeing nothing she began to turn to go back into the woods when she felt someone grab her arm. Natsu turned quickly and her eyes widened as she saw two men leering at her.
"Well what have we here?" The man who had grabbed her arm asked and the second man laughed.
"We should take her to Sien." The second man then stated.
Natsu screamed and tried to pull her arm free. The man was stronger than she was and she wasn't exactly thinking clearly either, terrified that they were going to take her to that blue palace and kill her for being a demon like those men in armor and blut clothes had try to do before when she had been younger.

Walking through the forest that homed the famous Rekaku Bandits, Ting decided it was best to be in a male's body. Which didn't change too much, her entire journey had been in a male form. She, whome should be called a "he", walked quietly, watching his steps to make sure that he not step into a trap accidently. As he walked, he could hear a female calling for someone. It was faint, but he knew that if he run, he could get to the girl hopefully before anyone else did. He jumped into the trees and from branch to branch, going as fast as he could.
The "monk" got there just as two bandits grabbed the female's arm. He glared and then jumped down behind the bandits. standing up, his eyes narrow.
"leave her alone, she is with me," he stated in a masculine but still beautiful voice.

Shunkaku aka Suboshi


Shu sighed as he rode along with his brother back toward the palace. They were still a good two days ride or so away, but he wanted to get back quickly. Shu could feel it in his gut, something was going to happen... soon.
"Race you to the forest!" He called to his brother just as he took off on his horse at full speed. They had currently been traversing through some farm lands, and Shu was honestly starting to get sick at the sight of the same scenery over and over. However before he even made it half way to the forested area a head a strange bright blue light flickered for a second to the left of his vision.
"What was that?" He asked his brother, though Shu didn't really know if Ty had actually heard him or not. Shu once again took off, not waiting for his brother to answer, only this time he headed in the direction that the blue light had come from. It hadn't been very far away, so in a manner of minutes he was in that area. Slowing his horse down he looked around. Something, something important was here, he just knew it. Once again it was as if he could feel it in his gut. That's when Shu's emerald gaze landed on the form of a young woman. She was wearing strange clothes, like nothing he had ever seen in any of the countries he knew of. Who was she?
"Excuse me." Shu called out to the girl hopping off his horse as he did so. She seemed lost and confused, and his gut told him that she had to be the source of that blue light earlier.
"Are you all right, miss?"

Natsuko Tsuka


Natsuko felt sick at the mention of this Sien person. Whoever that was this couldn't be good. She tried to struggle harder to get out of the first man's grip but it didn't seem to work. Then there was a noise and a man jumped from the trees landing behind her captors. Terrified Natsu just stared at him with wide eyes. Was this the Sien person? Apparently not since as he stood he glared at the men and then stated very matter of factually that she, Natsuko Tsuka, was with him. The men seemed to look at each other for a moment as if uncertain what to do, and Natsuko was staring at this new guy like he had suddenly grown two heads. She couldn't really tell which would be worst, to have these guys leave her to the mercy of this new man, or to be dragged off to meet this Sien person. Neither idea really appealed to her to tell the truth.
"Fine!" The second man suddenly growled. The first let her go and glared at the man who had come to Natsu's rescue. Then both men took off into the trees heading upward. Natsuko watched them leave for a moment before she once again looked at the man who had saved her.
"Um thanx.. I guess." She stated softly. She was hoping he wouldn't try to grab her and drag her off now as well.
Feeling awkward Natsu pulled at the black zip up hoodie she wore, with a white ruffled top underneath. She was making sure it came down like it was supposed to, covering the thighs and butt of her dark denim capris. Natsuko was unsure if she could out run this strange guy even if she wanted too, so rather than fail epically while trying, she decided to wait and see his next move. Today she was wearing the sandals Hikaru had bought for her, since the two of them had originally been on a date before the whole library and fight thing had occurred. The sandals were 6" cone shaped platforms with rinestone embellished vamp straps in a black patent color. Yes... there was no way in hell she could out run him or anyone for that matter. She had barely been able to walk in these shoes two days ago.

Ty rode his horse quietly, debating on weither he should play his flute or not. It was all too silent and that's how it will be for the next two days. He took a deep breath but before he exhaled, his brother, Shu, decided to keep himself entertained by racing him. Ty smiled, watching his brother's horse run off, he then got his horse into gear and raced off after him. He caught up, coming on the right of his brother, not noticing the blue light. He heard his brother mumble something and start heading in another direction.
"Shu! where are you going?" he yelled out before turning his horse in the same direction and following his brother. He slowed down once he could see what was in the distance and stopped about half a football yard away. Ty didn't think it was a trap, but just incase, he stayed back so that he could help his brother and not be caught in the middle.

Hikaru heard a rather large object moving towards her and she looked up to see what it was. A horse? oh no, i'm going to be trampled! she thought. The girl quickly got up proceeding to run backwards before she realized the person was slowing down and tripped over a rock, falling on her butt.
"Ow," she said, feeling a little embarrassed. The boy walked over to her and she looked at him before remembering that she was wearing a short skirt and her legs were up. She put them down quickly and moved her skirt so that nothing would show. The boy then asked her a question and she looked up at him again. His green eyes worked like magic on her and she couldn't seem to look away.
"Well... I did just fall backwards after being taken from where i originally was. But I suppose you can say i'm alright," Hikaru answered. she then looked down at her dress and saw how dirty it had gotten. She sighed again and began to brush it off the best she could.

"No problem. you know, you shouldn't be wandering in these mountains by yourself. It's not safe for females," he said. He then smiled, "my name is Ti, I mean Chichiri. What's yours?" He started to walk, hoping that she would be smart enough to follow him to the village at least. He had taken in her beauty as well as her strange clothes. He was almost positive that this girl was the Suzaku no mieko.
He walked down the mountain, looking back every now and then to make sure she was following and doing alright in her strange shoes. In a few minutes, they were in a small town and Chichiri stopped in front of a small resturant type of place. He turned to his new companion asking, "Are you hungry?"

Shunkaku aka Suboshi


Shu smiled lightly, trying not to laugh when the girl fell over on her butt. He blushed slightly when he saw light blue material under the skirt of her dress and he looked away for a moment before returning his attention to her. As she answered his question he offered her his hand to help her up.
"You were... taken?" He asked looking around for a moment to see if there was any bandits or thugs hiding nearby. He hoped that she would elaborate on what exactly she meant and he smiled as he looked back at her. His emerald gaze locking with hers. Personally he felt drawn to her in a strange sort of way. She was beautiful, that was true, but it was in more than just a 'this girl is cute' sort of manner. He felt complete. Like she was a missing piece he had just recently found was missing. As he listened to her and watched her he could feel in his gut once again that she was the cause for the blue light... she then of course had to be something special!
"By the way my name is Shunkaku, but you may call me Shu or Suboshi if you like." Shu paused for a brief moment after he spoke. Why had he just told her his celestial warrior name? That wasn't like him at all! Not even hie Emperor knew that he was a celestial warrior.

Natsuko Tsuka


When the guy brushed off her thank you like what he did had been nothing Natsu smiled at him. It gave her hope that he wasn't weird or a perv or any of the things males normally were. So the mountains weren't safe for girls hmm....? Well then Natsuko was really grateful this guy had saved her, who knew what those other guys might have done to her then? Natsu shuddered slightly at the thought. She then looked at his face again when he introduced himself. She had realized her gaze had wandered down his front... she didn't like guys and certainly not in that way.... so what the heck had she been doing?!
"Uh... um... My name is Natsuko." She stammered quickly a slight blush touching her cheeks due to her wandering eyes. No this wasn't right she needed to think about Hikaru, the girl that she loved, not some random dude that came out of no where and saved her sorry ass! When she looked back to Chichiri she had noticed he'd started to walk, and fearful that those guys might come back with reinforcements she quickly began to follow him. The trip down the dirt road and to a village was short and silent... well aside from Natsu's occasional cursing under her breath as she nearly tripped a few times because of the terrain and her footwear, which she was still somewhat unaccustomed too. She silently cursed herself for wearing these shoes today... they would so be ruined by the time she got back... wait.. if she got back.
Natsuko paused a few paces behind Chichiri when he had stopped although, it wasn't because she had noticed him stopping, it was because her mind was now racing. She didn't know how or if she could ever get back home, and she didn't know anyone but Chichiri here. Even if she knew how to get to the orphanage she couldn't go back there. Her large blue eyes widened even more and she could feel tears threatening to come. Then Chichiri spoke and she blinked and looked up at him. He was standing in front of a small restaurant type of place and asking if she was hungry. Without thinking Natsuko nodded at him.
"Sure food would be great." She stated with a soft smile. Really she wasn't sure if she could eat or not, she just didn't want to be left alone. Suddenly afraid the only person she knew here would disappear she moved forward quickly, nearly tripping once more, and grabbed onto his sleeve. She normally wasn't a needy or clingy type of person but the thought of being in this world alone once more had made her act in a manner she normally wouldn't. Realizing what she had just done Natsu quickly released the fabric of his clothing and clasped her hands behind her back as she followed him to a table.
"Sorry..." She said weakly looking down at the table top as she sat a more obvious blush tinting her cheeks once again.

"Yes, I was taken, from my world and brought here... again," she replied. She took his hand and stood up, dusting the rest of the dirt off. Hikaru looked into his eyes again and felt her heart begin to race. "He... Hello Shu. I'm Hikaru," she said, that's when she noticed the other person on a horse a ways away. "Is.... he with you?" she asked.

Chichiri caught the girl with the arm of the sleeve she grabbed onto, then he smiled. "No need to apologize. I take it your shoes are giving you trouble?" He walked her in and pulled her chair out for her before sitting down himself. "Order whatever you like," he stated and then pulled a kasa seemingly out of nowhere. he reached in and pulled out a pair of shoes.

Natsuko Tsuka


When he asked if the shoes were giving her trouble she felt like an idiot. Hikaru had bought them for her, and though Natsu didn't know exactly why, she figured it was because these were the kind of shoes gorgeous models and sophisticated actresses wore. Natsu wanted to be an actress, she really did. She was already in a theater group outside of school and had already auditioned for a few minor parts in movies and T.V. shows. However she never really wore shoes like this. The fact that they had been a gift from Hikaru had made them very precious to her and she wouldn't trade them for the world... but at the moment a regular pair would be great to tell the truth.
She sat down in a lady like manner after he pulled the chair out for her but her eyes didn't leave the table as he sat himself.
"Yes they are hard to walk in... on the strange roads you have here." She informed Chichiri honestly, adding the last part so he wouldn't think her to be odd for wearing them.
She then looked up as a waitress came over and at his offer to order whatever she liked she ordered one of everything they had. Natsuko remembered the kind of food they had here as a child and she really did like it. Chinese food back home was similar but really not the same. The flavor was different like something was off, here though she could enjoy it once again, and she fully intended too.
After the lady took the orders Natsu turned her attention back to Chichiri just in time to watch him pull a kasa out of nowhere. Then as if the whole kasa thing hadn't been odd enough, he reached in... far more than he should have been able to and pulled out a pair of black slip-on flats. Natsuko's blue eyes were wide as he offered them to her, and for a moment all she could do was gawk at how odd the whole thing was. Was this guy some kind of magician or something? Maybe a wizard...? I mean heck if she as a child could be mistaken for a demon then why couldn't there be wizards?
"Well um.. Thank you." Natsu finally stated taking the shoes gratefully. She then went about quickly removing the shoes she was wearing and slipping the new ones on. Then she handed him her shoes. Natsu blushed slightly once more as she spoke.
"These... these shoes are very important to me." She told him trying to find the best way to say all this and not freak him out or make him abandon her alone in this place. "They were a gift from my... um... a friend."
Natsuko knew her finish was lame, but she worried that if she told this guy she had a girlfriend he would either up and leave or get all pervy. So far she enjoyed his company... maybe a little bit more than she should which was really kind of confusing. However regardless she didn't want to ruin it and she hoped this guy would just let her follow him where ever until she found a way to get back home. Just then the food arrived and Natsuko smiled as she looked at all of it.
"The food here in your world is really great!" She stated before realizing her mix up. "I.. uh... mean the food here... yes here the food here is really great!"
Once again she was blushing slightly. She hoped he wouldn't focus on her blunder or think she was strange... or some kind of demon... or something, and so to make sure he couldn't ask her what she might have meant Natsu began to eat.

Shunkaku aka Suboshi


Shu smiled as she took is hand and her words helped him confirm his thoughts. So there was something about her.... this girl was from another world! That meant she had to be the Seiryuu no miko! However that was also a little strange... didn't the appearance of the miko mean that the country was falling into ruin or on the brink of destruction? That's what he had heard anyway... but that wasn't the case right now. Sure the country was on edge and ready to do war with Konan but that was nothing new. The Emperor had always had an interest in Konan's lands for some reason or another, and there had been many wars and small battles before. However Shu would never say that his country was in danger of ruin or destruction. With the military strength they possessed if any country was in danger he'd think it would be Konan who would need a Suzaku no miko... unless... there already was a Suzaku no Miko... then they would certainly need a miko to counter that power and win the war.
Shu smiled even more broadly as she called his name his green eyes focused on her's. When she mentioned another person and looked past him Shu turned around to see his brother a good distance away and still on his horse.
"Ah that's my brother Ty." He told her. Then waved his brother over to them as he called out to him. "Hey Ty come here! This is Hikaru!"
Shu told his brother the last part with a large grin as he came closer to Shu and Hikaru.
