XD I had to work with that for a few days last month when I stayed with my aunt and uncle but other than that I haven't delt with it in at least a few years. I have a few things on my plate but really only two of them require me to post every day so I think I can add something else to the lot, since I'm on here so often... Haha!

I like that idea though, enough that it sparks a lot of ideas in my mind. We can go a lot of different ways with it, depending on if you would mind incorporating the religion of the times... having the clan we base this around be involved in ancient idol worship. But that's if you want to go more in a fantasy direction as opposed to a strictly historical path.

I really do love the interactions between the social hierarchies, specifically when emotions are stifled for the sake of custom.

My opinion is that it probably wasn't as strict. I've had the theory that the reason it's not cataloged is because of that, and that would surely upset more than enough "traditionalists".

Okay, so I decided I already wanted to buy you possible ideas already... before I do though I wanted to ask... what is your favorite aspect of the fuedal era? The culture? The history?

I for one am a fan in delving into the culture because the relationships that people had and how it was expected of you to act and those unspoken rules of conduct intrigue me a lot... along with the countless number of stories I have read involving war and stories of battle affecting villages.
