In the small rainy industrial town of Shibuya that is populated by a mix of humans and of animal/human hybrids know as the Altered. A group of high school students begin wondering about their future and the future of their town. A tense feeling of despair fills the town and a new face brings a new wonder to a high school group that will quickly become friends. The towns factory serves as the only source of stability in what is a slowly dying community stuck in their tradition and values. Polluted rain and mysterious illness ravage what was once a flourishing social hub. What changes, if any, will come to this industrial waste, who will accept or change their fate, and will this group of high schoolers escape or remain and wither away with their surroundings.
