Anything is acceptable as long as it is not overpowered. Think of a power that you wish your character to exhibit and start working on it, but to think ahead you will want to be coming up with an example as to how it works, because we will be expanding on that as also using it as a limiter for your character in the future. So basically, you can have any power you wish really, you just need to start thinking about where it comes from and how it works.

Feel free to use the City Folk NPC to have conversations and flesh out your character if you like. If you decide to go to the school you will meet up with a couple of guards at the gate so you will have to wait for a responds from me before you try to enter. (The academy is locked anyway, so even if you said your character went in you would be unable to post inside.) You could also try and meet up with some of the other player characters if you like as well.
