Emmi is childlike, boisterous and a total airhead. But despite all this, her hearts in the right place. She's generally kind, trusting and maybe even a bit too easy going when it comes to serious things. Because of this, she is easily taken advantage of and manipulated. But despite her challenges in life, she has always tried to stay positive. Emmi brings out the best in others, allowing their true colors to shine.

Unlike many others who attend Colville Academy, Emmi does not come from a wealthy home. Instead, she comes from a lower / middle class family. Her parents adopted her while she was still an infant, so in her eyes, her adoptive parents are her "true" parents. But at a young age, she came up with a plan. She would become a pop idol. This was a dream not very different than most girls her age, but unlike most girls, she never grew out of it. Not only did Emmi love singing and writing her own songs, she wanted to use the fame that came with being a pop idol to get her birth parents to  one day notice her on television and maybe even contact her.

Emmi always wished to go to Colville Academy, and knew the only way that would happen would be to receive a scholarship. And by some sheer stroke of luck (to this day, Emmi gives credit to the shooting star she made a wish on the previous night) she received a letter from Colville Academy, granting her a full term scholarship for her musical talent.

It is her first year at Colville, and Emmi wants nothing more than to make her mark as the up and coming idol she wishes to be! But surprisingly enough, the first thing to catch her eye is the Host Club!
