Eylee Marinis

A student diviner, snarky and a little haughty.

A human woman of twenty-two. Deeply tanned, with long, wavy red hair that she wears in a messy ponytail, and light-grey eyes set in a round, snub-nosed face. She's not so much "curvy" as "solid" in her build, stands a little under five and a half feet tall, and tends to dress in simple, loose-fitting clothes in shades of grey and blue. A design that looks a little like an eye and a little like a sun is tattooed in the middle of her forehead.

Eylee has a very dry sense of humor, and can be rather snarky and defensive when provoked - she likes to think of herself as sane, and sees that as something to be proud of in an environment like the school, let alone the chaos of the recent explosion. She likes to know things; moreover, she likes to know things that no one else knows, and she likes to show off that knowledge. If she doesn't understand what's going on and someone else does, she tends to resent them for it.

A diviner, or specialist in seeing things that are not obvious to the untrained eye - Eylee can, with effort, see things happening in the past and present with some reliability, and occasionally can get a glimpse of the future. She can also sometimes see through illusions and other magical deceptions, although this is almost entirely uncontrolled, and she isn't always aware of whether this ability is functioning.

Sent to the school as a small child, after her magical talent was discovered, Eylee's history is fairly uneventful. Well, as uneventful as anyone's, living in the tower.
