Synopsis
What do I do now?

Description

Race: Snow Leopard/Shape Shifter

Age: Looks around 18, but is actually about 3 and a half.

Height: 5'7”

Build: Slim, slightly muscular looking form, though it’s hard to tell with the clothes.

Hair: White with random black spots - she basically looks like she lost a bet with her hair dresser, and got a very bad bleach/dye job in return.

Eyes: Yellow with slit pupils.

Skin: Incredibly pale, nearly white.

Clothing: She tends to wear baggy, long clothes to cover most of her telling features, aside from her hair, eyes, and teeth. She hates wearing any colour other than white, and never wears anything on her feet.

Other: Longer than normal top and bottom canine teeth, as well as all of her nails being black and more like claws than normal nails. She has soft pads on her fingers/palms, and on bottoms of her feet. She also has leopard spots along her shoulders, down her upper arms and spine, over her hips, and down her outer thighs to her knees.

((I have a full picture of her human form that a friend drew for me, and I can post it if people would like to see. It's not exactly how I see her, but pretty close.))

Leopard form: Around average size for a snow leopard, being around 4’ long, with a 3’ long tail, though she looks bigger than that due to her incredibly thick fur. The only thing odd about her is that her fur is white, when snow leopards usually have it a light grey.

Personality
Lenna is more of the silent type, only speaking when she has to. This can make her come off as cold or stand-offish, but it’s actually because she is uncomfortable with her voice in human form – it comes out growly, like there is a constant rumble in her chest while she talks, because the magic used to allow her to take human form didn't work fully, and her voice box is still sort of feline. She is also unsure of many words, and what they mean, seeing as she had only ever been around the warlock before, and is truthfully only a little over a year old.  Instead, she uses a lot of hand gestures and body language to try to get her points across.

Lenna tries to remain calm in any situation, but easily turns feral when someone she cares about is threatened, whether she is in human or leopard form. She is fairly easy to calm down, as long as the threat is not real, but there is always a chance that she could do some damage before she returns to her right mind.

Also, because she was born a snow leopard and likes to spend most of her time as one, Lenna has no real concept of personal space. She will walk right up to someone and sniff them, to try to get more information about them, and not understand why they seem so uncomfortable. It isn’t normally that much of a problem when she is in leopard form, but when she looks human, it can get quite awkward.

Being more leopard than human, Lenna spends as much of her time high up in the trees, or on roofs, feeling more at home the higher up she is, seeing as she would be living in a high mountain range if she hadn’t been taken.

Equipment / Abilities
Lenna always keeps a one strap back pack with her, the kind that goes across the chest. She keeps it stocked with a change of clothes and a fully stocked medical kit, in case of emergencies, as well as several water bottles and dried/treated herbs for various purposes. She always leaves the strap just loose enough that if she shifts, it will still sit comfortably on her back.

Other than having the ability to shift into a large, mountain dwelling cat that can take down animals three times her size, Lenna has enhanced senses of hearing and smell, and though her eyesight isn’t as good as a normal person’s during the day, she can see fairly well at night. Her fangs and claws stay in her human form, and she has denser muscles than a human of her size, making her heavier than she looks, and able to handle more weight than many her size. The downside is that she isn’t as buoyant in water.

History
Lenna was captured as a small cub by a man, known as Finn, who claimed to be a warlock: a man who used nature to fuel spells. He had been looking for a familiar for quite some time, and finally decided that a carnivore of such reputation would be perfect. He was the one to cast the spell, making her able to take on human form, as well as the man who gave her a name:  “Lenna”, meaning “lion’s strength”, and “Whitefur”, because of her unusual colouring from the normally grey felines. This was so that they would be less inconspicuous when traveling through human settlements and cities.

Finn taught her only what she would need to know – in other words, just the basics of math and writing, and what English she would need to communicate. The only things that he taught her extensively in were herbalism, and the medical arts, for both humans and animals, as a just in case. He taught her how hide in plain sight when it came to humans, styling her hair so that her spots were hidden and making her nails look painted rather than like claws.

Then they came across a town in the middle of a mass witch hanging.

It was horrible, seeing so many innocent people being killed for no reason other than suspicion and fear. Lenna reacted without thinking, managing to save two young children before she was caught. Of course, Finn tried to save his familiar, and was killed just after freeing her. Fearing for her life, she followed her master’s last command, and ran, taking the two children – a young boy and girl - with her. She has been running ever since, stealing what she and the two children needed, trying to stay hidden, and sticking to forests when possible. When they came across Teelu, all three decided it was for the best that they settle down, even for a little while. They have been living there for almost 5 months now.
