Synopsis
Half-Elf Half Human, unique, exceptionally strong, master of magic and the first of his kind (allegedly)
Description
Cae'lan appears to be around 18-20, although his age is much higher. His hair is white most of the time, but changes depending on the magic he uses. His eyes are almost always a mixture of green and yellow, but again, they too change if he uses certain types of magic.
His skin color is a pale one, similar to his human companions of Kaldar, but his ears are pointed, like those of the Elves of Trae'von.
Personality
Cae'lan can take on many moods, from the subdued commander of many, to the most powerful magic user in the world, feared yet respected by almost everybody who knows of his past.
Yet on the inside Cae'lan is a very lonely middle aged halfling, who as of yet knows of no other like him. He apparently can't give any woman a child because of his unique heritage, but that doesn't stop him from trying.
Cae'lan is loyal to both crowns, those of the Elves and the humans, not to mention he is the commander in charge of the treaty of peace between the two. He oversee's trade and is personally responsible for the passing out parade for all new recruits, checking each and every persons for signs of dark and sinister magic.
Equipment / Abilities
Cae'lan's magic is one of a kind. It is a mixture of human taught, elf taught, and dark magic from the underworld. He can control all three, and if he chose, he could destroy the world, but his loyalty and upbringing means he would never do such a thing.
He is also a great warrior, preferring a bow or throwing daggers to the sword and shield, which he leaves to his favourite companions, Alexander, and Tanus. (see Character list)
History
Cae'lan is the half elf - half human child of Prince Alexander and Elf Princess Mae'ya. His back story is one full of secrets, controversy, magic, and court intrigue, but ultimately, he brought two nations together, starting a new age of equality, trading, and the end of dark magic, or so he thinks, thanks to the alleged defeat of the great sorcerer Aatos.
Before Cae'lan was born, his Mother and Father's people never knew of each others existence, until the great Dragon summoned a group of well established magicians and warriors to travel to the far continent and meet with their Queen, to learn a new magic. It was this meeting that lead to Cae'lan's birth. It was almost a century of bloodshed and wars against the dark sorcery from the underworld and their leader Aatos, before Cae'lan was old enough and confident in his own unique abilities.
He was not the first of his kind, nor will he be the last....
Extra
Cae'lans unique heritage means that he has aged much slower than his fellow human companions. This has made meeting "the one" difficult, especially as his whole life has been written for him through prophecy, and his parents are royalty.
He is loyal to the Crown of two nations, and is often found leading warriors and magicians alike, training new recruits, and is most often found by the side of his Father, Alexander, who by reasons unknown, was brought back from death as an immortal at the end of the great war with Aatos and the underworld.
Together Cae'lan and Immortal Prince Alexander, are an unbeatable team, and the world worships them as so. But what Cae'lan really desires, is a companion.
He is not shy when it comes to sexual advances, but his half-human half elf heritage means that he cannot give another woman a child, which makes love an almost impossible task since the war, where re-populating the two nations seems just as important as rebuilding it.
Cae'lan is a part of a big group of companions in a medieval fantasy setting i began writing myself, I'm happy to change some details or add him in to another setting but he will still be unique, and exceptionally strong, and most likely invite Alexander along, as together their powers are stronger.
