True. True, well perhaps I'll bring it back some then. Have her have a friendly conversation with Enris and then go on her merry business.

Sorry, I was super tired, I should have been more clear. xD Cas purposely "shot" her with an empty gun. I was sooooo tired when I wrote that. Let me edit it.

Bahaha, I just got on and haven't read up on the posts I've missed and I partly assumed I'd be checking back on a dead character x.x

---------- Post added at 10:48 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:42 AM ----------

Ah yes! Not only was that the best way to retort, but a great way to start up the gunner talk between the two since Deryn was intending on asking what she did on the ship anyway.

---------- Post added at 10:52 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:48 AM ----------

And Lumine never ceases to amaze me, if I ever ran into Barasa in the real world, I'd hug the timid little lamb.

Is it just me or does the way Innate are treated remind me of how mages are treated in Dragon Age?

---------- Post added at 05:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:24 PM ----------

... and Enris reminds me of Fenris. O.o because of the similarity between the two names not the personalities.

Indeed. I loved the post, Lumine, especially where Barasa got up and awkwardly walked towards the main table. <3

@Brook: It really varies. "Prejudice against Innates" isn't really written in the lore anywhere, except when it comes to elves. The tendency is for people in power to use them for their own purposes (ie slavery) and for people not in power to fear them. But it's more of a personal experience thing than a general rule. There is certainly no institutional hatred/discrimination/oppression targeted specifically towards Innates, but distrust/etc probably has a lot to do with how rural/urban a place is. Aside from Seboet, though, there's no big cage for mages.

Thanks Eden. :3 I'm sure all that... awkwardness will die down eventually x-x. Or not. Don't know at this point, the poor soul pretty much writes himself.

Sometimes I imagine the events of Ardent played out in extremely silly anime form.

I've imagined that for some other roleplays xD A little bit for Ardent, but I've found the ones I've been in longer are easier to imagine like that. But... tis awesome, tis awesome.

I kept thinking of Fort and Aleta dancing in their undies on the way home from work. >_>

So....tell us about some of your favorite RPs Lumine? xD

lol good god that's funny xD. I think the only anime-ish image I got was related to the elves spying on Barasa by hiding behind books >_> with holes in them for their eyes. x-x

...favourite RPs. x____x WELL, apart from the lovely Ardent xD, I'm absolutely stupid for Dystopian City which has been ongoing for almost two... years with a very close friend. (apart from the fact that she went and moved on me D;<) Basically a cyberpunk world focusing on street dwellers and homeless and gangs and scary people xD. I probably have about twenty different characters for it. x-x But it's slow goingg... Apart from that there's another I'm doing with the same person on paper... but seeing as she lives sixteen hours away it's on a standstill. xD

I have to admit that if I can't play out the scene smoothly in my head so that it's like I'm watching a movie, I have to rewrite it. It's gotta have that proper flow, and good visualizations. I have had my moments where I actually have been able to write scenes better (usually comical) if I think about how it would have gone in an anime.

I don't really associate Ardent with anime really so it doesn't happen too often, but it was especially easy to imagine when Cas burst out into hysterical laughter.

To be honest the reason I can imagine scenes playing out in my head (anime styled) or not, has a lot to do with the fact that I can draw them, or I can imagine them as a drawing.

xD If you ever do... I would probably suggest reading the prologue on Gaia... seeing as... well.... the word limit on here is ridiculously small so I was splitting up posts like stupid when I posted them into a 'File Storage/Journal' here. x-x

Anywayyyy I am going off gallavanting for the day so have a wonderful day Ardent!

Have fun Lumine, glad to hear you're in great spirits! xD

    Oh also!
I put Ardent in for the Recommend a Game thread. When it came to giving the summaries for it I just took from what the Overview has, seeing as I don't think I could word it any better, but I threw in my two cents about my opinion on it. ^_^

You all did a great job being great people, so my job was easy. xD I am trying to decide whether or not to make a post with Cas. I think it'd be pretty short, I think I'd rather wait until maybe Fort posts. Cas'd just be like, "yeah I'm awesome" then go back to being buzzed. Not the world's most fascinating post. xD

I was surprised that I liked it. o.o

It's official, Cas now collects tiny ceramic unicorns as a result of that scene being so epic. xD

    What would Barasa sing? :3

Hahaha I think many people were surprised they liked it xD. Always enjoyed those kind of films myself but people like... like my brother and step-dad actually liked it. Which is... insane.

    lol Cas <3

What would he sing? As in about his 'dream'? Probably... right now, about how he'd love to be on land again! xDBahahaha I dunno if he would sing xD, now that I think about it though, I can see him having a nice singing voice. Hmmm~

    ...

-plots terrible things to make Barasa sing-

okay, I don't have any ideas. xD Maybe before they arrive they need to all get drunk and sing together! Fort can go cry in the corner and wonder where he went wrong...

    Welcome to the next level!
