He was been followed by some girls who he been charmed by his looks, he never knew his popularity at Y.A would be like this. He was tired yelling at them to get away from him, eventually he got an idea to escape from this bitches by telling them and pointing at there side "oh the principal" as all girls would look behind them while Ayame is already running causing him to go down the exit path. "crap! no other choice I'll just have to go to the town" as he walk the long way path again wearing a red jacket while his both hands inside his pocket with a gloomy aura on his back.

She was walking with a sleepy face dragging a tiny side bag that got a pillow inside of it while her hair is messy kind of too many bed haired with many leaves on it. Walking on this path making her feels tired already even though she's an Inu that loves to walk or run free well she's not due to her barrier she got apnea and always feels tired. As she keeps trying to reach the school she noticed there's someone who looks a little bit gloomy walking down the path, so she just have to do her own way just walking until she can make it besides no one even likes to talk to her.

He was staring out of the blue until he saw Kirin Ichibana "Hell I'm good at remembering names." He never knew about this guy is a girl cause he never bothers him or even talk to him but one thing he knew that this guy is really extremely lazy, silent type bastard and cutting classes a lot, well yes he does that too but he never saw that idiot in the detention room once in awhile thinking maybe that bastard is really good at hiding. As he goes near him it's the first time for him seeing Kirin really up close he never thought this guy is really small it's like he got a feminine body as he do research on Kirin's body by looking at Kirin and smirk like an idiot. He starts to talk to himself again " Oh Satan thank you for giving me this wonderful body" as he look to Kirin again with a pity look. He got nothing to do at the town, he decided to company Kirin like making fun of him by talking pervert stuffs loudly to obviously hear him and then as he starts to read Kirin's mind as his widen. "it's blank...WTF!! have you even laid with that body of yours?" as he goes near him pointing at him. He felt ignored when Kirin walk pass by him, he was piss off as he went back at him and smacks him on the head "how dare you, you ignored me!! you bastard piece of shit!!" while looking down at him with the creepy face he got.

She saw the face of that person clearly and it was just Ayame the one who is making fun of the others when he is bored but when she notice Ayame is staring at her as if she was being check on she looks down. She heard him talking to himself and thanking a Satan but who cares she just think of him as an Idiot being to proud of himself. She just wants to reach at the top and go on with it but suddenly her eyes feels a little bit heavy, she knew she may end up falling down while Ayame is here she would never never falls down as she tries to wake herself up by shaking her head while Ayame blurting out pervert stuffs. She knew if she use her ability she may end up half way and also having a big bump on her forehead, if Ayame saw it..it will be doom for her. When Ayame suddenly pointing at her she just walks pass by him thinking if she will talk to him it will be a waste of time. She suddenly falls down when Ayame smack her head while she scratches her head "oww it hurts" as she felt her sleeping mode is fading away little by little due to the hard smack on her head. She sits up "sorry" as she looks at him with concern..."I never intend to ignored you.. It's just that my a-apnea.." as she felt her eyes is heavier again "even smacks on the head won't do" as she talks in a low tone of voice.

He felt something stab him when he saw Kirin's expression, he felt guilty letting her apologize and mumbles "damn what the fuck I'm thinking" as he look at him again "sorry..." for the first time he apologize to someone, he doesn't care about the others even when he hurt them but when it comes to Kirin he don't know why he seems really felt like apologizing. "ohh great.. now forget the apologizing stuffs just to be fair" he goes in front of the way and kneel down " have you ever heard a piggy back? you just have to wrap your arms around my neck....err" he scratches his head again and looks at the path " damn of course you knew that" as he laughs in an idiotic way. He keeps silent to wait for Kirin's accepting his offer, as he told him again while still looking at the path way " Don't you dare reject my offer" He knew he never done this before to someone else, he just think of it as a fairly deal.Maybe he will reject it but he will look out for him if he fell down on the way, as he keeps thinking that while waiting for Kirin.

Youya was walking in the academy's grounds to get some fresh air after being cooped up in the Student's Council's room all day sorting out some files. It was a normal day, boring even. He sat on a bench and closed his eyes, mentally rereading a book he had read 2 years ago. The wind was cool against his neck and he almost drifted off into slumber when he heard a voice breaking into the silence. It was Ayame Kanzai, the academy's idolic troublemaker. He was spouting some perverted nonsense which perked Youya's interest. Not in what he was saying though, but the idiocratic way he was saying it. He sat quietly, amused as he watched the scene unraveling infront of him.
Ayame was speaking with Kirin Ichibana.

Kirin Ichibana. Youya was the one appointed to her when she first came to the academy. He frowned when he found out she was assigned in the boy's dorm but said nothing about it, thinking things just might get more interesting that way.
He finally stood up as he saw Ayame kneeling down in front of the girl, offering for her to get on. He made his way to them and smirked slightly as he towered over Ayame.

"Ayame Kanzai," he mused. "My, my. This is an interesting sight."

he was waiting for Kirin to get over with him but all of a sudden the most annoying person is now in front of him."what an interesting hobby you got there Youya Toda eavesdropping people makes me wonder why the hell they even choose you as the president" he sit on the ground as he shakes his head "no wonder school is boring due to this stupid book worm right Kirin?" as he looks at Youya "do your best for becoming a wall there, well your good at following orders right?" he smirks insultingly.He is having fun now by seeing Youya here even though he annoys him, besides the bitches who been following him all day.

"Why they made me president you ask? Maybe it's because I can make a remark without sounding like a kindergartener." Youya replied dryly.
He thought being the rebel that he is, Ayame would've attempted a more intellectually stimulating argument. Sighing gravely, he mocked his head as he tsked disapprovingly.

"Kirin, are you okay? How about if I assist you to see Miss Kanako? I'm sure you don't want to bother Ayame here any longer, would you?"

He smiled to Ayame. "I'll be glad to take him off your shoulders for now, Ayame. And yes, I can see he hasn't accepted your offer yet eventhough you've been sitting there for a while now," he added snidely. "I meant that figuratively."

She was really was shock when she heard Ayame apologizing to her and when he goes in front of her giving her an offer to ride on his back. When she was about to reject the offer she saw the student council president Youya Toda was now in front of Ayame, she heard about some rumors that they don't get along well. She starts to getting up quickly while she has still have a chance to go away with those two.Soon as she was going to take the forest path she freaks out when she heard Ayame dragging her name into it. She don't know what to do and the worst case scenario is that her apnea is now starting to begin. She knew if she takes the offer of the president, they may end up a war making it a new ERA for a WORLD WAR II but as she seeing things, they really are starting to fight there's really a thunder in front of them it's like a water and a fire. She starts to scratch her head as she goes in front of them and bows "thank y-you for the off...Apnea" as she pass out bumping her forehead on the ground"

Youya noticed how Kirin's face paled and how her eyes were drooping. As the president, he was informed of Kirin's apnea and in no time pieced the puzzle together. So, when Kirin suddenly collapsed, although a bit too late, he managed to catch her and save her from a more critical impact from the concrete.

"Listen here, Ayame. You and I both know we hate each other's guts but for 10 minutes from now, I'm going to forget about that and you need to help me get he-him to see Miss Kanako." Youya looked sharply to Ayame and held out his right hand. "Truce?"

"hah kindergarten?" as he burst out laughing "well at least I'm not an old grandpa" as he get up with a serious expression looking at him.When Youya ignored him and walk pass by him, he was really going to punch this bastard until Youya began to talk with Kirin, he then notice that Kirin is already beside them.He was about to ask her if she's alright, but that bastard Youya steal his role again. He just keep silent as he look at Kirin with a worried expression. He stares at her blankly and was been interrupted by Youya Toda again, asking him to take his place..He was about to say he can handle everything but when he saw Kirin bows at them and as soon as she was going to fall Youya is the one who manage to catch her. He felt worthless that time but even so it's still Youya's fault as he think about it. He suddenly thought about the thing he said about the apnea he got and begun to snap out of his taught when he heard Youya is calling for him. He starts to go near them and smile insultingly at Youya as he carry Kirin gently but he was really shock the he was not heavy at all but he forget about it soon, the more important thing is Kirin. He heard Youya about forgetting the thing happen today and say it's a truce, "yah truce" as he agree by giving him an elbow and of course you are still defeated though as he laughs idiotic again "I'll be the one carrying him, he's not even heavy at all and of course the only thing you can carry is a book" as he laughs at his own joke while walking "You should be walking beside me Mr.President , I don't want girls coming at me again ...after all I'm a good looking man and I don't want to ruin my face.."

Youya ignored Ayame's elbow and knew not to be offended by his childishness. He allowed Ayame to carry Kirin eventhough Youya could easily prove to him that, no, books are not the only things he's capable of carrying.
Just as he finished that thought, his mind wandered to that night a year ago.

Youya's face was drenched in cold sweat. Traffic was loud, deafening his ears but he ignored the noise. What's important now was to keep her safe. Gently, he lifted the large silver metal that was laid on the bloody ground. With his strength, it was not a difficult task but the car's skin was hot from the heated engine and it was sticking and burning the skin of his beloved. 'No... No.' he whispered quietly to no one. Cold rain washed his face, mixing with the warm tears that had flowed from his eyes.

Youya was shaken from his reverie when he heard Ayame's voice calling to him. The dark haired demon was boasting about his popularity. Youya snorted in retort but took his place beside him anyway, his moon colored eyes already eyeing the numerous of girls starting to crowd around them. But seeing him, no one dared to come closer. No one fools around infront of the president, anyway.
Well, except Ayame. Maybe that's why Youya likes to mess with him so much.

"Your remarks are getting better. Maybe there is some wit in that hollow head of yours after all." Youya couldn't resist his comment eventhough they had just agreed on a truce not too long ago. But, hey, he started it. "The infirmary's not that far. But, man, I just hope that woman still keeps the potions I gave her last week. Usually she just throws them in the bin, saying they're too boring for her style."

As usual he notice all the students are afraid of Youya but as he look at him he noticed that there something bothering him he don't know but he don't really want to read Youya's mind, if he does he may end up at the coffin. "never thought that you already knew the nurse we got here, I heard some students are afraid of her and they say she's a weird person,we may end up being a frog " he sigh as he went inside the infirmary by opening the door, by his foot he put down Kirin on the bed gently as he search for the nurse "dude no nurse here, your freaking mom is missing" laughingly

"Guess she's out buying ingredients again," Youya sighed, remembering the nurse's demands for supplies for her experiments. He walked around the room and looked into the cupboards. There were different shapes of glass phials, each labelled with a scrawny handwriting. "Herbicides... Anti-boils..." he listed.

After a few moments, he let out another annoyed sigh. "This woman, really..."
He motioned to Ayame towards the trashbin next to the bed where Kirin is laying.

"Try there. I put it in plastic bottles so it won't break. There was one for apnea that was supplied because of Kirin's condition not so long ago."

When Youya Toda keeps blabbing and blabbing about the potions, he was already laying on the other side of the bed. "it's creepy that picture" as he point out the picture frame on the wall "it looks like you, grandpa" as he laughs again..."oh Satan this is really fucking funny" he sit up when Toda pointed at the bin " hell no not gonna happen dude not going to touch that, what if I died with potions out there and also touching the things inside the bin it's your job right?" as he burst out laughing while he getting up and gets the pen on the desk "hey why don't we scribble on Kirin's face first?"

Youya rolled his eyes. "Never tagged you for a wuss. Afraid of a little dirt." He folded his sleeves and started towards the bin. He opened the lid and wasn't too surprised to see the orange coloured plastic tubes he had used to keep the potions inside, glad he had taken lessons from his previous experience dealing with the eccentric nurse. Ignoring Ayame's suggestion to scribble on Kirin's face, he knelt beside the bin and dug his hands inside. As he was in the process of retrieving the potions, he spoke quietly without turning around, "Draw a black eye on him for me, will you?"

After he had retrieved all the potions, making a mental note to keep the potions in his possession in case it was ever needed again, he held out the one for apnea to Ayame. "Your turn."

She was walking down the hallway like a catwalk but that's the way she walks as her sandals making noises but giving her a lot of more figured body, while all the students are running away from her " ohhh why would they run away from me" as she giggles she already knew they're really afraid of her but when shes about to go to the lab hallway she heard noises she knew it was inside the infirmary so she followed the noise happily and she was right it was in the infirmary "ohh who could be my next tester today...it's already a long time ago about the student who turn blue, God I was watching too much avatar" as she mumbles while she giggles a little bit. When she opens the infirmary door she saw Youya again holding the potion she already throw and yells as she stomp her feet " YOUYA!!!" as she went inside and goes near to Youya as she pinch his ear. "didn't i already told you, don't use that potion it don't do anything" as she gets the potion Youya is holding and throw it outside by the window.

He laughs looking at Youya while getting the potion inside the bin as he starts scribbling Kirin's face but when he saw Kirin's face he just suddenly stop as he noticed that he got a feminine face. He shakes his head while looking at Youya who is now talking to him "my turn?" what do you mea__" as he saw the nurse went inside and now throwing tantrum at Youya, he saw that the nurse is really hot why he didn't notice it until now. He keeps staring at her but when the nurse pinch Toda's ears he was like "damn you're good" he start to watch the two, it's really fun for him seeing Youya in pain.."maybe I should buy a popcorn" as he mumble.

Youya started at the sound of the door opening, and seeing Kanako's face made him feel like a thief caught in the act. That moment of surprise allowed him to be grabbed by the ear and was what cost him his potions. Youya grunted in frustration and released himself from the nurse's hold. "You old hag..." he started but catches himself. He was never one to be rude to elders. And Kanako was the oldest person he knew. He saw Ayame checking her out and snickering to himself. He wondered how Ayame would feel if he knew her real age. The thought made his lips twist into a smirk.

"So what do you have for him then?" Youya motioned towards Kirin on the bed. Eventhough she was known for her hazardous potions, Youya knew all in all Kanako was a good nurse and potions brewer.
"And it's apnea. Not face boils, if you're wondering."

She just needed to be supervised to make sure she doesn't try anything funny.

"didn't I told you if you touch my potion again you will be getting a pinch and also it was mine now, even though it was basically yours but you already gave it to me so it is now a property of Kanako Rei. Which means anything she does to the potion is fine but if a student like you touch it without my permission, will get a punishment right?" she stops talking while her expression change as her right hand raises and shakes it "how rude calling me an old hag, umm but a grandma should be more fit" as she pouts while she notice someone new to her eyes and looks at him "hello there Mr.??? ummm red jacket guy" and giggles. She went to look Kirin "ohh Kirin-chan" as she puts a blanket on her while she look at Toda "she need rest, she got apnea due to her barrier but soon she will be alive and kicking again, don't worry Toda-kun and you Red-kun, she will be alright" as she look at her shelves the potions she just made and didn't test it yet "umm do you want to drink?" as she smiles gently at them with an innocent face she got

Knowing exactly what her plan was, Youya intended to warn Ayame about them before he realized, this was Ayame they were talking about. He smirked and held up his hands in an apologetic pose.
"Sorry, Kana-san. I just finished the feast for the councils."

He tilted his head to the side and pretended to scrutinize the potion, "Is that..." he said in a mock awed tone, "Damn, that's the drink you made me last time isn't it? Man, that was delicious. Hey, Ayame. You better try this. It's to die for."

The 10 minute truce was up anyway.

"ohh i thought you don't like that, you keep vomiting for how many times right?" she's too honest even though she may be heard by Ayame until she look at him with a sad face she knew Toda would never reject her if her expression is like that. She likes Toda a lot for her subject due to that time when she let her drink a potion but he got away from the illness for how many weeks though "Toda-kun" with a teary eye...
"just a tiny bitsy sip?

She felt she was on the bed, maybe the president brought her here she knew it was the infirmary due to the smell and noise she heard coming from Kanako-san. She wakes up and gets up slowly as she notice it was Ayame on her side while Toda and Kanako-san is having a conversation. She never knew Ayame would be here also but anyway she starts to worry when she knew Kanako-san letting the president drink her new made up potion again, to distract her she starts to talk well she need to thank thim and show some respect for not letting her sleep on the middle of the path outside the school "ummm t-thank you for bringing me here Student Council President and Also Kanzai-kun, I'm okay now" as she look at Kanako-san "thank you for taking care of me again" as she smiles at them "umm aren't you busy mr. president?" as she tilt her head while looking at him giving him a look that this is the chance to excuse his self...

He was shock when he saw Youya disrespect a school nurse but when time passes by he notice that the two of them are get along well, he seems out of place when they both talking. "err wait..what?" as he heard them talking the grandma thing? but he suddenly remembers when the principal told him about the stuffs here as he begun to believe that this nurse is a human but her age is on hundreds by now.He snap out of the thought when Kanako-san greet him as he was about to introduce himself to her, he heard her calling him a nickname, he smirk thinking that it's kind of cute for a grandma to talk like this. When Kanako-sans offer them a drink his about to accept it and by that he can introduced his self again even though it's a bit late. But when he saw Youya's action he knew there something fishy is going on, he just have to reject it and told Kanako-san "sorry I was been assign to look out for Kirin, but I think Youya Toda is free he can company you" as he smirk "and by the way my name is Ayame Kanzai block C, a classmate of Kirin"

He was happy when he heard Kirin's voice as he look at him. "did you forgot already the thing I told you awhile ago that it's to be fair right?, you don't have to thank me and that Book Worm guy, by the way his not the one who carried you,he was just here for his antidote"

Youya Toda is a sucker for teary women. But at the same time, he knew enough to know that 'a tiny bitsy sip' would send him straight back here for a very, very long time. And there wasn't even a vacant bed. He looked longingly to the door he had stepped into a while ago. But looking into Kanako's eyes, he knew he didn't stand a chance against her pleading silvers. As he held out his hand to take the poison, he heard a voice coming from behind him.
Kirin had woken up and was thanking him for his assistance. She gave him a look that said he could escape now. She had seen him drown in one of Kanako's potions before and it wasn't a pretty sight.
After she was finished, Ayame continued with his narcissistic speech. Youya wanted nothing more in the world than to get out of the room at that very moment. But something in Ayame's words and tone made him stay.

"I've been wondering for a while now. That's a very nice thing you've been doing for him, Ayame. And for as long as I can remember, nice was never in your vocabulary. Neither was fair. I recall you saying you'd rather dig your head in the ground than saying a single flattery to another being. What caused the change?"

Youya's eyes traveled in a deliberate manner to Kirin as he smiled mockingly. "Or should I say, who caused the change?"

"Done and done!" said Natsumi in relief after finishing her Chemistry report which was due next week. "Youya-kun, let's go for lunch. I'm starving. I heard there's a new restaur-" She said while turned around and only to find that Youya was no longer in the room. Darn it, I must be too focus to notice he's gone, she thought. She gathered up her stuff and walked out of the room. Wondering where Youya is, she looked around in her classroom maybe she would be lucky enough to find him there.

"Have you seen Youya?" she asked a group of student. "We saw him in the infirmary with Ayame, just now." they replied. With that, she thanked them and off to the infirmary.

As she walked there, she could hear Ayame's loud voice from outside. Just when she saw Youya, she surprised Youya by jumping onto his back and laughed, "Youyaaaa-kunnnnn!"

Youya stumbled backwards slightly due to Natsumi's sudden hold. He straightened himself with her still entangled to his back. He turned his head and smiled at her.
"So you're done with your work, Natsumi? I'm sorry I didn't wait for you back there but you seemed to be engaged with your work so I didn't want to disturb you. Now, then, how about if we go get some snacks?"

Youya looked back to Ayame, deciding to leave his inquiry earlier hanging in the air. Something to leave Ayame to contemplate upon. If he's lucky, maybe that question would mess up with Ayame's head, knowing he held an attraction to someone he thought to be a guy. Youya smiled as he played with the thought.

Still carrying Natsumi, Youya headed to exit the room but paused to glance at the remaining occupants.
"Coming?"

She grinned at Youya and said, "Well, you could have told me before you went off. What if someone came and kidnap me?" She made a fake frown and hopped off Youya's back. "You know you have to treat me, right?"

She noticed that Kirin was on the bed and was about to zone off. Must be apnea again, she thought. Then, she looked back to Youya as he offered Ayame to come and join them for lunch. Ayame looked quite confuse like he was thinking about something. "Are you coming or not, Ayame? It's Youya's treat." she said, trying to snap him out from his thoughts.

She nodded when Ayame ask her if she’s alright, she never knew Ayame would ask those thing as she thinks that maybe Ms. Kanako make him drunk some potion again that will make Ayame a good guy. As her thoughts stops when Ayame strikes again with the President, but when the president strikes back she saw Ayame being confuse it’s quite funny for her cause it’s the first time seeing him act like that.But she agreed while nodding her head that Ayame is really different this day.She heard someone’s coming as her thought is correct while someone just jumps in “it’s the vice president” as she mumbles and bows to show some respect. She saw how the two of them get along so much that she may believe the rumors are true that the president and the vice president are lovers. As she looking at them happily, she stops smiling when she heard the offer and acts sleepy as she reject it so the two of them would have a great time as long as Ayame & Ms. Kanako won’t join them “ohh I’m sorry I feel my apnea is coming back at me again” as she prepares her pillow again.

Youya smiled when he had heard Kirin's answer. He could clearly see that although Kirin was narrowing her eyes, the tiredness had gone from her face and her cheeks had gained back color compared to before.
"Nice try. I know for a fact that your apnea is subdued at the moment."

He strode back into the room and carried her over his shoulder. "Come on, Kirin, you're coming with me. Minako-san told me she hasn't seen you at the Cafeteria since yesterday. I bet you hadn't had anything to bite the whole day."
Before anyone could stop him, he walked out the door and headed to the cafeteria.
