Giving him a firm nod, she offered a sheepish smile. "Yeah, I'm positive it's this one. If not, feel free to yell." Glancing over to the door, she was glad they hadn't started yelling at them. Maybe it was due to the lack of time they had to Really react. "I'm sure it's this one." Nodding to herself in reassurance, she offered a smile to David, motioning for him to do his thing.
David smiled and backed up a bit, doing the same thing to this door as he did to the other. He pushed open the door, noting that no one was inside, and looked back to the girl. "Here you go. Oh, by the way. I'm David!" He smiled and offered a hand for her to shake.
"I love you, Sasha."
At this, Sasha's heart was filled with an emotion she couldn't describe. It was the same as she'd felt in the restaurant, only stronger.
And then he kissed her.
Having never been in a romantic situation before, she had no odea what to do.Sasha had always focused more on keeping people away from her, and she'd pretty much never developed feelings for anyone else either. To be honest, this was her first kiss. Pathetic, huh?
Sasha's mind spun as she scrambled to do something. Should she kiss back? Hug him? What should she do? The caramel haired girl finally decided on kissing him back, which she attempted to do as best she could.
Grinning she moved closer once the door was unlocked. Kira shook his hand at the introduction before hugging him quickly in thanks. "Thank you~" Letting him go, she smirked, nodding. Maybe she should've, asked before giving the guy a hug, but it was natural for her. "I'm Kira. Thanks again." Moving in the room, she went to the table to retrieve her purse. "How' you learn that, anyway? You also magical?"
David was a bit surprised by the sudden hug, but smiled and hugged her back. "Er.. Don't mention it, it wasn't that big of a deal... And Kira is a nice name," he replied as he watched her get her purse. "Magic? No.. I don't use magic at all. I've just trained in many different kinds of things all my life. I've traveled all over, trying to find new people to challenge so I can get stronger. I heard stories about a school filled with magic users and real strong people, so I went looking, and here I am." He chuckled. "I'm not really a part of them at all." He looked down, remembering his thoughts from earlier and frowning.
The kiss lasted longer then he realized, and eventually, he pulled away so that they could take a breather. Once the kiss was over, Enzo had returned to his normal self automatically. He was much more calm now that he had gotten his feelings across. He led her over to the second bed that was in the hotel room, being as how the first one fell through a portal. He would have to pay for that some time in the future.
"Stay one night with me." He thought this was the next step in a relationship. He saw it in movies, why wouldn't it be the same in real life? "I.. want to see what it's like.."
Somewhere in the room, Kenji's attention shifted over to Enzo. He was in a well hidden spot in the wall. "Really, Enzo?" He whispered quietly.
Checking to make sure everything was in there, Kira glanced back at him, taking her keys out. "Oh? So you're not a user. That's impressive. Then again, you'd need that sort of skill.. Seems you get attacked more than half the time. Do you know any of them personally? Or, just tagged along?" One glance at him almost made her regret her question. "Well, you seem to get along with Marcus, at least."
David shrugged at her, stepping out of the room and into the hall. "I know most of them. One of them I used to know a long time ago, and she's great, but.." He shook his head. "I don't think you'd want to hear that whole story." He looked back to her, smiling. "And yeah, Marcus is a cool guy. He was the first person I met back at the school." He took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes, sighing more. "So, where are you heading off to?" he asked, putting his glasses back on and stuffing his hands in his pockets. To be honest, he didn't have anywhere to be, and he really doubted anyone else wanted him around. He didn't really want to be alone, either. Maybe he could be her body guard for the day or something, he thought to himself.
Kira almost chuckled, nodding at what he said. "Let me guess, you hadn't seen each other in a while, and now it's odd seeing her or something?" She asked, slightly teasing as she moved out of the room. "I'm heading out to, some place. Not sure quite yet. Most likely going to get food, I'm starving." Having been unable to eat earlier, her hunger was getting the best of her. Harley was probably at one of the usual spots. Still not having received a message from her friend, she almost sighed. Well, it hasn't been too long. "You hungry?"
"U-Uh.. K-Kinda.." Odd? Only a bit, seeing her with her boyfriend and all. He scratched his head, listening to her response. "Am I hungry? Man, if you knew me, you'd know I'm always hungry..." he explained, giving her a goofy grin.
"Kinda?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. Maybe something else. At least it wasn't a flat out no. Smirking at his response to her food question, Kira motioned for him to follow her. "Then let me treat you to some food. We may be joined by another but, still. Compensation for helping me out." It was the least she could do for having David break down doors and help with those things earlier. "If you want."
David followed her as she offered to treat him to some food. "Well, I eat a lot.. I dunno if you'd really want to pay for all that." He didn't mind the idea of being joined by someone else, either. Maybe that's exactly what he needed, some time with some normal people. Some non-magic users. "And really, it's no big deal. All in a days work." He smirked, putting his hands behind his head.
So- this guy was insane. That was easily deduced given JD’s aptitude to measure crazy with ease. Yet what he had said about Voltaire and Silver’s father had shut the boy up with ease- he just couldn’t believe what was spouting out of Haimon’s lips. Was Voltaire truly dead? Those eyes narrowed at the thought of it, and he had to force back all the emotions that roiled through him as they would very much so cause him to lose his powers. Yet he couldn’t help but figure that is why Eos had felt so in pain.
“Yes the metal will be a bloody problem,” JD remarked crassly and smiled. He had the advantage in a sword fight that was for sure. Of course what Haimon did next made him pause. What the hell was that? More so- now it was between Haimon and himself- so there was no going forward without taking this thing down. Ah well- JD figured- it was made of blood. “I appreciate you being my test subjects. Who talks like that? Comic book villains- that is bloody who.” That is when JD took the offensive and nabbed one of the loungers from beside them and whipped it at Haimon’s little blood doll- before following after the flying furniture hopefully finish destroying that weird sanguine puppet and inevitably laying a mean smack down on Haimon himself.
She blushed fiercely. Stay one nigh with Enzo?! What could the guy be thinking? Sasha scrambled to find words to respond, "U-uh...Y-y-" Finally, she gave up, nodding instead of answering, "I-it's not like I want to stay here with...with you..I'm just...too lazy..to go back to my own room...yeah."
A pretty lame excuse, considering that her room was next door.
Enzo grinned. This would most likely be their last sane night before something bad would happen. He didn't know where the rest of the guardians were, all he knew was that they were in the hotel somewhere. But for once, he wasn't worried about them. All he could think about was Sasha, and the fact that he had kissed the Russian tiger. Unlikely, right?
He took a moment to realize the window was still broken, and the door's hinges were barely on. He shivered as the night breeze entered the room. "Ugh, How am I going to pay for that?" He frowned, and looked back to Sasha.
"So d-does this mean we're b..boyfriend and girlfriend?" He followed it with a nervous laugh. "I hope so."
The being had no issue with the chair being thrown; it swallowed it right up. It's mouth expanded and the chair literally flew right into it. "JD, wait!" Silver tried to stop him, but it was too late. He didn't even realize he was fighting an illusion. But it wasn't just any illusion; if you can see it, that means you are fooled by it, and therefor it is real. Haimon had some strange power given to him by Darkness that made his illusions real, but Haimon never knew that it was only if you were tricked by them. Silver didn't see the large being at all, due to her knowing his illusions and how they worked. She thought, maybe she could create an illusion to show JD that his illusion wasn't real. She closed her eyes briefly before trying to do so, causing the giant beast made out of blood to simply collapse into a puddle of strange goo.
Haimon sighed. "Why must you ruin my fun, Silver?" She opened her eyes, only to see Haimon in front of her, his sword raised above his head. She reached down quickly, jumping to her bag not too far away, and pulled out one of her swords just in time to stop his sword from hitting her. He was stronger than the last time they sparred, but she was too. "Oh? You're resisting this time. Good, maybe you do have a backbone after all."
She snorted, "Idiot, I'll pay it for you. S'not like y'did it on purpose," said Sasha.
Hearing his next question sent the girl into another blushing frenzy, "Wh-wh-what do you think, idiot?" she said, sideglancing at him, "...I even let you k-kiss me, geez."
Marcus was in one of his typical day-dreamy trances again. This time, he supposed, was because of the beautiful woman in his arms. "Heh, I guess were both kind of helpless right now." There was a bitter sweet smile on his face as he put her arm around his neck to try and hoist her up. It worked, but not without tremendous pain shooting through his entire body, making his vision blur and his head spin. "Ines, the students are in a lot of danger. I think our best bet at this time is to try to get them all together and get them back to the school. We already have one casualty on our hands, we can't afford another." The smile had faded into a solemn frown. He really didn't have much of a plan, and seeing Ines' inability to cope with stress matched with his state of weakness was going to make the task incredibly difficult to pull off. Looking at her and shaking his head, he pulled the list of phone numbers from his pocket. "Here, your job will be to call up as many students as you can, and get them to meet in my room, 132. I will try to round up whomever is here. You can exclude one number however, Maya Morrison...she won't be going back with us. Not without a casket at least..." Handing her the list of numbers, he gave her a quick comforting hug and started to drag himself down the hallway, towards Enzo's room.
"I suppose that was a stupid question." His head shrunk into his shoulders. "It's just... that was my first kiss." He figured it was embarrassing, and quite pathetic to her, so he avoided eye contact.
"It's my first.. everything, really."
One moment JD was hauling himself in a volatile rage towards a creature made of blood, and then next thing he knew the entire scene was altered. Haimon was attacking Silver, and she was defending herself thusly. Had it been an illusion? Right- if Haimon knew Silver, and they were truly as intertwined as she had mentioned then it was no surprise that the man would use illusions too. He made a mental note not to fall for anything else- to even make sure that Haimon was really where he was. To do that he would have to watch Silver as she seemed to not be as easily deceived as he was. She seemed to be engaging him now- which led JD to run up behind Haimon and attempt to throw a swift punch to the center of the other's back.
Seeing Enzo shrink pathetically sent a pang of guilt into Sasha's heart. She sighed, "Th'hell am I gonna do with you, Enzo?" she said, snorting a little bit, "That was my first kiss too, idiot. First everything, same as you."
Ines nodded, standing up. "That...that would be a good idea," she replied, stiffening a bit at the mention of Maya, "...I didn't know that she had died..."
No matter. Now was not the time to mourn the death of students, it was the time to protect the students who were alive. Ines gasped a little at the sensation of being hugged by Marcus, but soon got over it, "Be careful!" she called out to her fellow teacher before beginning to walk the opposite direction with the list.
Closing her eyes, she nuzzled her face into his hand. "Being the strongest isn't everything, you know..." Her voice was beginning to calm but still had a tremble to it. She nodded, knowing that they needed to move fast, but there was no way Volitaire was going anywhere in a condition like this. "Please, wait... let me try one more time..." She watched him rise up, wincing at the sight of him in so much pain. Without hesitation she wrapped her arm around him, her voice urgent, "Stop." Leaning him against the wall of the building, she pressed her body against his but left enough space to hold her hands against his chest.
With eyes closed, she once again pictured that magical essence flowing through her veins and centered as much energy as she could onto it. Her mind was clear, unclouded and focused on her goal - keeping the love of her life alive. Within moments, a powerful light shown out between them, lighting up their bloodstained faces. This glowing golden light was magnified in it's intensity, burning brighter than ever before. Eos pushed her hands into his chest and guided the energy into Volitaire, the sensation much like being engulfed in a warm summers sun, the tingle numbing his senses temporarily.

Tossing her phone onto the counter she continued to stuff her face with large unladylike mouthfuls and big swigs of black coffee. Harley had few real friends in the world, and Kira was one of those people she could lose contact with for a month but pick right back up where they left off. A lot of people from the club thought the two were an item, which was amusing when the groupies tried giving her dirty looks. Kira was a beautiful girl with an almost doll-like appearance, but in no way was she as delicate as porcelain.
"You can't out-eat Harley. I'm sure of that. Usually, buffets work for big appetites." She had her wallet now, thus the money issue wasn't a problem. She hated not having anything on hand. Horrible feeling to her. "All in a days work? You always saving people? Like, some form of Batman? You'd need the outfit and the funds. You already have the skills." Her tone was almost playful. Giving him a smirk, she shrugged before turning her attention to her phone.
Reading the message, she almost pouted. Damn. Maybe it wouldn't work. Then again, Harley could always use more food..
Already eating? Thought I'd take ya out to a buffet. oDo
I'm starving, haven't had food, so you better eat those pancakes before I head there.

Fair warning. Kira liked her food. Not as much as Harley but, that was due to usually having enough to eat all the time. Heading to one of the other elevators, she pressed the button to go down. "We're picking up a straggler before going to eat. Maybe eat there if all else fails."
A fork balanced in her mouth, Harley reached out and picked up her phone once again.
Alright, I'll skip seconds then.
Sending it, she smiled, pulling the fork from her mouth and leaning back - stretching her long arms out around her head. It was almost unfair, how much this girl could eat without gaining a pound. But it was true, she could follow a stack of pancakes with a plate of chicken and spaghetti. Yeah, chicken and spaghetti. On the same plate.
God I love buffet's.
Silver saw Haimon reaching for his other sword, but couldn't do anything considering she was using both hands to block his one. He took out his sword, about to strike Silver when he noticed JD behind him, about to hit him. He sighed, stepping out of the way while taking his sword away from Silver. He stared at JD, curious of his weak point in this state. Every being has a weak spot, so what's his? The metal made simply slicing him an issue, but perhaps a direct stab would work. Haimon's swords were sharp, but he wasn't sure that he would be able to cut JD. He backed up a bit, twirling his sword around his arm once and throwing it directly at JD. Silver, however, wasn't going to take any chances, and hit his sword as it was flying, breaking it in half. Silver was a bit shocked that she did that, and looked back to her ring only to see it glowing. Hmm. This will be easier than I thought. Haimon, on the other hand, looked a bit uneasy. Is she going to awaken here and now?
Meanwhile, David was still with Kira. "Harley? I bet I can. No one can out-eat me. And I'm actually better than Batman. My parents are still alive, too. ...I think. Hmm.." He put his hand on his chin as if he was thinking about his parents and wondering if they actually were still alive. He hadn't checked in with them in a long time, and he just remembered that.
"A straggler? Sure. The more, the merrier, right?" he responded with a smile.
Enzo was quite happy to hear that it was her first time as well. That way, he didn't seem too bad at kissing then he actually was. "Really?" He was surprised. "You kiss pretty good for it being your first time..." He started to blush once he realized what he had said.
He scratched his head nervously, and looked around the room. It was then that he remembered they had room service. "Ah!" He peaked up. "Are you hungry?"
He felt the worm sensation racing through his muscles and building up the most around his injuries. He let out a little hum from being so enveloped in Eos' rejuvenating healing skills, and being so close to her again. But under all the bliss, he still felt like he couldn't do what he could to give Silver or the others some time until her foster father showed up. "I just..want to be able to keep you all safe in this terrible time. Shits hitting the fan and it looks like that Darkness guy is making his moves. I need to be able to defend myself and help fight off these disciples of his." He sighed. "I just don't want to be face down on the ground again, while you all are fighting to your deaths... Enough of the people I love has died. You and me both know how that feels."
JD was immune to blades, or at least ones that attempted to slice, cut, or pierce him. What did affect him was blunt force which usually forced the wind from his lungs, or knocked him unconscious. Of course if enough blunt force was present it would break bones, and bruise organs; but it would have to be a lot of blunt force. What affected him the most was magical attacks, and by the way that Haimon attacked he didn’t seem to have the right combination to take JD on. Still didn’t mean the man didn’t try.
The sword might have pierced him and wrenched so tightly in his armor that he would be forced to change back to assess and inevitably mend the damage- he wasn’t able to heal in this form. Yet before they were able to discover if that much force behind a blade could inevitably harm him- Silver managed to destroy it. JD knew his girlfriend was strong, but he was unaware she was this strong. He paused, and went to lunge at Haimon again- hopefully enough to distract him so that Silver could sweep in and finish the job.
Although he had instructed Ines to call the students, he decided it would benefit them both if he started texting who he could. Flopping hard against the adjacent wall, Marcus pulled the 'American' cellphone from his pocket, hoping the students kept theirs on them. The screen of the cheap cell was smashed from the fall, though there was enough visibility to navigate it properly. He sent a mass-text to all the students.
ALL STUDENTS! RETURN TO ROOM 132 AT THE HOTEL IMMEDIATELY. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN EXPULSION!
The last part was obviously a bluff, but he couldn't be too careful. If scare tactics is what it took to get the kids there, so be it. He continued to lay against the wall for a few minutes after sending the text before continuing down the hall, still hunching in pain, he was almost at Enzo's room. "Hey En-" his yell was cut off by a sharp pain running up through his chest. It was almost suffocating, and he fell to his knees. "God dammit!" Getting back to his feet was near impossible at this point, the pain was just too unbearable. But after a few more minutes he managed to stand up, his legs shook with every tiny step. But he made it to the boys door, knocking heavily.
