John walks into the Dining Room. He does see a few people sitting spread around the room. No familiar faces however. After he has looked around the room he walks up to the counter where grabs a bowl and silverware. He walks down the line and fills the bowl with milk, cereal, and dried fruits & berries. Approaching the end of the counter he takes a glass which he fills with orange juice. He then walks away from it and over to a table where he sits down. A quick look on the clock tells him he got about half an hour before class starts. He returns his gaze back to his bowl and begins eating his breakfast as quick as he can.

"Mmmhmm... I'll be up in a second, Deirdre."
Vega then opened her eyes, emitting a small groan. 'Ugh... Morning already?' She then sat up on her bed and stretched, moaning whenever cracking sounds emanated from her back. She then stood up and looked at herself in the mirror. Glancing over her room, Vega realized that she hadn't unpacked most of her stuff yet. The only sign of occupancy was her violin case and the dress that she had worn the night before.
The banquet was superb. It was obvious that the young lady had a wonderful time. The only thing that seemed to dampen her exuberant mood the night before was the robes. 'First and second years have to wear the robes,' she thought as she took a quick shower. 'Huh. What's the point of the robes anyway? I would rather wear my birthday suit under them. It doesn't seem like anyone is going to strip me anyway.'
Picking out a pair of jeans and her 'Listen' shirt, despite what she had thought earlier, Vega then looked at her now-clean self in the mirror. Vay placed the robe on, brushing away a stray strand of hair, and made faces at herself.
"First day..."
(( Vega is headed here for some breakfast. ))

*Ember wakes up in her dorm room, stretching like a cat. She couldn't really remember the night before except that Levi had brought her food and that they had talked a little before he left.....did she fall asleep after that? It was hard to recall things like that sometimes...*
*Tristan was already awake and watching Ember from his perch on her desk. He had taken his avian form as soon as he had gotten out of his bed, since it was easier to watch from higher up and he could only do so as a bird.*
"Morning, sleepy head. We have class in about an hour so you should get dressed and head down to the science classroom before you get us both in trouble. We don't want to get kicked out of another school, do we?"
*Ember groaned at her Guard, getting up and dressing. She was a little frustrated about having to wear a class robe because it was a little bulky and another way for people to label her. She was tired of all the labels she had: winged freak, shapeshifter, second-year, rebel, dangerous, murderer...when all she wanted to be was herself.
Shaking her head she pulled out her dagger and cut two wing sized slits in the back of her robe, slipping it on to make sure it fit. Hopefully nobody would chatise her for doing so...she only did it to make herself more comfortable and give her room for her wings. She couldn't possibly be the first student to do so, right? She pinned on her emblem before turning to Tristan and smiling as she tossed him the other robe.*
I think you have to wear one too since they gave you one and technically you are a second year as well. If I have to suffer a label, so do you.
*Tristan laughed and quickly morphed to put on his modified robe as well. He did not agree with the rule either, but it was better than having them both in trouble. He then pulled on his backpack as Ember did the same, both exiting the room and fleeing down the hall to class.*
Too bad we don't have any classes with Levi today....
((They are going here.))
-
Vega quickly grabs a sandwich and a glass of orange juice. Looking around, she noticed that there were a few tired faces and then other faces that looked like they could burst from excitement. 'It seems there are people who are rather excited about first day,' Vay thought, munching her sandwich.
Looking at her watch, Vega realized she had less than half an hour to get to class. She didn't necessarily panic, but she isn't calm, either. She looked like she was a mixture of both.
-
Finishing any last minute thing, Sotaria was in her classroom. Having eaten earlier, all she had to do was prepare for her firsst class. Her luck, it was the Sixth years she was teaching first thing today. Basically easy enough. She was going to start it off with a basic recap of what they were to go over that year, then a quiz to see where they were standing. The basics considering it was the first day of classes. Everyone would be a bit too scatterbrained to have much stick. Depending on how fast they got done with the quiz, maybe she would start them on the first lesson.
-
John looked up from his breakfast for a moment and spotted a girl he hadn't seen before. She was dressed in the same robe as himself and he figured she was a mage too. He wondered for a second which year she was in. He would probably find that out one day. He then returned to his breakfast and glanced a bit around the room. He saw a few students sitting around the room. He didn't notice anymore mages though.
After he had finished his breakfast he got up from his seat. He then walked across the room and over to the wash room where he left his dishes. After he had cleaned his hands he walked out of the Dinner to get to his class on time.
[[John is heading here ]]
-
Vega quickly finished off her breakfast, spotting a mage with the same robe that she was wearing, and hastily stood up. She wanted to get to class on time, but she couldn't help but notice the other male with the same robe. 'And I thought that I saw everyone in the mansion,' she thought, then shrugging to herself.
Vega then went off to her Defense against Evil class.
-
John walks into the classroom for Defense Against Evil. He looks around the room. It looks like any ordinary class room only with some strange things sitting on the shelves. It seems that he's early as he can't see any other people in the room. He walks over to a table and sits down. He then picks up a block, pen and one of the books he had received. He then opened the block on it's first page and grabbed the pen which he twirled around while he waited for more people.
-
"Defense against Evil, right?" Vega asked herself as she entered the room. She then looked around, noting the strange objects upon the shelves. It took her a moment to realize that there was no one there. Her eyes then set upon a young male who was wearing the same robes as she is.
"Hi there," she greeted. There was time for them to chat, even for a little while. There doesn't seem to be a teacher around, anyway.
-
Haden entered the Magicians mansion and looked around. "So this will be my new home. It seems rather unique." Haden shook his head and hiked his bag on his shoulder better. (Now where can I find my room) he thought to himself Haden looked for someone that seemed to be in charge. He saw a few people but none screamed leader to him. His hood was pulled over his face more to cover anything that might show. The last thing he wanted was to be remembered by those he didn't care to be around.
-
John had been occupied with his own thoughts when someone called out after him. He looked into the direction of the voice and saw another student, a girl with blue, almost black hair. He noticed she was also wearing a purple robe, just like himself. He assumed she was a mage too. He then gave her a smile. "Hello there. I'm John, what's your name?" he replied to her greeting.
-
"I'm Vega. Vay, for short. Nice to meet you, John." Vega smiled as she searched for an empty seat. The atmosphere was rather nice and it was easy to talk to him. There wasn't the awkwardness that she usually felt whenever she talked to those of the opposite gender. 'It's probably because I have already met Jaden and Aiden. They certainly were nothing like I have expected,' she thought, finally finding a vacant chair for her to sit on.
As she alighted on her seat, Vega then asked, "Let me guess, you're wearing the same robes as I do and we have the same class. Does that mean that you're a first year?" She wasn't fully used to the rules of the school and wanted to get acquainted with those who she would be seeing, almost, every day.

Maiara had awoken early and went for a morning hunt in the forest. It was going to be such a nice day and would be wasted if she didn’t take advantage of the good weather get some hunting and training in. Once she was deep in the forest she shifted into her tiger from to start her hunt. Being in this form felt good when was the last time she had shifted? It probably had been the day before she left to come back to the academy. Since she hadn’t been able to travel like she normally would she didn’t have a chance to shift into her other forms. She walked quietly keeping aware of her surroundings. Her large paws did not make a sound as she stepped lightly in search of breakfast. Sure the academy provided a variety of foods for the students, but nothing could beat a fresh meal that you killed yourself in her opinion.
After about twenty minutes of waiting a average sized doe came out from a group of trees. Perfect. She lowered her body to the ground, watching and waiting intently for the right moment to strike. A few minutes passed before the deer was right where she wanted it. Slowly she crept up on the doe, not making a sound. Time for breakfast. I'll just have enough time to eat, then clean up before heading the science if all goes well. Once in position she made her move, charging full speed at the frightened doe who stood there wide eyes staring at her. The poor deer made an attempt to run, but it wasn't quick enough. Mai pounced on it's back, digging her claws into it's flesh. The deer kicked, one of its hooves hitting her in the stomach. She let out a roar, letting go of the doe. It took off again, but she wasn't about to let it get away. Chasing after it she lunged at the doe's neck, clamping down with her teeth. This time her prey wouldn't get away. After about five minutes of struggling the deer finally died. She let go of it's neck and began to have her breakfast.

Jacquelyn sighed as she entered the room to Shapeshifting 101. The room was deserted. Usually she liked that, but she couldn't help but he eager as to who her classmates were.
"H...Hello?" she called hesitantly, her voice echoing slightly through the empty room.
Charts covered the walls on things like safety while shapeshifting and what to do in certain situations. Jacquelyn hummed absent-mindedly as she walked around, looking at everything with fascination.

Noah walked into the school courtyard of his new home and workplace. The school was a grand place to be sure, although he wasn't exactly ecstatic about the job in the first place. Teaching magic wasn't an easy task for anyone. So many things could go wrong from ambitious young mages blowing themselves up, to Magical disasters that could destroy the entire school. Mechanically, The new teacher brought a cigarette to his mouth, lighting it and taking a long drag. He sighed and looked about the intricate and beautiful architecture. It wouldn't be a while until he started his own classes but he could at least get the lay of the land.
"Let's see... There are several obvious sniper positions throughout the school. It would be wise to find someplace an enemy wouldn't expect..."
Needless to say, Noah wasn't the average teacher. In fact, what was in his suitcase was the kind of contraband that would get him thrown out of any normal school. Luckily he and the school had an understanding. In boredom, Noah leaned against a pillar and took another drag of his smoke. He was slowly beginning to wonder just what civilian life would be like.
-
John smiled at Vega and nodded. He then gave her a curious look. He had never seen somone with eyes in different colors. however he was familair with the condition. The girl seemed nice and John hoped they would go along well. It felt good to get to know someone in his own age and class too. The previous people he had met had all been in other years. "You're a first year too, right?" John then replies.
-
Vega nodded, a smile on her face. 'Finally! Someone who's like me... in a way.' She noted that he looked like an average male. He didn't have eyes in different colors. But that didn't hinder her smile. 'That means that our schedules match and all that stuff.' She then asked, even though she was a bit hesitant, "Is your dorm in the Magician's Mansion?"
-
Finishing her breakfast Maiara licked her once white paws that were now stained crimson. Going on a hunt had been a good idea she decided. Purring contently she looked around to make sure she was still alone. The forest was quiet with only the sound of a light breeze whispering through the trees. After a moment she padded off in the direction of the small river. No one else would be out here in the forest right? So I should have time to take a quick deep in the river to get cleaned up before going to my boring science class. Luckily for her she was only about a ten minute walk from the river. When she finally reached it she shifted back into her human form so it would be easier to clean. Her clothes were still tucked away where she had hidden them earlier before going hunting or at least she hoped they were. She stretched a bit before entering the cool water. She shivered slightly at first, but was soon use to the water. “Mmmm,” she purred, smiling. This was one of the only places here at the academy that reminded her of home. This spot was one of her favorites since it was deep enough here to swim and dive. She swam out a little ways before diving. Under the water she swam further out, watching for fish that might make a good meal later on if she wanted to go fishing. After a couple of minutes she resurfaced, gasping slightly for air.
-
Listella peeked into the courtyard, looking around for the Superhuman's dorms. She bit her lip and came out from behind the wall she was behind. She turned and looked up towards the wall, allowing her mind to take in the intricate designs on the wall. It was pretty, but what colors was it? She sighed angerily and spun away from it. She turned her head towards a sound- a voice. It belongs to a man, that was all she could tell so far, and the only way she could find out more was if she walked up to him.
As much as she didn't want to talk to someone, she was lost and her bags were getting heavy. She frowned at herself and then pulled her lips into a slight smile and walked up to the voice. Her suitcase seemed to roar as it dragged behind her and the bags hanging off of her back and hands made a soft clicking sound as she walked.
"Excuse me, sir." she said, trying to get the man's attention. "Can you tell me where the Superhuman's dorms are? I'm a bit lost and sonar doesn't really work when you're somewhere new. It takes a bit to remember one's surrounds..." she sighed to stop herself from babbling.
-
Noah turned his gaze onto a girl that was approaching him. She was human with long white hair and solid light blue eyes. Noah could notice that something was done to them. Mystic eyes? No, he would have been able to sense any magical power coming from the student. It must have been genetic tampering. The teacher grimaced at the idea of human modification on children. It was a disgusting act that could be compared to magical taboos such as necromancy or blood magic. He wanted to ask how the girl got her eyes but she had already began talking.
"The Superhuman dorms? Sonar? I see..."
Things began to click together in his mind. Her eye movements told him that she wasn't looking at him, or anything really. The girl was blind. She was relying on a sonar ability that replaced her eyesight. Sadly, Sonar only worked if you had a good idea of where you were at. She probably could only 'see' faint waves around her from the wind and voices of other students. Noah wasn't a very helpful person but letting a girl crawl around with no help was a bit cruel, even for his standards.
"I guess I can take you there. They aren't very far. What's your name?"
Noah only taught on Wednesdays so he figured he might as well get a head start on helping the students. He was about to offer his hand to the girl but restrained himself. Offering his hand to a blind girl just felt like insulting her. Hopefully he could find the dorms quickly. Dealing with others wasn't exactly his strong suit.

"My name's Listella. Thanks for showing me. I mean, its pretty hard to follow a map you can't see." she said, a laugh touching her voice. She looked back as she heard a tree rustle. To her, it sounded like a someone walking, but it was merely a tree. She sighed a bit bitterly and then smiled lightly.
"Are you a teacher? You seem taller then some of the other students I've seen." she said, shifting a bag on her shoulder. She didn't know what color the bag was, but she liked it anyway. For all she knew, it could've been a bright yellow for all she cared.
Her boots were getting a bit uncomfortable and she shifted from one foot to the other. They were her favorite combat boots that she loved to train in- light and easy to bounce around in.
-
Morpheus feet hit the ground slightly as he walked into the room to greet the sudents or any one who was in there. He spoke "Good day I'm Morpheus Vicktor, I perfer if you call me Morpheus." He took a slight breath starting to talk again, "I am your teacher and today i will see how much knowladge you hold in this...Hmmm class."
Morpheus begun to make way to his desk opening the duffle bag he was carrying turning his back to the students then speaking "Any one?"
-
Whilst waiting for John's answer, Vega's ears perked up at the sound of footsteps. She looked at the source of the sound and cocked her head to the side. The teacher introduced himself as Morpheus, much like the Greek god of dreams. "I'm Vega and this is John. Nice to meet you, Mr... Morpheus?" Vay wasn't sure how to call him. She could have called him Morpheus, but it was difficult for her to say it without an honorific, since he was her teacher.
-
John looks at the other mage and nods. He then spots what he assumes is the teacher walking in. The teacher walks over to his desk and John follows him attentive. He's excited for what they will learn today. "Good morning Mr Morpehus!" John replies to the teacher.
-
Vega was practically excited that John was residing in the same building as she is. 'Yes! Now there's someone I know from the Magician's Mansion!' She thought. Looking over at Morpheus, she then wondered what their first lesson would be.
-
Listella grumbled to herself about how stupid things were when they just disappeared like that. She hated it when people just went on and left her, not even bothering to ask her if she could see him so far away. He had just disappeared, as if into thin air.
Despite her lack of help, Listella had still managed to get to the Superhuman's homestead, finding it awkwardly easy to get to. She quickly dropped her bags off in the room assigned to her and then pulled out a few things, her reader and school things in a messenger bag that she almost always kept at her side.
When she was done picking things out, she then left the building quietly and rushed to her Defense class, slightly alarmed by the fact that she was late. Could she use the excuse that she got here late? She sighed and pushed the thought out as she walked into the class, silently dashing to a seat on the side of the room.
Her pale blond hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail, keeping any loose strands out of her face. She was able to read the room well, and she enjoyed this immensely.
When she heard that teacher's voice, she looked up and blinked a few times. Morpheus? What a strange name. she thought to herself. She decided to keep quiet and not say anything, as to not draw any attention to herself
-
Morpheus Gazed upon the Handful of students as he let out a little sigh, He hoped that this bunch of students would have the Proper skill set to learn his very ...odd lessons. He spoke softly " We will currently access your knowledge in the field of Dark Magicka- " He stopped mid sentence as the student came into the class. "Hello Ma'm we are Beginning to talk about Dark Magicka,Demons, and etc. Can you tell me what you know about them" Morpheus asked Kindly.
-
"Magicka? I am a girl strictly of science. I can say that demons do seem to exist, because my father was possessed by one when he... Nevermind that. I have seen signs of Magicka though, but I have yet to proove them using a simple reader, because it seems that my reader is incapable of this "Magicka" research you speak of." her voice seemed to be emotionless, but that one moment where she mentioned her father- her tone was somewhat upset.
-
Morpheus stood Kindly smiling as the man looked at her as he lifted his hand as if it was morphing with the air, He flicked his hand at the girl as the room begin to seem Distance between me and the student and with Two words..." Verla Thum the girl eyes begin to change and she slowly begin to see the students as Morpheus Looked at her and set his hand on the Desk, He spoke "So...How is Vision?"
-
"Sir... What are you-" she was cut off by a sudden change in her vision. Her eyes flew wide and she felt her jaw tighten. "What... How did you...? No way..." she whispered as she looked down at her hands and then around the room. There were words! Words! So many words that she could read again. She looked over at the man who had enchanted her eyes with an odd expression- not happiness or fright, but anger. How could he know? About her eyes and that she was blind? She sighed and looked back at the desk before an idea rushed into her head. She got up and walked swiftly to the window and looked out.
There were colors... So many colors that her mind was overfilling with ideas. So many more ideas that she didn't need in her head. So many more ideas that were a burden to her. She closed her eyes and walked back to her seat.
"That was cruel."
-
Morpheus looked at the girl as he sighed and with a smile snapped his fingers as the world slowed to a stop, He looked at the girls and Said with great Power"Rezentum Tum!" the girls vision was taken with no remorse as he eyes slowly became what they were when she entered. He spoke with Little Emotion "Magicka can grant and take easily just as i have did today young one I can senses certain things about people child and i sensed your... blindness...........and I read your file" he chuckled.
-
I should have known that... I'm sure there are not a lot of blind students at this school... she thought bitterly. She looked down at her desk and neatly intertwined her fingers on the cold wood. "So Magicka is real. Science has made blind and Magick has made me see again. How ironic." she muttered quietly, her voice bland. She sighed and looked up from her hands to the teacher.
-
Vega kept quiet as the whole thing panned out in front of her. They were just starting to begin the lesson, until a student came in, blabbering all about science and how she didn't believe in Magicka. 'Science?' She thought, looking over at John, wanting to see how he felt.
But once Morpheus had granted her vision back, Vay was taken by surprise. She had always thought that such things should be left alone. The blind would be left blind and the deaf would be left deaf. She thought that it wasn't cruel to leave them as they were, although it would be nice for them to experience new things.
Refusing to say a word, she squirmed in her seat, impatiently waiting for the lesson to start.
-
Morpheus smiled as he looked at the children he then move to his desk, He spoke softly "Now that that is handled can anyone inform us on what dark magicka is or what it is used for and/or the meaning?" The man was clearly a man of Mystic superstition that was focused on the students to learn this Knowledge and wisdom he held in this field.
-
As Morpheus started talking John grabbed his pen in order to take notes. The teacher begun to speak about Dark Magics. John did not have much experience about that type of magic however he thought it seemed odd to speak about such things at this point in their education. But he was not the one to question a teacher. Then as a blond woman rushed in and the teacher stopped talking. John looked up at her but he did not recognize her. Perhaps he would get to know her at a later time. He also noticed that she was dressed in colors which belonged to the Superhuman house. 'I wonder what her super powers are?' he thought before he watched the scene unfold between the teacher and the new pupil. He was slightly amazed about it as he didn't know you could make blind people see with magic. Although he thought it was cruel of the teacher to then retake the vision he gave the her.
John looked over to Vega briefly. She seemed surprised. He then looked back at Morpheus and pondered his question for a moment. John had always seen dark magic as something to be avoided because it only lead to pain and suffering. He looked around the room before he raised his hand.
"It's used to hurt people?" he replied to the teachers question.
-
Morpheus chuckled at the student response that soon turned to a full laugh. He spoke with ease as he corrected the student "Well it could be used for that type of field but it may be used to Heal or summon other things you see myself is apart of Dark Magicka from my home land it was...Never mind that but it can be used for a wide source of things also to-" A crow Morph from my shoulder as he talked "- Harvest energy to manifest it to something from a simple crow to a demonic being, But what i used was a birth right called Darkness well that what i call it but only few have obtained this and have to have Vastime royal blood like myself have this ability. it is a living being that can be used to poison mortals or others that try to obtain this power or to power my other abilities,Summon, and etc so it can be classified as Dark Magicka."
-
Listella had pulled out her reader and was turning it on. She began to press buttons on it with braille imprinted on them, recording the notes from this class. She kept her focus on the voice and the clicking of the keys. She did not want any more attention drawn to her- seeing as how her mind was reeling and if she began to talk now, she'd go on and on about her observations from when she saw colors... and words... So many words...
She sighed quietly and pressed her right hand to her forehead, trying to calm the headache that ravaged in her head. She kept typing with one hand, the muscles trained to do so.
How interesting. she thought bitterly as the man pulled a black crow from thin air. But what is this Vastime? If he's going to teach, he should tell us what all of this is..."
-
Morpheus looked at the class and said as the students faces gave way the interest to Vastime, he didn't like talking about home....or his old home for that matter. "Students i see your interest with my home realm but that is fir when we study Other forces and how to defeat them lets stay on one topic please also if you feel my teaching are wrong speak out i encourage freedom of speech" Morpheus smiled at the students as they crow begin to fade into him.
-
Vega pulled her notebook and her pencil out of thin air and began to write. She looked over to the blonde-haired girl and John as she wrote, Morpheus' words adjusted to beats of a music scale in her head. Everyone had a certain tone to their voices when they talked and from what she could tell from his voice, it seemed as if Morpheus doesn't get angry very easily. It also seemed as if he didn't want to talk about where he came from.
As Vay wrote in cursive, she took note that dark Magicka isn't only used to hurt people and that it has a wide variety of uses from healing to harvesting energy to form a being. But she couldn't help but flinch a bit as Morpheus laughed at John's answer. She knew that he didn't mean to mock him but she just couldn't help but flinch.
At the corner of her eyesight, she could see the blonde-haired girl and how she took notes. 'It would be neat to try out something like that,' she thought, even though Vega wasn't blind.
