Smirking, he handed the woman the food he had brought for her. Nodding no to her answer, he followed her into the room and took a seat on a chair. "Sorry, shapeshifting isn't really my specialty. You could ask one of the upperclassmen in your wing. They have to know. Or at least I would hope that they would. Might even be covered under the school... that way you wouldn't have to pay for it."
Levi looked down at the food he brought for himself. Smiling, he popped open the lid and looked at the delicious contents. "I figured you were hungry... I know I was... and... well... I wanted to apologize for earlier. I was wrong to judge you without knowing the whole truth. Please, if you can, forgive me?"

Unable to answer the questions, as Ryota has taken the spotlight momentarily, Jaden went to speak but noticed Mary was fast approaching them. Shrugging, he figured he would pull the child aside at a later point in time to discuss the little things that would need working out.
As Ryota shifted, Jaden moved so that he was beside Mary. A bit nervous, he contemplated whether or not he wants to show their affection. With a quick inhale for courage, he wrapped his left arm around Mary's hips, which pulled her a bit closer. Nuzzling her head with his nose, he planted a light peck on her temple before he looked back at Vega.
"Perhaps you should teach me to play that way I can keep this one around." He was joking, which was odd for his nature, but being beside Mary often brought out the softer sides of the male. Those green eyes of him confirmed the look that Vega was giving him. Yes, they seemed to say, she's the one.
When she mentioned true form Jaden recalled that he hadn't properly introduced his own species to the child. Not wanting to steal Ryota's thunder, he chimed in with something witty. "No, he would be naked if it were his true form, right?" His pale face flashed her a smile before his eyes drifted to look into Mary's. She was beautiful and he was thrilled to have her back at his side. "Thank you for helping my love, Ryota, out. I would have hated to see him stay in that phase any longer. Not that he isn't handsome in such a form, but I do prefer the rabbit look. It's more.. adorable." He winked at the demon rabbit before directing his attention back to Vega.
"I don't believe I made my species clear, my child. I am fallen angel. You can blame this woman for the fallen part. Although, I wouldn't want it removed as I like how things have turned out." His black fringe slowly spread into his eyes as he looked down at the child. "I used to to be a Guardian of Heaven's Gates. I was sent on a special mission by Him to check out a series of killings that revolved around witches. I was to perform exorcisms and purge the human bodies of evil. I just so happened to stumble upon this beautiful creature. One kiss and she turned me into a fallen being. I suppose it could have been worse... I could be dead. But I think my immortality might have made that a little difficult."
-
"Well then, we'll swing by the dinning hall before we sweep the halls. Although, at some point I should return to my building. I need to make sure all the alchemists have checked in. Mary would be most displeased if I failed at my duty."
Stepping forward, he looked toward the school. "On second though, I will go run that errand first. I'll have to find Mary, too. Why don't you go on without me and look for them. We can't let the two new kids run this school. Make sure to keep them in line, okay?"
Without waiting for her to reply, he ran off toward the Alchemist Layer. I hope everyone is here or in the process of arriving. I know how Mary is when she doesn't have a full roster. Although, it doesn't mean we won't win at the house games. We've won two years in a row, I'm not about to lose my final year!

*Ember set her food on the table by her bed, sitting cross-legged on the floor. She wasn't all that hungry at the moment and really just wanted to be alone, but she couldn't bear to kick Levi out after he was so kind.*
I find it very unusual that you show up with food JUST after Tristan left to fetch me some dinner...is this a set up? If so you should leave now because I refuse to be a charity case to a boy I like!
-
She nodded, figuring that he would have to do his duties at some point. There were still many things to do. As she made her way to the dining hall, she glanced over at Aiden and nodded again. "Course. See you later, and good luck." she stated with a small smirk as she watched him leave.
John and Lexington didn't seem the type to cause any trouble, so they would be easy enough to deal with. Brushing back some hair from her face, she quickened her steps to the Dining Hall. Hopefully the two really hadn't left yet. if so, then she'd have some trouble finding them. Maybe she could always start with their houses. Or, ask people.
-
"Ouch. That hurt more than I thought. You really think this is a setup? If so, maybe I was wrong to give you a chance. I'm not the kind of guy to toy with a woman. You should know that. If you don't, then I'm sorry, but I won't stand around much longer to be belittled by you." Turning his cheek away from her, he glared out the window. His apatite, gone. It sucked to be told such things. Did she really think it was just a game? Did she really think he was that type of man? If so, he wanted nothing to do with her. Girls like that were trouble. Levi was just trying to be a sincere friend and a nice guy. Two traits that are often rare to find in a man.
Rising to his feet, he moved toward the door. "I guess I was wrong. I should have figured you'd be like the rest."
-
*Ember reached towards Levi, biting her lip. It wasn't that she thought he was playing games, she just thought Tristan had prompted him to be nice to her.*
I don't mean it like that. I just thought Tristan put you up to this because you both wanted to reassure me that everything was okay between the two of us and that I didn't need to leave. I think it is really sweet, actually. People never do things like that for me...and I didn't know how to react to that. Can we just start over?

Vega had noted, earlier, that Jaden and Mary had hesitated. She wondered why, but then it came to light when he pulled her closer, wrapping his arm around her waist. She warmly smiled at the intimate gesture and as she watched, a faint tune played in her head. 'Yes! Inspiration at last!' She thought, mentally jumping for joy. Before she could forget, she then grabbed some music sheets and a pencil from her violin case and hastily wrote down the notes, muttering to herself that she would clean it all up once she was done.
The girl cocked her head to the side, finished with drawing the notes down. "I could teach both of you. I don't mind," she offered, chuckling. Jaden seemed more at ease and rather softer once Mary came over. 'I see. It seems she has this effect over him,' she thought, scribbling some more notes down.
Before Mary could ask, Vega then explained, "Some events or things spark up my inspiration and, before I forget it, I write it all down. I keep some blank music sheets in my violin case for that reason." She looked at Jaden, confident that this would be the song that she would use for his proposal.
She couldn't help it but Ryota's form did look... adorable. Vega turned red at Jaden's 'naked' comment, but then giggled when she realized that he was cute. But, it would take some getting used to.
At Jaden's little summary of his life, Vega drew more notes. She would have to clean it all up later and see if she could play it. 'A fallen angel? Interesting.' Vega then looked up at both of them and nodded to herself, her eyes twinkling. It would take some time, but the tune was playing in her head at that moment. It would be easy for her to memorize.
-
"Oh no no. I'm not very good with instruments. Gave the Viol a try when I was about.. Thirteen. I dont think my Master approved of the horrid noise." Mary said with a short laugh. It should be noted, Mary's birth year is 1573. About the time of the late Renaissance music. She had always been surrounded by art and music. Seeing most of it come to life while living in the times. But she drew more towards science and discovery. The mention of her Master would confuse many of the students. Had there dear teacher been a slave at one point? She rarely did mention the man who taught her everything. Or even how she became the apprentice to such a famous figure.
She saw from the corner of her eye Ryota change into his far more adorable rabbit form. She felt the arm snake around her side as Jaden moved closer. Inviting the fallen angel in, Mary moved closer, casting a warm smile up towards him after the brush of lips hit her temple. "You can't get rid of me that easy Dear Jaden." Mary said to his reply. She certainly would welcome the sounds of music into their relationship. Maybe it was a thing she missed about her simple time. No matter where you walked, minstrels would play.
Her eyes matched with Jaden's after his witty comment. "I would have been back sooner if I had organized my room better. Maybe I can get Aiden to do that. I'm sure the boy should be punished for something by now." Mary of coarse was not serious about giving poor Aiden such a task. One could dream right? She noticed Vega jotting some music notes down on a blank music sheet. A smile came to her face.
"I like this one. Write your thoughts down before they escape." While Mary spoke she reached into her back, pulling from it a little black book. Normally meant from writing phone numbers down, or in Mary's case, the book was filled with runes. It was her thought book if anything. Or a journal if you will. She stuffed the book back into her bag as Jaden gave an explanation of what he was.
Mary supposed it was her turn. Although she had noticed Vaga's mind was elsewhere. Listening to the little tune in her head probably. Not that Mary even wanted to go into detail about what she was. Truth be told, she hated her race. They were not looked upon positively at all. In fact, it caused her more trouble that good. And if not for the Head-Mistresses announcement each year, no one would even know. Something she preferred, but knew it could not be. In case she ever did go.. sicko in the middle of a lecture. No, Mary was not ashamed of her race. Mixed feelings... It was all very confusing.
A set of running footsteps caught her ears, she turned slightly to see Aiden running towards the Alchemist Layer. She thought about flagging him down to get the dorm roster, but knew that was where he was probably working on now in such a hurry. She turned back towards the group. Pretending to not see the blond. She would hunt him down later. In truth, Mary treated most of her aides in this fashion. Not that Aiden had given her many reasons to bother him. In all honesty, he was one of the better aids she had. Did not abuse the power. That was always a good sign. Of coarse, it was sad when he would leave, but Mary always had a fifth year picked. Which she was such Aiden would enjoy the extra teaching he would be able to give to Nerine when she announced it part way threw the year. Maybe it sounded like she was replacing one student with another so fast, as some teachers pointed out. But the Aides never seemed to mind it too much. This was just how Mary ran her dorm. Organized and creative.
"Ryota, Quid sentis?" Mary asked in Latin, not even realizing she had asked him in Latin. (How do you feel?)
-
Afon took a seat next to Lapis. Stretching out his legs. His knees made a small crack. Since he had been standing the entire time. A thought crossed his mind. He should finish the roster for the superhuman dorm. It was about half way complete since most of the students had not arrived just yet. The superhuman form always did seem to be the smallest set of students. Which sucked.
"It snowed.. A lot." Afon said with slight laugh. "I went back home to Russia over the summer break. Ran a few drills per order of the government." He said with a shrug. Afon kept it unknown what he would be doing after school. Or rather, he simply did not mention much.
"That is a nice bracelet." Afon said, and left it at that. He honestly did not want to even know if it was stolen or given to him. Afon always thought the cat was cute, and good friend. "Did you see what happened in the garden? The school is buzzing with gossip." Afon asked the adorable cat monster.
-
Lapis shifted into a more comfortable position against the tree. He listened with slight interest when Russia was mentioned. He had never been there, of course, but even the idea of a place where it snowed in the summer made him shiver in distaste. Not for the first time, Lapis wondered about the 'running drills for the government' thing.
He decided to ask about Afon's secret agent business later. Instead he said, "No, but I smelled the burning plants." he wrinkled his nose in illustration. "I heard someone mention a Phoenix." Closing his eyes, Lapis rested his head against the tree trunk and enjoyed the feel of the sun on his face.
A thought seemed to strike him and he reopened one eye. "I think I ate a phoenix once." he said, matter-of-factly. Hmm... Well, now he was hungry. "I'm hungry. Lets go get food." Leaping to his feet in one fluid movement, the cat-eared boy stretched his arms over his head and looked down expectantly at his human companion.
-
Afon could not help but laugh at the cat monster. "Ate a phoenix? your insides would be ash you silly cat." Afon said standing himself now. Brushing off the back of his pants a bit. He noticed the look of hurry up from Lapis's face. "Yeah yeah, I'm coming." Afon said to him. "Let's go!" Afon threw an arm around Lapis's neck and moved forward towards the dinning hall.
(( Nom nom time! Going here!-- Clicky ))
-
((Came from here-- Clicky! ))
Afon walked into the dinning hall with Lapis still in tow. He looked around, seeing Lex sitting at one of the tables. "Oh! There he is." Afon said to the cat monster. "Food first, then say hi.." Afon said with a smile. Knowing Lapis was hungry. Afon hopped in line. Taking a plate and handing one to his cat friend. He worked down the line. Picking up mainly fruits of all kinds for a fruit salad. He knew dinner would be in a few short hours, and did not want to fill completely up.
Afon waited for Lapis to make his selection. "Let's go over to say hi now." The Superhuman said, making his way over to the table. He heard the mention of phoenix, and remember back to the conversation Lapis and himself had just spoken. Therefore, without much thought behind his words. "Its rumored a Phoenix torched the garden." Afon said as he walked up.
"Im Afon by the way. Hey again Lex." He was holding his tray of food while looking around the group of boys that had gathered.
-
"Yes and i would greatly appreaciate it if you left my more normal form a secret." Ryota said to her, his robe hidding his neon markings except for the slight few that peaked slightly out around his face, he never showed anyone the designs on his body, except for Jaden. His nose visably wrinkled at being called adoreable but didn't say nothing about it considering it was Jaden and he would allow Jaden to call him that.
He stood there and listened quietly to what was being said, turnning his head away as he watched what was going on a round them, his mind was ealse where as he felt the effects of the potions taking over, you could see him smack his lips a few times and swallow as he tried to get rid of the bitter taste in his mouth. "EGO sentio ultum melior, Mary. Gratias ago vos pro venenum. Vos melior servo a angustus habitum in Jaden causa ego vires prehendo him sursum quod matrimonium him si vestri non curiosus." he said to her, having blinked and realized that she was speaking latin, easily slipping into it as he answered in reply, (I feel much better, Mary. Thank you for the potions.......you better keep a tight hold on Jaden cause i might snatch him up and marry him if your not careful.) He smiled at her as best as he could but his face just seemed to stay as straight and serious as ever, looking to some random thing once more as there was distance between the couple and him, noticable so.
"I don't think anyone wants to see me like that, Jay. After all you have to realize that even, Mary would be all over me then." he tried to say in a humours way but it came out more as a very serious and sarcastic humour, which wasn't what he was trying to go for, but Jaden was right. His true form involved alot of drinks and a lot less clothes then what he was wearing now.
-
John gave Lex a nod. he imagined that most shape-shifters shifted into wolves. Then two more persons entered the room. A guy with platinum blond hair and another guy with white hair. As the blond guy introduced himself and greeted Lex, John gave him a nod.
"I'm John," he introduced himself to Afon. "I'm from the Magicans house," he then added.
John then looked over to the other male and tilted his head curiously. It looked like the person was partly cat. He gave the man a nod and waited for him to introduce himself.
-
*Tristan shrugged gently*
"I am not surprised, it is quite rare for Phoenixes to inhabit this world from what I understand. The people here have not fully awakened and it is pretty much considered the Phoenix equivalent of Siberia...any of our kind that live here have probably been banished."
*He sighed softly. He did not like to speak of such matters..."
-
Entering the dining hall, Nerine was surprised to see that the two boys were not alone. In fact, she saw others she recognized, and one she hadn't seen before. Making her way over, the purple haired female smiled once she reached the group. Giving a grin to Afon and lapis, she looked at Lex and John. "Hey there. Sorry for having run out like that. Aiden will join us later, once he's finished with his duties as the head of house." Having explained, her gaze turned to Tristan. "Are you a student here?" She hadn't recalled ever seeing him there.
-
Lapis allowed himself to be led into the dining hall. On the way, he grinned mirthlessly and toothily at Afon's laughing comment. "I'm very resilient in the stomach department." He was telling the truth at that.
When they reached the dining hall, Lapis ignored everyone, but took the proffered plate and started loading it with food. Unlike his blond friend, he didn't worry about spoiling his appetite. Once his plate was full, the White-haired boy lazily surveyed the room's occupants. His eyes came to rest on the group Afon was talking to.
He strolled over, walking like he owned the place. This school was his territory after all. And like many cats, he always oozed confidence. Once he reached the group, he set his tray down at an empty space. Sitting down, he twitched an ear with a small jingling noise and announced, "Lapis." since they seemed to be introducing themselves.
Lapis' eyes landed on Tristan and a slow smile spread across his face. 'A little birdie to play with?' he thought, before shifting his gaze to his own food. When that girl Nerine showed up, his only acknowledgment was to flick an ear.

Vega chuckled when Mary noted that she wasn't 'musically inclined'. "I could try, although, from what you have said, it might be quite a challenge." She couldn't help but imagine herself screaming, at the top of her lungs, to Mary about her posture or something like that. The scene was humorous to her, but she felt quite embarrassed as her cheeks burned at the thought. 'She's a teacher, for goodness sakes! You don't scream like that to her!' There would probably be times when she would feel exasperated and totally give up, so not teaching her would be a good idea. 'I guess I'll just have to find people like me.' She then raised an eyebrow at the mention of her master. "Master? Have you been apprenticed at some point?" Vega had been apprenticed to an elder, which is why she had ample knowledge about herbs and potions.
At this moment, Vega began to put the music sheets away. She would have to deal with them later, when she had the time. "Why would I..." Her voice trailed away as she understood, to a point, why Ryota wanted to keep his true form a secret. 'He would be much more fun if he revealed his true form, but I guess that day would come sooner or later,' she thought, slyly smiling.
'Okay, Aiden is Mary's assistant. I wonder if I have seen him around here yet.' Quickly glancing around, she then sighed. 'I guess not.' Her eyes widened when Mary pulled out a little notebook from her bag. Craning her neck, she could see that it was full of runes. Vega, herself, wasn't familiar with runes. But she knew what they looked like.
At the sound of running, Vega then saw a young man running towards what seemed to be the building that Mary had come out from. She concluded that it was the Aiden that she was talking about, but she would just have to find that out later.
When Ryota and Mary began to speak in Latin, Vega couldn't help but feel dumbfounded. It was obvious that the three before her are older than they look. She was only seventeen. Like the runes, she knew that they were speaking Latin, but she could barely comprehend. She felt somewhat left out. 'But of course I would feel this way. They're teachers,' she thought.
-
"Starting over sounds nice, but I can't forget the hell you've put me through. Not only have you attacked me on multiple occasions, but you also called me out on scheming against you. I'm not a man to do such a thing. Perhaps you've got me confused with Aiden. I can assure you that I'm nothing like him and I would prefer to be treated as an equal, not someone you could just toss around and toy with. I'm really getting sick of being cast about. I'm afraid my heart can't take much more of this."
His sad eyes peered out into the hallway. He had so much he wanted to say and he, more than anything, wanted to start over. However, the pain in his chest was telling him otherwise. Rather than leaving, he simply moved backwards and closed the door. Resting his forehead against it, he let out a sigh.
"You confuse me...." he muttered.
-
*Ember sighed, touching him gently on the shoulder. She did not want the male to leave thinking that he was only a play toy to her. He was much more than that...*
I know you aren't Aiden and I know how much harm I've caused you, but I really do care about you. I'm just really confused about everything that is going on here, especially the social interaction. Can you imagine living the past ten or so years in hiding, void of any companionship other than Tristan?
*She drummed her fingers against her desk, her eyes looking anxious and depressed.*
You have every right to leave this instant and never talk to me again...but I hope you let me try to show you that I do view you as an equal.
-
A chuckle escaped her as she shook her head. “Don’t worry. Maybe I’ll be able to see a dragon one day. You never really know in a place like this. I see, it must be hard and fun to have different forms like that. Were is the easiest way to explain my race since it’s rare for someone to be able to shift into something other than the big cat that represents their clan. Though by what I understand my race is limited to the forms of the big cats of the world.” She said this before continuing to answer his questions. Blushing slightly, running into him had caused her to forget what she had been doing. “Actually I am hungry since I skipped breakfast. And don’t worry about keeping me from something. I was just on my way to my room to drop off something.” It didn’t surprise her that he hadn’t noticed the bag she had since she had hidden it behind her. Normally dealing with others was a hassle, but she didn’t feel like she normally did around others with Mason. “If you want you can go on ahead and I’ll meet you in the dining hall after I drop off my bag in my room.” The smile she gave him was warmer than her normal ones.
-
"I could show you mine, if you'd like one day." The red head offered before smiling. "It is fun. Mostly because I cam do a couple of more things than usual." In some of his aquatic forms, he could more or less see better. It was nice to be able to have that ability. "I've heard of your race before. But in the passing." Only the name really. It was a surprise to have heard it again, but now he could know what they were. Listening to her, he looked relieved that he hadnt interrupted anything important.
"Alright then. That is good. As for going ahead of you, I could start heading there." He wouldn't be the fastest person, but he didn't want to crowd around her and annoy her either. Nor did he want to outright show he couldn't see anything. "Meet you either there, or on the way." He said, smiling back at the tone of her voice.
-
”I would like that,” she said, smiling more. “I’m a little surprise about that, most people wonder if I just made up a name because I didn’t want to tell them my real race.” Their conversation had sparked her interest in more than one way. Later she would have to try shifting into a different kind of cat. It was something she hadn’t giving much thought to about trying before now.
“Ok, I’ll see you in a little bit then.” Picking up her bag she gave him a slight wave before making her way down the hall. She was still totally unaware of the fact he couldn’t see. Even though she was going to be meeting this man soon she was in no hurry to get to her room. Surprisingly she was in a much better mood then earlier and found herself humming. Once she reached her room she unlocked the door and disappeared inside. Whatever it had been that she forgot still hadn’t come to her which still left her annoyed, but for now she had other things to think about.
-
John nodded slowly at what the familiar said. John knew that other mythical creatures inhabited this world although several of them weren’t as flashy as dragons or Phoenixes. To be honest he wasn't sure there even was dragons in the world... his mother's spell book didn't cover them. But after all, it didn't cover a lot. He then looked up as Nerine came back to the dining room. He gave her a smile and hoped she and Aidan was still OK. He then noticed how the cat guy looked at the familiar. John tilted his head, not knowing if the cat guy had good or evil intentions. Not really sure what to do next, leave or wait he balanced from one toe to the other. He then suddenly remembered that he was still caring his dishes. He gave the other people a sheepish smile before finally walking over to where you left the dishes. When he got there he placed his glass, cutlery and plate where they should be and then dried off his hands. After he had done that he walked back to the small gathering and waited there. He would like to explore more of the castle but maybe he should get his gear to his room first. With that in mind he tried to remember how to get to the Magician Mansion. Aiden hadn't been the best guide with all that running about...
-
"Just be thankful that you're cute. Or I would leave!" He was teasing her, although, deep within, he was weeping. It was really taking a toll on him, but he figured he would hang around for a bit. In a few hours, they would be called into the dining hall for a welcoming ceremony. He had nothing better to do until then, so he figured he might as well stick around. It was either hang with Ember or pester someone else. Or there was wandering around alone.
"I have a headache," Levi said with a whimper. "Do you happen to have any Tylenol?" His eyes shifted to her bed. "Or would you mind if I laid down for a bit? It would be better than sitting or standing."
-
Coming from the building, Aiden rushed toward Mary with a rather pissed look on his face. "JAAAAADEEEEEENNNNNNNN!" As he continued to charge at them, the male's body went ablaze. Drawing ever nearer, Jaden took a good step to the side, in hopes of avoiding the male's spiteful attack. Sure enough, Aiden shifted to the same side.
Just as he was about to ram into the teacher, he felt himself flying through the air. Looking down, he noticed that Jaden had... had tripped him. Rage pulsed through his veins. Landing on his feet, he kicked himself toward the male and practically knocked Mary off her feet, too!
"JAAAAADDEEEEEENNNNNNNNN!"
"Aiden-kun~!" He said looking up at the cheeky male. That friendly expression was on Jaden's face as he laid there looking up at the blonde, who was mounting him (in case you wanted to know).
"YOU FAILED ME! I WILL KILL YOU!"
"Kseeee, skeeeee, skeeeeee!" His eyes closed as he snickered. "I didn't fail you, Aiden-kun. I just forgot to hit submit before I went to Europe."
Cocking a brow, Aiden rose to his feet and offered the fallen angel a hand. "Oh, well... erm... I still hate you." That scornful look was still in his eyes, although it broke when he noticed Mary. "Mary. We have everyone accounted for. Everyone is here. I checked yours, Jaden. You're missing three."
"Well that's depressing. I suppose I will just have to steal Vega here."
"You're a terrible man...."
"You love me."
"No. I hate you."
"You're so cruel. Mary, fail him."
A nerve twitched above his eyebrow. Ripping up a nearby lamp post, he lit it on fire and dangled it over Jaden's head. "Grrrrr!" He growled ever so cruelly.
"On second thoughts, give him an A+...." Fleeing behind Ryota, the black haired male poked his tongue out at Aiden.
"...." Putting the lamp down, he shoved his hands into his pockets before he started to stroll away. "I hate him, I hate him, I hate him...."
-
He waved as he heard Maiara's footsteps head to her room. Heading out down the hallway to go outside, he closed his eyes, listening to the footsteps and chatter of other people. It was quieter, as more people were settled down in their rooms or getting read for the ceremony later that day. Feeling the sun on his face, he tilted his head. What time is it? He had to wonder if he should even bother with food right now, and just wait for the dinner.
Then again, it was never a good thing for him to go hungry. The last time he did that, he almost ate a teacher. Thankfully it had been resolved and he was forgiven. For the most part. Making his way to the dining hall, he heard a couple of yells from the direction of the courtyard, but paid them no mind. Food first, then find someone else to talk with.
-
Nerine noticed that there was a bigger crowd than usual. Something she wasn't comfortable with. Along with there not being any talking. Had they been talking about something not meant for female ears? Growing uneasy, she almost bit her lip. Instead, she watched as John went to drop his things off and then come back. She smiled a little before looking around and spotted a red head coming in. "Oh look, Mason's here too." she said, mostly to herself as she smiled. She talked to the guy sometimes when she could find him. "The guy with the red hair."
Pointing him out, she explained to Lexington, who had gone strangely quiet, and John. "He's a third year shifter. A taniwha, which is a type of dragon. Sort of." She didn't know how exactly to explain. Nor did she want to say the younger student was blind. "I'd introduce you two, but then again, he's probably hungry.." She didn't like interrupting others when they're going to eat. Even if it didn't seem she cared sometimes. Glancing at John, she tilted her head and smiled. "Would you like to go somewhere in particular?" she asked, knowing he wouldn't know where everything was. Since Aiden wasn't there to give a tour, she'd just have to do the honors.
Mason heard his name being said and paused before he just went back to grabbing things he might like. Smelling the different foods, he picked out a variety of meats with some fruit before getting himself a bottled water. I think it's water. He couldn't tell the difference, but it was bottled.
-
Lapis quite liked Mason. He was more interesting than a lot of the humans around here. This was probably because he was not human. Anyway, the white haired boy like to watch the redhead navigate via his other senses. Chewing thoughtfully, he watched the blind man pick of a bottle of root beer. Did he like root beer? Lapis did not particularly care.
Transferring his attention to a hot pepper on his plate, The cat monster dipped it in a small heap of salt and bit it with every sign of enjoyment. Usually students only ate these things on dares, or of course, if they were fire elements of the type who could handle them. He himself was no fire element, but he had grown up in a desert. He had never given a straight answer as to where this desert was when asked.
