Cautious Love

"Yeah, I'll have one." I said , and I got my phone out and started looking for houses that were for sale

As I was making the sandwiches, I thought about some stuff. "So.. Are you wanting to stay in this town, or go somewhere else?"

"Somewhere else, is where I was thinking. Not too far, maybe like a city over or something. What about.. Philadelphia?" I asked. It wasn't that far from here.

I shrugged. "Wherever you wanna go." I handed him his sandwich and sat down.

"Don't give me that crap." I said
, and took a bite of my sandwich, and finished the bite. "Tell me what you want." I said.

"I just.." I sighed. "I don't want to live in the city.. It's so noisy and toxic."

"Okay, no cities.." I said, and I scrolled, trying to find a more secluded house. Then I found something perfect. It was like a little cottage type thing, but on a much bigger scale. It even came with farm land and such. "Look at this." I said, and handed her the phone

I took the phone and looked through the pictures. "Wow.. It's so beautiful! We could raise horses." I said with a grin.

"I've always wanted a horse.." I said, smiling. Just seeing her face light up, I knew it had to be the one. "There's an open house tomorrow." I said

"Where is it?" I asked. We might have to travel a little ways to get there.

"About an hour out from The edge of town." I said. "Not too bad." I said.

I nodded. "Okay. What time is the open house?"

"Looks like.. One." I said, looking up at her. "Its not that badly priced either." I said. "400,000..”

I smiled. "That's great." I said. "Let's hope we won't have too much competition."

"We will get it. Or really try." I said. "Besides there's quite a few like it as well." I said. "Let's see.. Four bedroom, two bathrooms.. Big kitchen .."

I smiled and kissed him. "Sounds perfect. And look! It has a fireplace."

I smiled widely. It was perfect, and I would do everything I could to make sure it was ours.

I smiled and finished my sandwich. "So, what time should we leave tomorrow?"

"11:30." I said, looking up at her, not crazy early." I said. After a while I was still on the site looking at the house. "It s going to be perfect for our family.."

I smiled and gently massaged his shoulders, kissing the top of his head. "It sure will.. I'm excited."

"Yeah.." I said, and j looked up at her. "Did you ever get the results back from the doctor? With your probability of having kids?" I asked her, and took her hand.

I sighed and looked down at our hands. "It's.... Possible.. But not very likely.. And if I do get pregnant.. I will most likely miscarry.."

I looked down, and sighed.. "We should try.." I said. "Whenever you're ready.." I said. "I'm ready at any time.."

"When you're completely healed, okay? I don't wanna hurt you." I said softly.

"Yeah. Yeah, of course." I said, and I stood, and hugged her softly.. "And let's promise each other to be careful.. And let's make sure no more shit happens to us. "

I nodded and hugged him back gently. "Okay." I mumbled. The next day we packed up some snacks and such and we were on our way to the dream house.

We took my car, and we were on our way to the house. The drive was pretty easy and the area it was in was nice. There was a little town near it, only a ten min drive from there to the home. When I got to the house, there was only two other cars there. This would be easy

It was even more beautiful in person. I took his hand and we went inside, introducing ourselves to the real estate agent.

She showed us around, and it was so perfect. It was included with furniture too, and all the appliances were updated. And there was even a movie room, with a projector..

My favorite was the backyard. So much land! There was a nice fence around to keep animals in, and there was even a barn for chickens and such.
