R-Reality? David didn't like the sound of that. Suddenly the room was foggy. David couldn't see his own hand in front of his face, let alone anyone else in the room. But he did see the bright light of Maya's... Whatever it was she had with her. It was dim, but he could barely see it. He decided to slowly creep towards it, so he got a bit low, ready to attack should anything sneak up and attack him.
-
As David was walking, Seraph appeard in front of him and all that was visible were purple eyes. Then to the left was the same thing, purple eyes, and the right and behined him. Their were 4 Seraph's all around David holding daggers. "This is the end David...goodnight."
-
Enki's flames made it easy to spot him in the fog, and he knew it. I've got to be on the defensive here.. He said. He backed up until his back hit the wall, and that'd taken away the burden of someone sneaking up behind him.
-
For Enki Seraph came out of the wall behined him with eyes glowing and a dagger to his Enki's neck. "Even when you think your safe...you arent"
-
As soon as Enki heard Seraph's voice, he turned around and swung his fist around, trying to hit whatever was behind him. "Guh!"
-
Seraph smiled as he got hit, the smash went right through his face. "Scared Enki? starting to see ghosts?"
-
"Oh? Is that so?..." Quick, you gotta think quick. You don't know what this guy will do, hurry up, think quickly!
Before he knew it, David whipped out his daggers, stabbing the one in front of him and flipping over him, and turning to face the others. Real versus illusion.. It doesn't make a difference here. He glanced towards the light. "Oi, Maya, you still there?... Can the others even hear me?.." He sighed, twirling his daggers around his fingers, ready to attack the others. It seems he did need his daggers after all.
-
"You're not real.." He said, mostly to himself. He didn't feel a magical presence from this decoy.
!
Enki found his solution to seeing in the fog. He quickly flew into the air, reaching the top portion of the large training room, there, he sensed the magical presences in the room.
That's Maya's... That's David's... So where is his?
The illusions being magical entities themselves, He decided to attack all of them, flying up to them and punching them, trying all of the illusions he could detect until he found the real Seraph.
-
"GAHH!!!"Seraph was in pain. The fog started to leave and all could be seen was Seraphs face in agony while his amulet was going nuts with energy, flickering on and off.gack...sorry guys...gunna have to cut this session short."Seraph ran out the door and disapeard into the city.
-
"What... Seriously? I stab you a little and you leave?..." ....Well then. David casually slid his daggers back into his pockets, and looked around, now that the fog was gone. "..Well, now what?"
-
There was no traces of blood on the floor, Seraph was in pain by his own amulet.
-
Maya raised an eyebrow, still protected by her little glowing minion. She could sense Seraph run away, and casually tried to sneak up on David, leaning an elbow on his shoulder. "Well, that escalated quickly." She looked around. "Are we still playing every man for himself?" The glowing minion appeared on the other side of David, and Maya's eyes were on Enki now.
-
"If you really think you can beat me, yes." Enki smirked, but kept his guard up as he noticed Maya's attention had turned to him.
"I remember..." Enzo could clearly remember activating his own Minus Fire. "My eye-" "Your right eye had gone blind, but thanks for the contact, it was healed." Spanner said. He went back over to the computer and typed up something. "I'm going to give you new contacts." Enzo changed back to his regular self, seeing no need in still being in it. There was a spell of silence casted on the room. The only sound was of Spanner's keyboard being used.
Finally, Enzo spoke up. "Why did you do it?" He asked. "Why did you help Aleister? Help me?" "One of my reasons was for my own good, the other being for research." "Research? what research?" Spanner turned around on his spinny chair. "Do you remember anything of your past?" He asked with a straight face. "My past? N-no.." "Your memory banks have been.. 'wiped', so to speak. You were brainwashed as a child."
I guess that makes sense... "If you had your memories, I could have confirmed my theory as to where you've come from. You're not human, that's for sure."
-
Seraph was just outside the school building, grunting and smashing the side of the wall. "Gahh! I cant keep...ugh...doing this." His hand tightly grasped his amulet, the amulet continued to flicker greatly, large amounts of energy was emanating from the centre. Alright, calm down..." Seraph grabbed his dagger from his side and unsheathed it. He held it firmly in his hand as he cut his palm. "Ah..." He pressed his blood on the amulet, the blood seemed to soothe the amulet down, slower and slower. Seraph collapsed and leaned against the wall. "Well, that ended well. Perhaps I should go back inside, maybe get a peak of what they are doing. They probably thought I was crazy for dashing out of there, that is no way of being honorable...or even how a lord would act." Seraph got up slowly and walked towards the entrance.
-
"It seems you are finally awake Enzo. I was worried you might have been stuck in a coma longer than I expected." Aleister had entered the room leaving Spanner to his own accord. The scars from Enzo's Minus Fire were being hidden away under his new suit. A lot more pristine than the last. Aleister turned to Spanner. "I do hope that you had no complication in tending to Enzo?" Aleister took his seat on one of the folding steel chair. "You have now unleashed the first step of the Minus Fire. You are now ready to move onto the next one. We are now to test your flame in combat. I do hope you have prepared the correct Moscas for the job. The funding I have sent to you have not been of any waste?"
-
"Of course not." Spanner replied. He resumed his work on the computer, finalizing some things concerning the new contacts. "The moscas are ready. I studied his flames for a while, and upgraded the machinery based off him." Spanner activated 3 of the moscas, one of them being bigger then the other two. The moscas appeared in a different room, ready to engage on his command.

Marcus's eyes opened wearily on the paper before him, the only words on it were 'Lesson Plan' in his own hand writing. It seemed he had fallen asleep while he was planning the curriculum for his class. Letting out a lathargic sigh, he stood up and stretched. "I'll work on it tomorrow, after the orientation." He mumbled to himself, checking the alarm clock on his desk. 10:15 PM. "Well, I'm awake. I might as well go for a stroll." Grabbing his coat, and a shot from his bottle of whiskey, he left his dorm and walked softly through the halls to the exit, so as not to disturb the people trying to sleep.
After a few minutes of wandering about in the dim light of the moon-lit hallways, he found himself back at the training room, the doors were open, and there was a light chatter coming from inside. If there were students in there, it was his right as a teacher to tell them to wrap things up and head to their rooms, or at least monitor things so no one got hurt. Looking inside, he saw David from before, a short blonde-haired girl with a aura of light emanating from her, a boy with long demonic-looking gloves and a solemn look on his face, and a tall late-teenage guy with raven hair, now dashing out of the room in some sort of distraught. "Looks like things are getting a bit heated in there." Marcus whispered to himself, "it'd probably be best if I monitored from the sidelines for now." He entered the room quietly, slinking into the shadows so he didn't distract the brawlers. The raven haired boy appeared at the entrance again, looking refreshed. "An illusionist..." It wasn't hard to catch on to that boy's abilities. Most people who dabble in the mind-arts have an 'air' about them, and to a skilled eye, are easy to point out in a crowd. "Things are about to get interesting..." Snickering and clearing his throat, he called out to the students. "If you guys really want to test your abilities, winner fights me." He shifted out of the shadows, putting his hands in his pockets, flashing his usual warm smile. Behind the friendly face, he was analyzing the movements of the kids, watching how the maneuvered, dodged, and the timing of their attacks. "This is going to be fun."
-
Who was this guy. Thought Seraph as he re-entered the training room. He cracked his neck and pulled out his dagger. "Now, in order to not have another one of those...episodes, I am going to have to resort to this..." Seraph cut his hand and smashed it on the ground, creating a pentagram around him. "It is time to get serious." His eyes glowed purple. Let him watch.
-
"Hey, I'm down for whatever. Every man for himself, two versus one, whatever." David grinned as he cracked his knuckles again, and pushed up his glasses. When Seraph came back in, he frowned. He watched as he did some weird stuff, seeming to be serious about it this time. What's he trying to accomplish here exactly?
-
Smoke started rising from the corners of the pentagram. "Keeping control, is key. I have something to proove to myself..." Seraph spoke calmly, as he rose slowly from the markings on the ground. "But, now isn't that time...David." Seraph dashed towards David as if he was possessed by a demon, his face had no expression; Seraph seemed more determined than ever. In both hands were two daggers, he flung one of them at David's head and in quick succession vanished into thin air appearing beside David, swinging his other arm towards Davids chest with the dagger. Two daggers, one target.
-
Venciersio was stricken with a shocked expression. "It is between you and me, isn't it? I keep falling for Malinda's illusions. She managed to trick me again..." He turned over his shoulder and saw her behind him, prepared to strike. "Your friend...what is he?" Volitaire looked down at Silver and back at Venciersio. He was finally in control of his own actions, though how he's able to do this is still a mystery to him.
-
David heard his name and perked up, seeing Seraph charging at him. He lightly shoved Maya out of the way, making sure it wasn't hard enough to make her fall over, and dodged the dagger he threw at him. Seraph disappeared and reappeared next to David, swinging at him with the dagger. He simply leaned back, bending his knees and keeping his hands in his pockets, leaning just enough to avoid getting hit, and grabbed Seraph's arm. He attempted to twist his arm around so he could have a good hold on Seraph.
Silver frowned, staring at Venciersio. Man, she was sick of him calling her Malinda. She grinned when he asked her what Voltaire was; she didn't even know herself. But she was glad he was on her side.
-
Enki's flames had long since been put out. He had been watching ever since Marcus came in. It's not like I can go all out on them. He thought, as he observed the fight.
-
Venciersio chuckled. "I see. You'll play this game too. Well then. You have all chance to strike. Why aren't you taking it?" Volitaire grew tired of Venciersio's voice. He slowly walked, his feet kicking up the aura from his shadow. His sword appeared, it was longer and sleeker than before. Venciersio turned to Volitaire, smirking at his approach. "The fight really begins now..." He thought.
-
Seraph reacted by swinging around Davids body, ending up behined him. Seraph was now in a choke hold position, holding David as tight as he could at his neck."You indeed are a tricky one..." Seraph still a blank expression on his face. Chains shot up from the ground, attempting to lock David's legs and arms firmly into position. Meanwhile, a hooded figure rose up infront of David, wielding a dagger. The hooded figure lunged at David with impeciable speed and Seraph jumped backwards away from the shot. Hopefully, I wont miss this time.
-
David watched as Seraph jumped behind him, and held him. He tried to not struggle, considering struggling would only make breathing more difficult. He felt chains around his legs, and chuckled. He has to tie me down to attack me, well, that says something, doesn't it? Suddenly a hooded figure appeared before him, and he stared at it. He noticed the dagger, and felt how Seraph jumped back, letting go of him. Now's my chance! David leaned back, barely avoiding the dagger; it did cut his shoulder a little, but nothing too serious. After leaning, he fell on his hands, into a bridge position. He looked down at the chains around his legs, and the hooded figure that was now leaning over him. He quickly pulled out one of his daggers and stabbed at the figure, hoping that it would hit it and make it go away.
"I'm going to let Voltaire take care of this. He seems to have it covered, anyways." Silver replied, crossing her arms.
-
The hooded figure looked up, you could see wolf like teeth smiling at David. The figure welcomed the attack and it seeped right into him. The figure grabbed a hold of David's arm and pushed the blade deeper into his chest, making sure David stayed close. The figure jabbed quick and strong right towards David's stomach as he held David close to his chest. Seraph on the other hand was doing an incantation in the back. "Drekma, Kashi...Malahem" Almost whispering the sounds, a dark cloud started to rise around Seraph.
-
Maya was watching David and Seraph battle for a bit, but now was her time to attack Enki. She had a small obsession about his mysterious personality, and she also happened to love fights now. Her minion slowly faded out of existence, his lifespan naturally being very short. This is my chance, she growled, the animal coming out in her. Maya tested the limits of her senses, and found that she would have an extreme ability to not get hit if she could pay more attention to them, but this meant she could not command minions. Minions took a lot of focus to control, she thought.
Maya casually stepped around the fight, seeming as if she was merely heading for the door. Then, she dashed for Enki. Her hands unintentionally coated themselves in her acidic liquid (the same kind that her shining minions were made of), and she went for a punch to his chest.
-
Just as Silver finished her sentence Volitarie ran, splitting his shadow and kicking it up behind him. With sword in hand he swung his sword with great strength and speed. Venciersio had a bit of trouble parrying it off with his cloaked hands, his sword was a black blur. "He's faster than before. I'll need to shield myself better this time." Venciersio's palms bursts forth more Spatial power and covered his body in a dome, Volitaire held the dome back with his hand and was pushed back a bit, remaining unharmed. Venciersio went back to his cloaked fists and ducked while dashing forward winding his hand back for another punch. Volitaire vanished and appeared in Venciersio shadow kicking him to the ground, he crashed into the rubble. "Ghuk!" Venciersio levitated off the ground and jumped back. "Playing around, eh!?" He shot a large Spatial blast, Volitaire stood there and eyed it for a moment. "What's this for..?" He looked at the three lines of runes rotating around his right hand. He pushed his hand forward at the blast and the lines expanded into a larger circles. The blast was stopped, also it completely disappeared when it impacted his hand. The runes looked as if they were activated, making a high-pitched humming. "The blast..is gone? But the runes are powered." He pointed his hand back out and a Spatial blast was shot back out, the runes expanded even more at the attack. "He returned the attack!?" Venciersio guarded himself but was blown back from the blast and crashed through the forest behind him. Trees fell and dirt was kicked up into the air after him. "When will you finally take me seriously, Ven?"
-
Enki got hit sqaure in the chest for his lack of attention. He fell back, the area in which he was punched burned intensely. "What the..?!" He was more surprised at the fact that he couldn't sense her until she attacked. He rolled backwards onto his feet, and reignited his flames. "So you want to go?" He said, getting into an attacking stance.
