The Black Hole continued to vacuum everything in front of it. Soon there was a large crevice being broken away. Volitaire was still struggling to hang on. His rings flare was stronger now and he had an idea. "It's a stretch!" The ring wildly arced and ignited like a flame and he fire a single Spatial blast into the hole. It was much stronger with the rings influence. The blast went inside the hole as Venciersio watched. He wasn't even sure of the next development. The black hole was stretched from the back and pushed in from the front, soon it closed. Volitaire took deep breathes, happy he was able to stop it. Without warning a force blew from the spot the hole was once in. Rocks, trees, and other debris was blown out from the sudden explosion. Venciersio took cover under a Spatial shield, Volitaire dashed away. It was clear Volitaire was beginning to get low on Manna. His Virus' Manna grew even stronger and the ring was reacting to it. He was getting tired, the Spatial blast took a lot out of him. Venciersio looked over to the crouching Volitarie and say his hand glowing like fire. "What is that...another spell? Fire?" Volitaire stood up and held his heart. The Virus was eating at him, and it was harder to fight back. The more he did the more the ring violently flared. "I'm not going to be able to keep this up...but what's with the ring? It's becoming increasingly stronger...is my Virus influencing this thing!?" Before he knew it Venciersio was standing before him. "That ring..." Volitaire prepared a cursed fireball in his right hand but was whisked away by Venciersio and landed on his back. They both were in the large crevice. While on the ground, the aura began to cover over Volitaire's body, but the ring was still present on his finger. Venciersio took note of this. "What ever it is...and whatever it does. I'm not allowing it." He prepared a large black ball, and aimed to blast Volitaire to dust. Volitaire got up, he was pitch black all over, the Virus had finally taken him. He jumped back quickly and green and black fires erupted behind him. They curved and sparked, surrounding Volitaire. Venciersio looked at the large flaming tsunami forming behind him. "This..that reckless power you have. Heh, you made this easy for me." "Burn.." Volitaire threw his hand out and the flaming waves shot at Venciersio. "It's as if this form had made you forget everything!" He took the flames and compressed them into a small sphere. The flames spun and swirled around in his palm. "Have it back.." He casually tossed it back at Volitaire, he tried to evade but it exploded in a large column of fire. Burning him alive, Volitaire's body could be seen in falling in the fire. "Hm, he can't get a grasp of his own power. Though, this state is different...it's as if he abandons reason, for aggression. He's done that the last battle..." Venciersio thought back on it, Volitaire in a rage was overtaken by his Virus, he threw attacks quickly and relentlessly, but ignored a defensive stratagem, and ignored weaknesses of the opponents. Venciersio easily dispatched him last battle, rendering him unconscious. "Hmm..all this fire. He couldn't have survived. How careless...I'm shocked Malinda hasn't arrived. I wonder how she'll take her friends death." The column of fire was still strong, Venciersio stood before it waiting for Silver.
"Where exactly are we going anyways?" Seraph said as he looked around the strange new city. "I would love to see you guys in action."He says this with a straight face, eyeing the three of them.
David walked alongside Maya, who tugged on his arm. Perhaps she was eager as well! He smiled, and responded. "Well, I suppose we shall!" He walked along, looking around the school, trying to absorb his surroundings. Hearing Seraph's question, he responded. "We're going to the training room."
"I would wonder too, if he was actually dead, that is." Silver appeared behind Venciersio. "Call me Malinda one more time, old man. That's not my name." Silver brought out her sword again, which appeared to be a bit longer, and attacked him head on, expecting him to block. "My name. Is. Silver."
10:30PM
Enki followed with the group. He stayed silent most of the time, pondering if it would be best if he used his hyper form against them. He occasionally glanced between his peers.
While David and Seraph were in her line of sight, she was also keeping tabs on Enki with her sensing abilities. Couldn't have him fall behind. "I guess all of our fighting abilities will be a surprise to one another. New people are so much more interesting to fight with." She grinned maliciously.
After walking and assessing things about both David and Seraph, the school came into view. "Ah..." She wondered how late into the night they kept the training room open.
It seemed as if Seraph was staring into blank space when he saw the school. He looked at it with anger and thought to himself If only I knew then...what I do now. He continued to walk straight up untill he was near the school's doors."Where to from here?"
Venciersio coated his hand in a Spatial field and swatted the sword away, with his other hand he shot a blast to push Silver back. "You ignore the name your mother gave you for some cheap mineral." Venciersio laughed. "I'll put you down just like I did with Volitaire." Suddenly, a red fire bursts and pushes the cursed flames away. Volitaire stood there, with a look of total malice at Venciersio. His aura was rising exponentially, two strands of the aura broke free and turned into inscribed runes. They spun around Volitaire in a "X" shape. His eyes remained the same, but his hair grew longer. The aura swirled around him and the ground tore from the high speeds of his aura's movements. It first turned white and turned into his original dress shirt, and the black coated over the shirt and his current pants. His first suit jacket was created, but with tears at the jackets edges and sleeves. His pants mimicked the jacket, gaining rips at the bottom. Chains flew from his sleeves and surrounded his wrists and ankles, his hands were coated in black and formed claw-like fingers. His hair grew longer as well. His wings from his Icarus spell opened and blew the X spinning runes away, causing a large wind to blow by. Finally, the flames of his ring turned into three separate embers, also becoming runes. The middle was the biggest while the two on in front and back of it remained the same size. The spun around his right hand slowly. His aura has become its most sinister and thick yet. His own shadow became a rising aura itself. After the transformation was done, his face calmed and he eyed Volitaire. "Venciersio...this is between you and me. You'll answer for her after wards."
"This way, dear Seraph." Maya walked in, looking around first for school guards. She wondered if they were breaking some sort of rule. Then, she walked toward the stairs which lead to the training room. This should be interesting...
Seraph followed closely to Maya, Calling me...dear? Seraph wasn't amused. He put one hand in his jacket, as if he was holding something. "hmph..." Seraph looked behined him, ensuring Enki and David were still with them, he was very suspicious of these three now. His amulet glowed for a split second and then stopped.
The school is chilly, empty, and quiet. The floors have already been cleaned, and most of the lights have been turned off by now.
The door to the training room is open.
Seraph seemed a bit uneasy for some reason suddenly, though David remained silent about it. They arrived in the training room and David ran to the middle and stretched out. "Ahh, it feels nice to be here. Are you ready, Maya?" he asked as he looked back to her, smiling.
Meanwhile, Silver watched from a good distance away as Voltaire seemed to transform. What was this power? And Venciersio didn't even realize the Silver that was behind him was an illusion. She smirked.
Maya sensed the tension again and began to think. Maybe I'm being too confident in my abilities she thought, and frowned. The bottom of the staircase opened up into a hallway, with large metal doors looming at the end. Upon walking closer, they automatically opened to reveal the training room. "This is some of my friends' favorite place, right here. In my opinion, they might take training a little too seriously."
She sat down in a corner, stretching her wrists and fingers. "Ready when you are."
Seraph stared into the open space, his hand was still in his jacket. "Hmm...so whose first?"Seraph looked dead serious, as if he was mad, but their was still a sense of comfort to his voice. Calmly he went to a corner and leaned on the wall, waiting for a response.
Seraph took off his jacket and placed it neatly on the floor, revealing a nice white dress shirt with the top buttons unbuttoned, he was carrying a rather large dagger at his side.
Without warning, Enki ignited his red flame, pushing back the air around him. His demonic gloves formed on his hands, and extended up his arm. "I'm ready." He said to them.
David grinned. "I'll go first, but I can't attack a lady. It's against my morals." If she attacked first was an entirely different story. He crossed his arms, nodding, and waiting for someone to attack him. Even if it wasn't Maya.
"You should get to pick who you battle first," Maya said, looking at Seraph. "I don't know about David, but I think we're all pretty lethal." She smiled, showing her teeth almost in a threatening manner. Whoever went up against her, she would show no mercy.
She stood up, curling her fingers into fists.
With a split seconds notice Seraphs eyes glowed and caused the dagger he was carrying to turn to three, he whipped them at Maya, David and Enki with stunning speed and percision, aiming at their hearts.
Enki grabbed the dagger just before it hit him in the chest. He looked at it. I have to remember to hold back. He nodded at the thought, and tossed away the dagger.
"Oi!! I'm plenty lethal, thank you!" David huffed. Just because he didn't use magic didn't mean he couldn't take them all down easily! Suddenly he noticed a dagger was thrown at him, with incredible speed. He easily stepped to the side to dodge it, and pushed up his glasses. Is that how we're going to play?
Maya simply leaned out of the way. I guess he has to learn about my abilities the hard way. She looked over at Enki and planned her attack. Even though they were friends now, she still wanted revenge for him hitting her, if only to prove her skills to herself.
Seraph smiled "Oh...my daggers didnt work, no matter" he motioned his hand upwards and the daggers started to float. "Well since three isn't enough..." The Daggers had tripled in amount, now their was 9 daggers flying in the air. "Get them." The daggers cut through the air like a speeding bullet, three daggers for each target.
Enki noticed the daggers multiply in numbers. He jumped back beforehand to gain some space in case it lanched at him again, which it did. Attribute of the Sky: Serene Mind. Enki closed his eyes, and he walked past the daggers, moving like a drunk to avoid them narrowly. He opened his eyes once the daggers had passed him, then, he shot Seraph a look. He really isn't a joke...
David sighed, simply catching all three of them in one had, one between each finger. He does this as if he thinks I've never had daggers thrown at me before.. He took one with his free hand and twirled it around. Not as nice as mine. "So, is this one versus one versus one versus one? Or three versus one.. Etcetera..."
Maya was caught off guard, but her ability's automatic reaction instantly summoned a being made of light to float before her, easily and painlessly absorbing the hits. The being (or minion) was very attention catching due to how brightly it shined. "Well, well.." Maya smiled and examined her minion, which was nearly too bright for her to look at.
Seraph eyes grew a purple as he motioned his hands, all 9 daggers evaporated. Davids daggers that were caught by him turned into King Cobras, trying to poison him.
"Wh- WHOA!" David threw the cobras away, realizing something. "Did those just.." He looked back to Seraph. "Are you... Was that an illusion?" He should have figured. He has had plenty of encounters with illusionists. That must have been why David thought the vibe he got from him was similar to Silver's. He frowned. David was never too good with knowing the difference, but somehow it always ended up alright.
Seraph shook his head. "You are half correct David, although these are illusions they are much more than that." he smiled as he raised his hand "Mine...become reality."A giant fog rolled in, virtually blinding everyone making it almost immpossible to see.
Opening his eyes to see an industrial looking ceiling, Enzo quickly sat up. "Huh? Where?!" He shouted, sounding like a old, crazy man. Across the room was Spanner, who was tinkering with his laptop. "Try and quiet down, please." He said, sucking on a lollipop in his mouth. Enzo put a hand to his head, and looked around. Huh, I've got a strong case of Deja vu. He thought.
"Where am I?" He asked the mechanic. "My quarters." He said sternly. "Hey - Enter your dying will mode, will you?" He asked. Enzo was confused, but he wasn't going to say no. Enzo stood up, and ignited his normal sky flame. Spanner stood up and walked over to him.
