JD looked perplexed. “Tell you what earlier-?” He remarked casually. It was then an internal light bulb came on. “Oh about- the- ah- Voltaire leaving- yes. Urgent mission tell Eos, and I forgot.” Those brows knitted. “So I guess he came back,” and then he glanced at Eos’s order. “And left again. Really- does he have like stationary ADD or something? Next time I see him we are having nice long talk about proper dating etiquette. For instance: do not make the twin brother responsible message delivery.” It was then JD sat up straighter and sighed, “look sis- I didn’t do it on purpose. I just- ah- a lot of things happened between then and now.” Those eyes had a rather knowing look, and he didn’t want to voice his thoughts around the others.
About that time he was interrupted by a boy he didn’t quite know. JD wondered who this was and where he had come from and why he seemed so persistent in making friends. “Sure- bloody sure- lets be best friends forever. We can exchange bracelets, and braid each other’s hair, and tell each other our deepest darkest secrets, and have pillow fights- and all that other shit. Yeah- sounds awesome.” JD stated in a monotone voice. “Bugger off- the only two people that want to be your friend are this guy,” he lifted his right middle finger. “And this guy,” and then his left middle finger before he turned back around to Eos.
