The Coming Darkness

She looked back at David, giving a curt nod in response, "Nice to meet you too, David." Sasha grinned, then frowned as he continued, "It wasn't a big deal man, you seriously don't need to thank me for it."

The older man had walked out of the room while Sasha had been thinking to herself after Enzo left, and she'd missed seeing him go. Ah well. Sasha noted Enki leaning against the wall of the training room. She didn't know the male very well, and didn't trust him either, seeing as he'd attacked the group just a few days ago. Sasha frowned down at him, "What're you thinking about?"

Enki looked up to Sasha, and realized they were the only two in the room. "Sky isn't feeling like himself right now." He looked down at himself, as if he were to blame. "I.. feel bad for doing that to him."

Sasha let out a simple, "Pfft," in return. A snort slipped through her mouth as a hand placed itself on her hip, "You shouldn't feel as though it were your fault," Sasha replied, "Just focus on the present, and stop pondering around the past, think about what you can do to make things better, now, and not what you should have done before, idiot."

This was what Sasha had learned from her short time with Team Valor, and it was to think only about supporting her...her friends. If she messed up, no worries, there would always be a second chance. And that was the value that Sasha would stand by until she died; she swore it.

His change in emotion was apparent not only in his voice but in his quickly changing aura. It worried her, by no means did she want him to be upset with JD or hurt him in any way - the situation was just plain confusing emotionally for anyone involved.

In the distance she could see that they were coming up on none other than JD and Silver, with every step Eos found herself getting more nervous at discussing the subject at hand, causing her to stop momentarily and look Volitaire in the eyes.

"Just... please, try and not discuss this in front of anyone else? I don't want anyone else to know of his affliction and I don't want you to say something that can bring up any suspicion - even in front of Silver." Leaning in she gave him a warm kiss on the cheek, "I don't want to ruin whatever he may have going for himself." All in all she would always care for JD, and despite the circumstances deserved a life just like any other teen.

Giving him a smile she continued to walk with him until they met up with Silver and JD. "What are you guys doing out here?"

"I won't. I wouldn't want to ruin anything for Silver either. So, I'll pull him out when Silver's gone." He turned to see Silver and JD. He was almost certain Silver was going to chew him out for not resting, but right now he couldn't really care for it.

"I don't expect him to forgive me anytime soon." Enki stood up, and put his hands in his pocket. "He seems to care about you too, Cloud. Should we go pay him a visit?"

"Leaving so soon?" Ling in his military like get up came up from behind the two. "And just when I have enough time to discuss stuff with the two of you." Ling eyed both Enki and Sasha. "So you must be Enki, Enzo's old-new friend. We have not got a chance to talk properly. I am Enzo's new-new friend just to let you know." His grin was on a normal level but somewhat it was coming off as devilish as he just can not hold his emotion in as he was talking to Enki. "Now that I have conveniently gotten the two of you here, this makes my job so much more easier."

Silver heard people behind them and looked to see Voltaire and Eos walking towards them. "Voltaire! Didn't I tell you to rest?" She glared at him, but realized if Eos was with him, she probably healed him. Silver decided to let it slide this time, but she would sure let him have it later.

Looking to Eos, Silver spoke. "We were going to get something to eat, would you two like to join us?" She figured the more, the merrier.

Meanwhile in the cafe, David was sitting there eating what seemed like a feast. Other people around him stared as he scarfed plate after plate down, showing almost no sign of stopping. He couldn't help it though.

Enki gave Ling his blank expression. 'New-new friend'? He knew that Enzo had alot of friends now, so it didn't surprise him one bit. "What do you need?" He asked in a calm voice.

Flashing Silver a smile she nodded, "That sounds perfect..." She hadn't realized it until now - but she hadn't had a single thing to eat all day. Sure this was going to push back the plan to talk to JD, but it would seem suspicious if they were to deny a meal and run off with JD leaving Silver alone.

Without hesitation, she tugged Volitaire alone who honestly didn't let on that he was all that hungry - but seemed to be the type who would go along just to please Eos. "I wonder what they'll have, I could really go for something nice and warm right now. Oh, and do you guys know where the others are?"

Sasha's immediate reaction to Ling was to glare; for some odd reason, the male annoyed her very much, "And that job would be?" she asked, a harsh tone to her voice.

"They might have some soup or something," She started thinking about what sort of things they might have on their menu and smiled a little. "And Sasha was with us not too long ago, but she ran off." Silver explained, still a bit irritated that Sasha just ditched them like that, but at the same time she really didn't mind. "I'm not sure where any of the others are at all." She frowned as her stomach made some light rumbly noises. It would seem she was hungry as well.

As they came to the doors of Sorcerers, the group slipped inside. It seemed Eos hadn't familiarized herself with the building enough and was at a loss of which direction to go in - but the sweet scent of food made it's way to her nose, guiding her in the right direction. "We need to exchange cell phone numbers, or get something that makes it easier to get a hold of one another. I always worry..."

Artur frowns. "It's just a welcoming gift. I know how you are about flowers. Don't you get any ideas Charlotte!" His brow creases in worry at the possible jabs going through her head.

4:00PM
Students who had been attending school, are finally being released. Expect the school to be crowded.

"It means it's your job to solve conflicts." Kenji told him. "And as Sky, you are the flame that holds together the rest. Stand by that." Enzo saw the group entire the school from his window. Kenji noticed the worry on his face. "You're the leader of the 7 Guardians of Magic. Nothing can harm you or your friends."

Kenji walked over to the computer and turned it on. "Now go socialize with your friends before I tell Sasha you like her."
Enzo shot up at this. "F-fine!" He shouted as he got on some new clothes, and rushed out of the room, heading for his friends.

"I am still out to recruit people like you two into the disciplinary council but apparently I was given some different orders from the headmaster himself." Then various students started to make their way down the stairs and some of them who were using non-detecting spells just popped up. A whole gang of disciplinary students had encircled the three of them. "Don't get me wrong, the only reason why I have a posse around is just for insurance." The various students were talking to amongst each other. "Mr. Ling isn't one bit intimidated by the Russian Tiger." "Just standing here gives me the chill." "So that's the BRK's best friend, or so I was told." "He doesn't look that strong, I saw a bunch of guys just easily picking him off at the back of the school." Ling let out a wide grin and a laugh came to him. "You two sure made a name for yourselves amongst the student body. Team Valor is already a legend in these books. Well either way, it won't be long before the group gets disband." The crowd then lined up to let through another person into the circle. Aleister walked toward the two with just a soft smile on his face. Joanne was attentively standing behind the man. Ling went to stand next to his partner. "I hope I have cause any alarm, I was told about some behavior problem from the famous Ms. Vetochkin. The committee were just worried something brash might happen. This is our first time meeting, I am the headmaster Aleister Crowley. Please to make your acquaintance."

"Ah, that would be a good idea- If I had a cell phone.." Silver frowned. She was never allowed anything of the sort, and never really bothered to get one when she could afford it anyways. She, too, smelled the sweet smell of food in the air and walked towards it, casually slipping through the crowds of people who suddenly filled the halls. "You don't need to worry about me, anyways. I like to think of myself as immortal." Silver looked back to Eos, making sure she was still following, and grinned. She was teasing, for the most part. When you thought about Silver and her life, she had survived some pretty horrible things. Because of this, she was willing to take anything that life threw at her. "I won't go down without a real fight," she commented, more for herself than anything, and looking forward again. Before too long, she found herself in front of the cafe. She turned and waited for the rest of her little group to catch up before she went in.

Not too far away, David was still eating, almost reaching his limit. He looked at all the empty plates he had, and counted them. "Oh geez.. That's a lot of money..." He pulled out his wallet and counted the bills he had in them, sighing a bit. "I think it will be enough!" he said to himself confidently. It was then he noticed the large crowds of people walking by, seeing all of them chatting among themselves and going who knows where. David watched in awe, wondering what sort of powers and abilities each one of them had. He tried to make guesses in his head for a few people, but really, who knows? He saw a couple cute girls walk by too, but frowned. I'm sure they'd never even want to talk to me. I can't even use magic! I'm nowhere near their levels. He sighed again, leaning back in his chair and simply observing everyone walking by. What a fascinating place!

Pulling the flask from his lips, and placing it back in his pocket, he noticed David leave the training room, giving him a wave. Marcus waved back. "I hope he didn't see me, how embarrassing. He seemed alright though, so I guess no worries." He began to walk away from the training room and back to the main entrance, he watched as students came out of the building in waves, they were all smiling, laughing and had an air of relief about them. "Classes are over I guess, I should probably get back to my room anyway." Suddenly, he heard the low voices just barely echoing from the iron doors, they were voices he didn't recognize, more students, or teachers perhaps? He turned and pressed his ear against the door, listening in on the conversation. The words 'Team Valor' 'disbanded' and 'headmaster' peaked his curiosity, they sounded threatening, definitely not a typical friendly conversation between academy attendees. Being new to the school, he realized it probably wasn't much of his business, regardless, someone's life could possibly be in danger. He'll stand and listen a bit longer, and then make his move, if the need arises.

She immediately went on her guard as soon as she saw the group of students appear from around Ling, assuming a fighting stance, "I knew I couldn't trust you..."

Aleister then came into view, rambling about some kind of behavior Sasha had expressed. The female narrowed her eyes, water becoming to condense around her, "And? The hell do you want?"

Listening to Artur attempting to clear himself up, Charl let out yet another giggle, "Like I said, you're silly, Artur. I wouldn't do something like that."

Maya had finally found her way back to the real world. She had no idea where her and Ryuu ventured off to, but it seems they had been gone far too long. She trodded through the village near the school, having to have been dropped off far away. She walked for what seemed like a long time before arriving at her dorm. Not surprisingly, unfamiliar students were swarming in, as it seemed school had ended. She sighed and followed some of the crowd, going into her dorm room and changing out of her clothing. Upon sitting down on her bed, she sighed and rubbed her stomach. She had not eaten for a long while.

"The cafe it is." She trodded out in the same manner. I'm sure the rest of 'Team Valor' has a grip on whatever went down. She walked towards the cafe, having a battle with Ryuu in her head the whole way. He strongly did not like anyone in the group, or, humans, for that matter.

When she walked in she just saw more unfamiliar faces and shook her head. Grabbing the biggest tray she could find, she bought a large assortment of food and sat down in the back, not caring what others thought of her.

It wasn't long before the four of them came around the corner to see a large group of stiff looking students and an adult who she could only assume worked at the school standing around her friends.

Alone, this would have been a different story. But she was with her brother, Volitaire and Silver, those who would be equally as upset with the sight. "Excuse me!" Putting her hands on her hips she looked over at Sasha and Enki, "Sasha? Enki? What's going on... who are all these people?" Her accent flowed rather sweetly through her words, despite her serious tone. Sure, Sasha had a tendency to get feisty but it certainly didn't call for her to be treated like some kind of wild animal.

Different orders? Enki repeated in his head. He didn't know how the schools worked in the real world, so he wouldn't question it too much. Soon, Aleister showed up from the crowd of students. As he listened to him talk, and see Sasha enter a battle stance, he looked down at himself. I wish Sky were here...


Meanwhile, Enzo was just leaving the dorm room. He was in no hurry to meet his friends, not after what had happened. He felt embarrassed just walking outside. He took his time reaching the school.What am I even going to say? He wondered.

Silver turned to see what Eos was so worked up about, only to see Sasha, Enki, and a large group of students with them, as well as Ling, some guy she didn't know, and Joanne. She was a bit confused. When they got closer, she spoke out to them. "Is there a problem here?" She was willing to help Sasha and Enki if necessary, and at this rate, it might be.

Still not that far away, David had been observing everyone. He saw a rather cute girl gather up a bunch of food and sit. But she was sitting by herself. Why? He couldn't allow that. David got up, saw the bill for his food, and had to sit back down again for a moment to check that he had enough money. Whew, he did. He stood back up and casually walked over to her, looking around the area to see if she had a secret boyfriend about to come in and swoop her up. When there was no one, he casually sat down next to her. "Um.. Hi there, my name is David, and I'm kind of new around here.. You looked lonely, so I decided to come join you.. Uh, I mean, if that's alright. I can leave if you'd rather be alone." He offered her an innocent, almost apologetic look. He didn't want to intrude, but he didn't want anyone to be alone if they didn't want to be. He never enjoyed being alone when he actually wanted company, so why should anyone else feel that way.

Maya had stared at her food for long enough before finally pushing it away. For whatever reason, she could not eat and had the strong urge to find her friends. She was about to stand up, but her thoughts were calmed when a strange boy took a seat next to her. Seeing him pushed away whatever anger Ryuu had been stirring in her mind, and her normal personality returned. With her normal personality came a little embarassment.
"David, is it?" She smiled innocently. "I'm sorry," she chuckled, "I just haven't talked to anyone in a while, but you're welcome to sit with me. I don't think I'll be eating any of this, though. It seems I've gathered up too much food for myself."

Ryuu was out lounging somewhere by a river, watching passively as small fish swam by but as far away from him as possible. In his large size (9 feet at the shoulder), he casted a large shadow over the river. A large swarm of fish was passing by. Ryuu malevolently outstretched his arm and slammed his claws down into the river, making all of the fish scatter. He sort of chuckled at this, when he heard crunching leaves behind him.

"Ohh.. You should try to eat some of it. You don't want to starve yourself!!" He was curious about her and her abilities, but he didn't want to pry; she seemed upset about something. David leaned his head on his hand after leaning his elbow on the table, and spoke again. "Is everything alright? You seem a bit tense. Err- You don't have to talk if you don't want to, I just don't like seeing people upset. Especially not such a cute girl like yourself!" He frowned. He wasn't really trying to be flirty or anything, he was just concerned. He would get this way about anyone who deemed him worthy enough to speak to, no matter who they were. He loved making people happy.

Though remaining quiet throughout the entire endeavor, he managed to keep to his thoughts. "That's a friebrand you got there, Enzo..." He ignored Enki, not really having much to say about him, or where his standings is with Enzo or anyone else for that matter. All he could really do was stick by Eos and make sure she didn't get hurt in the crossfire. "You sure you want to stick around in all this sudden chaos?" He turned to look at her.

Maya looked down at her food, and then back up. "I don't know, I am starving, but... I can't eat." She pushed the food around some more before settling back in her seat. She fiddled with her ring absentmindedly. Then the boy spoke again.

Maya slightly frowned at him. 'Cute?' What does he really want? "It's a bit hard to explain. Even my own friends don't understand it." She sighed.

Meanwhile, Ryuu was face to face with a group of brave young students. He looked over them boredly before standing up and stretching out his wings to show his full size. He pondered killing them for their mistake, finally deciding one or two of them would do. As he roared, they scattered, and on the inside Ryuu smiled.

Maya heard Ryuu's loud thoughts and her eyes widened. ".. I- I'm sorry, but I have to go!" She bolted, attacking Ryuu with a barriage of her own thoughts and commanding him as best she could.

"This is just a simple matter of quickening Enzo's training. I will be taking Enzo away from his daily routine in order to train him further. This would mean I will have to strip him from his Team Valor duties as well he no longer be allow to see any of his friends while training. I just thought it would be wise if you heard this from me. Enzo does not know about it yet, his closest friends were to be notified first." Ling stepped in. "We assume the two of you would have time to discuss this with everyone else. We're a bit on a tight schedule and need to get some stuff smooth out." Aleister reconvened the coversation. "Once Enzo have received the news, you will have time to say your farewells. I am putting you, Allochka Vetochkin as the temporary leader of Team Valor in his absence."

Sasha had nothing to say. Nothing.

I can't see that idiot....? For how long? And what-

She nearly smacked herself at how mushy she was being. When did she let herself go soft?

Sasha snapped herself back to reality, and gave a curt nod towards Aleister, "Fine. But you better give him back, ya hear?"

It became clear that the others were of no matter - and Eos just stood to the side, but continued to listen in. Her eyes widened at the news, looking to Volitaire, "This is ridiculous, what kind of training is he going through?" She couldn't help but get a strange feeling from it all. It didn't help that most everyone involved gave off a fake vibe. Maybe it was those smiles. Those strangely calm smiles.
