JD couldn’t offer anything to disperse the fire- honestly. After all that trifling complaint he couldn’t much help beyond just making sure that no one else caught a flame. After that finished he splintered off from the group in hopes of finding Silver assured that she was somewhere in this mess- and also assured he might vomit in his mouth if he hung around Enzo and Sasha’s near-flirting for any longer than he had.
Unfortunately breaking off from the group happened to be a terrible idea because he inevitably got himself turned around twice (alright three times), and ended up nowhere. That led him to being alone with his thoughts for an explicit amount of time which in turn was probably worse than getting lost in the forest to begin with.
The crisp call of voices alerted him to the other’s presence and inevitably back to Enzo, Sasha, and- hooray- Silver. “Alright I’m never going in that damn forest again. I feel like bloody Hansel when I do, and unfortunately I don’t stuff bread in my pockets like a fatass to find my way back.” JD nearly hissed, but he smiled afterwards- glad to see everyone else.
