Cautious Love

I nodded, listening to her. "I wish I knew her.. she seemed like such a fun and beautiful person.." I said softly, continuing to rub her back in calm circles.

I sighed and closed my eyes. "I wish I could just forget..." I whispered. "She was just.. The first person who ever loved me and meant it." I choked on the other half of my sentence and I squeezed my eyes shut and cried silently.

"Hey.." I said gently, and I brought my legs on the bed, snd I pulled her halway in my lap. And I gently ran my fingers through her hair, trying to calm her.. I also wiped a tear away with my thumb. "Its okay... shh..."

I took deep, shaky breaths, until I calmed down and finally stopped crying.

"Everything will feel better over time.. I promise.." I whispered, continuing to do the comforting movements from before.

I sighed and looked up into her eyes. "I hope so.."

"I promise.." I whispered, kissing her forehead softly. "Feel a little better?" I asked her.

I nodded and smiled slightly. "Yes. Thank you.."

"That's good.." I whispered, and I glanced at her door. "Maybe.. I should.get home now.." I whispered.

I sighed, and looked down. "Please don't leave..." I whispered.

"O..Okay.." I whispered, and I stayed where I was, and I just kept her in my arms.. god.. I really like this, being with her..

I snuggled up to her and closed my eyes, slowly drifting off.

After her breathing evened out, I closed my eyes also.. I slept amazingly.. her in my arms..

When I woke up the next morning, I didn't want to move and wake her up. So I remained still, listening to her steady breathing and heartbeat.

I groaned sleepily and I was surprised to see both her and I covered up, and the door closed. I dont remember.her getting up. Must have been her Mom. I looked down at her, to see her eyes half open. I smiled, and I rubbed her shoulder gently. "Hey.."

I smiled and opened my eyes all the way, lookin up at her. "Good morning." I mumbled sleepily.

I slowly sat up, allowing her to do the same, and I laid back neside her, not wanting to honestly get up quite yet.

I got up and used the bathroom and brushed my teeth, then I went back and laid down next to her, yawning softly.

I glanced at the time, and realized that I had to open the store in the mall today. "Crap. Im going to be late for work.." I said , quickly standing up.

I got up and smiled. "I'll take you home."

"Okay. Maybe after my shift in a Few hours we can hang again.. " I said, grabbing my jacket.

I nodded. "Okay. " I took her home quickly, then I went back home and had breakfast.

I didnt eat, I just got ready and went to work. We had some hard customers come in and it stressed me out.. when my shift was over, I was so glad to go home and lay on my couch..

I basically cleaned around the house while my parents were at work, bored.

Hey, you can come over if you want. I sent, and I turned the tv on, and sat up.

Alright. I texted back. I threw my coat on, then I drove to her house and knocked on the door.

I got up and I opened the door, a smile tugging on my lips. "Hey." I said, and pulled her into a warm hug.

I smiled and hugged her back tightly. "You smell good." I complimented with an airy chuckle.

"Thank you.." I said, sure my cheeks were red when I pulled away. I closed the door behind her when she walked in. "So, how is your day so far?"

I shrugged. "Boring. How about yours?"

"Annoying." I said, chucking softly. "Water? Coke?" I offered, walking over to the frigde, and opening it, grabbing myself some water.

"Coke please." I answered, sitting down. I yawned and closed my eyes.

I grabbed her one and I walked back, handing it to her. "Tired?" I asked, crossing one leg over the other

I shook my head and opened my eyes, smiling at her. "Not really." I replied. I sipped my coke. "My parents want to open a family business."

"Really? For what?" I asked her. Glancing at her hand in her lap. I smiled to myself remembering last night.. I slept so good..

I smiled. "They want to open a restaurant." I replied, glancing at her sideways.

"Sounds fun." I said, feeling bad that I was being kind of lame.. I slowly reached over and took her hand, smiling slightly when I did son

I blushed and squeezed her hand gently, looking down shyly.

"I have a question.." I asked her softly, rubbing her hand eith my thumb softly.

I looked up. "Okay. What is it?"
