Childhood Friends Turn Into Sweethearts?

October: I nodded and leaned back, watching the Tv once more. I don't want to talk about it much more either.

Ash: I smiled at her, leaning back against the trunk: the first time I smiled at her. "What do you think?" I asked.

Jake
There was yet another stiff silence in the air. I decided to go for a walk, so I did. I just got up, and headed out the door, without a word. I hated the silence. It seemed to scream at me.

Lia
"Its.. Really cool.." I said, looking around. "Thank you for showing me this.. This makes me feel a lot better.." I said, and I looked at him.

October: I sighed as I watched him walk out. "Thanks for sayin bye." I muttered to myself. I locked the door and went back to bed.

Ash: I smiled and sat down, looking out into the distance. "That's good.. I usually come here when I'm upset..."

Jake
I had gone for a walk around the complex, and then back to my apartment.. Seeing I was locked out. What the hell! I searched for the spare key, happy I found it. I unlocked the door, and I stepped in. I locked it behind me and I looked for October, seeing she was asleep. What if a vampire was chasing me and I had to get my stake? But the door was locked? I was lucky, let's just say that. I shook my head and closed the bedroom door. I watched some TV, and sighed.

Lia
"Yeah.." I said. I was scared of heights.. A lot, actually. I solely looked down, seeing how high I really was. My heart started to race.. Stay calm..

October: I woke up and looked at him. "Oh, sorry... I didn't mean to lock the door.." I sighed and shook my head, getting up. "I'm gonna go back to my apartment..."

Ash: I gently grabbed her arm. I can hear her heart racing. "Hey... It's okay... I won't let you fall..."

Jake
"Alright.. Its fine. I'll be here.. Not at lunch though." I said. We were going to lunch with Lia.. Well at least I was. I looked at her, and sighed. The relationship was a little rocky right now.. Of honestly scared the shit out of me.. I couldn't lose her to an argument..

Lia
I felt my heart slow down, and I relaxed. I had a vampire by me that could go faster than light. I would be fine, right? I smiled at him. "Okay.. Thanks.."

October: I sighed and kissed his cheek. "I would go, but I think you should spend some quality time with your sister. I'll see you later." I turned and walked out, going to my apartment.

Ash: I smiled when I felt her relax. "No problem..." I said softly. I say back down and sighed.

Jake
I wanted her to go, I really did.. Maybe another day, I guess.

Lia
I slowly relaxed more and more, until I felt my eyes relax, anD slowly flutter closed.. I leaned against Ash softly, I didn't know I was doing it, I just slowly leaned that way.

October: I went straight to bed and I sighed, staring at the ceiling. I've been very lazy lately.. Mostly sleeping.. What's wrong with me?

Ash: I let her lean against me and I cautiously wrapped an arm around her shoulders. Instinct I guess. It feels so weird holding someone again...

Lia
I slowly opened my eyes, bright sunlight everywhere. I rubbed my eyes, and looked around, it took me a moment to realize where I was. I looked at Ash. His arm was around me I smiled softly and I looked around the morning city. I wondered what time it was.

Jake
I was still awaiting a text from Lia, was she alright?

Ash: I smiled at her. "Good morning." I wrapped my arms around her tightly and jumped out of the tree. I set her down on the ground. "I hope I made you feel a little better."

Lia
I smiled, and I hugged him.. "You did... Thank you.. So much.." I said. I've never been that upset before, but he really helped me. I don't know how I felt better, I just did. Who knew sleeping in a tree could do that for you?

Ash: I shifted awkwardly and cautiously hugged her back."um... You're welcome...." I said softly. I pulled back and looked down at her.

Lia
I chuckled at how awkwardly he hugged back. "I'm going to go back to my apartment.. IM eating lunch with my brother.. I'll see you around?" I said, and I walked away, I got ready, and me and my brother went to lunch, we had a nice time, discussing what we had in common, and our differences. It was like I knew him all my life now. After lunch, I had walked back to my apartment happy with how lunch went.

Jake
When I got back from lunch, I had stopped by the store, I had gotten October some chocolates, I knocked on her door. I wanted to check on her.

Ash: I hunted a few deer and I stayed up in my tree all day, staring down at the city. Why do I keep thinking about Lia? What's do special about her? She's only human..

October: I sluggishly got out of bed and I opened the door, smiling at him. "Hey..."
I said softly.

Jake
I saw that her hair was a little frizzy, and she looked tired. Was she okay? Why was she sleeping so much? I stepped in, sand I hugged her softly, I kissed her cheek gently and I handed her the box of chocolates. "I love you, October..." I said, and I slowly took her hand. "You alright?" I asked

Lia
I looked around, no Ash. I wondered where he was.. I stepped inside, and I sat at the bar, and I grabbed a soda from the mini fridge. Coke was my favorite.

October: I smiled slightly. "Thanks, I love you too." I looked up at him. "I'm fine.... I've just been tired lately..." I said softly. I squeezed his hand reassuringly.

Ash: I sighed as I stared out over the city. I want to be around Lia more for some reason. She makes me feel more human for some reason.. I don't know, maybe I'm just lonely.

Jake
I smiled softly down at her. "Okay.. Is it alright that I hand around for a little?" I asked and I kissed her softly, my hands caressing her waist sweetly.

Lia
Suddenly, something pushed me off the chair.. I fell to the ground, I got my head fairly hard.. I looked around the room.. Nothing.. Then I saw a pale man, who looked my age, walking towards me, his eyes blood red.. I stood, and ran down the hall, but he grabbed me, and shoved me against it. "Silly, silly human... " he kissed against my neck. I tried to push him away, but my weak body would not affect his in any way. I yelled out, for someone.. Anyone.. I felt his fangs break my akin, and blood ran down my neck, he gripped my tightly, and he groaned loudly.. pain.. Pain was all I could feel.. It felt like my veins were on fire... I could feel me starting to fade, my life slowly being taken from me..

(I'm at home home sick :()

October: I smiled and kissed him back gently, wrapping my arms around his neck. I pulled back after a moment and smiled at him, stroking his hair gently.

Ash: I was already in the area when I sensed something. Pain. Discomfort. And a vampire with negative energy. I ran quickly and grabbed the vampire, throwing him off of Lia. We fought for a few minutes, then I ripped a wooden chair apart and stabbed him with the sharp wood. He disappeared. I rushed to Lia side and placed my hand on her neck. "You're going to be okay Lia, I promise." I whispered. I leaned in and began to suck the venom from her wounds. It tastes so bitter.

Jake
I smiled at her, and I sat down on the couch, patting the spot beside me.

Lia
I groaned in pain as he was ripped off me, I didn't know what to do, in felt like I was going to surly die right now.. I looked around, everything a little blurry. I saw someone, Ash? I looked at him with blank, pained eyes.. I couldn't make out what he said, but I felt his lips touch my neck.. Then it felt like the pain was.. Going away?

October: I smiled and sat down beside him, laying my head down on his shoulder.

Ash: Soon, I sucked all of the venom out and I wrapped her neck in a bandage. I carried her to a couch and laid her down, stroking her hair gently. "Stay with me okay? Don't close your eyes."

(I just threw up.. Looks like I'm home too..)

Jake
"Later, or tomorrow, you should let me teach you how to slay a vampire.. So you know what to do next you're attacked or something?" I said. It would make me feel better leaving her alone.

Lia
I felt so tired though.. I looked at him, and sighed. "Thank you.." I managed to say. He had all my respect right now.. How would I ever repay him? I'm only a human.. "But.. I'm.. Really tired.." I said softly.

((Aww :( I'm sorry.. We can be sick buddies then :P))

October: I sighed softly and looked up at him, nodding. "Okay." I whispered, grabbing his hand and squeezing it gently.

Ash: I shook my head and shook her lightly. I made her sit up and I let her lean against me. "No no.. I can't let you sleep until I get some more blood on your system.. What is your blood type?" I asked.

(Yes, haha.)

Jake
"Me and Lia had a nice time.. I'm worried about her though.. That vampire.. I hope he doesn't get to her, there is a new one in town.." I said

Lia
"Fine.. I'll stay awake.." I said, looking up at him. "I'm O Positive.. I guess its sorta rare.. That's why I got attacked I guess..." I said, and I felt my eyes closing, but I quickly opened them.. Had to stay awake..

Ash: I sighed and picked her up."I have to take you to your brother." I said softly. I carried her through the shadows until we reached the alley. I followed his scent and knocked on the apartment door.

October: "yeah..." I heard a knock and I got up, walking over. I opened the door and my eyes widened at the vampire holding Lia. I let him in. "A vampire attacked her and I sucked the venom out but she lost a lot of blood.. I need your help, she's O positive- Hey, stay with me." He gently shook her. I turned to look at Jake.

Lia
I leaned into him, he was very comfortable.. I had to keep my eyes open and when I needed a little help he would shake me a little.. He was going to take care of me.. I looked at my brother, as we steppes in, his face turned pale..

Jake
As soon as I saw the vampire, I was mad.. And he Had Lia.. But when he explained what happened, and I calmed down.. And the caring look he kept giving Lia.. Maybe he wasn't so bad... "I have O Positive... I have a transfusion kit in my closet, lay her down." I said, pointing to the couch.I rushed to my room, and grabbed the kit, I was well prepared when it came to vampires. The kit was for reasons like this, to give people blood. I stuck the needle in my arm, and I winced as the bag slowly filled up with blood. I pulled the needle out, and I put a new one on, and I grabbed the soft tape, I walked out, and I grabbed Lia's arm and I stuck the needle in the vein, I squeezed the bag softly. "Lia, don't fall asleep.." I said to her.

October: The sight of blood made me want to pass out but I just watched. I went to the bathroom and grabbed a first aid kit before walking back in and standing on Lia's other side. The vampire moved out of my way. I gently cleaned the wound on her neck and she winced slightly. I put a bandage over it.

Ash: The whole blood thing was making me a little dizzy with want, but I'm no newborn. I'm a pretty old vampire. I just watched her face, making sure she stayed awake.

Lia
I felt more awake now, I looked at the bag, and it was empty now, he grabbed a bandage, and folded it in a square, and he removed the needle and he put the bandage to it, and taped it down. "Your arm will be a little sore for a day or so.." He said, I nodded and I looked at Ash, how was he controlling himself like that? It honestly amazed me.. Blood was just waved in front of his face, but he did nothing. I smiled at him, and i sat up slowly. When October finished my neck, I smiled at her. "Thank you , guys.. I really epriciate it." I said and I rubbed my eyes. I was not tired anymore, I felt much better.

Jake
I saw how pale October was, and when I was dome with the transfusion, I made sure Lia's arm was okay, and that she was feeling well. Color was returning to her skin, and I looked at Ash. Amazed, he didn't go after the blood. How did he do that?

Ash: Everyone kept looking at me weird, like they were surprised... Probably because I didn't go after the blood like they expected. "Don't act so surprised... I'm pretty old, I can control myself.."

October: There was an awkward silence and I smiled. "Are you hungry?" I asked Lia, looking down at her.

Jake
I looked away, and I told Ash to sit down, he was standing, after all. I grabbed October's hand. "You alright? You looked very pale." I asked her quietly.

Lia
I nodded. "Yeah.. Just a little.. Water is fine." I said. I wasnt really a big eater. Some days I didn't eat at all. People said it wasn't healthy, but I was always fine. I looked at ash as he sat beside me, I smiled at him. I was glad him and Jake weren't attacking each other..

October: I smiled at him slightly. "I'm fine, I'm not the one you should be worrying about."
I pulled my hand away and got her a class of water and a few crackers. I brought it to her. "At least eat some crackers.." I said softly, giving her a small hopeful smile.

Ash: I smiled back slightly when she smiled at me, but looked away quickly. I feel so uncomfortable.. Sitting here in this apartment with a vampire hunter not 10 feet away. I slowly stood up. "I should get going.."

Jake
I sighed and I looked at Lia, she looked stable now. I was thankful that Ash found her. When he said he had to get going, I smiled at him "Hey, thank you.." I said to him. He wasnt so bad.. He was one of the few vampires I trusted...

Lia
I smiled at October. "thank you." I said to her, taking the water and crackers. I ate a couple, and drank some water. My neck was all that was sore right now. I looked at Ash and frowned. "I guess I'll see you around, thanks again." I told him, and I watched as he left.

Ash: I smiled slightly at them before I walked out, wandering around town. Why do I keep putting myself in danger by wanting to see this girl? She's naturally a target because her twin in a vampire hunter. And his girlfriend is a natural target too. Anyone associated with a vampire hunter will be natural targets. I wonder how long I can keep Lia alive.

October: I watched as he left and I glanced at Lia and Jake. I smiled at Lia. "You should probably stay here tonight... It'll be dangerous for you to go back home.." I looked up at Jake. "You should probably teach her too." I whispered.

Jake
Lia already knew how to kill a vampire, she had a stake and everything. She just has never ever killed one yet. And she said she probably never will. "She knows how.. Dad taught her." I said.

Lia
"Okay.. If that's not a problem. And I don't like the thought of killing anyone.. So I've never touched the stake.." I said. "Ash killed the vampire, but that doesn't mean there is more.." I said. I looked at her wrist.. She had been bit too?

October: "Well, better safe than sorry right?" I smiled gently and ran my fingers through my messy hair. "I'm gonna go back to bed..." I mumbled. I turned and walked back to the bedroom, climbing in bed and sighing softly.

Ash: I made my way to the woods and climbed my tree, looking out at the city. It started to turn dark and I looked around, making sure there were no vampire hunters around.

Jake
I smiled and I nodded. I watched as October walked back to true bedroom.. Something was wrong with her, it wasn't like her to be sleeping all the time.. Later I would check in on her. I sat beside Lia, and smiled at her. "How are you? You look a little down.."

Lia
I looked at him and shrugged. "Nothing, I'm just shocked still with all that happened today." I said and I looked at the TV. "Can we watch Big Bang Theory? Its my favorite." I said. I watched as his eyes widened. "Its my favorite, too, so yeah." He said and put it on.

October: I slept for a really long time, but I still couldn't find the energy to get up when I woke up. I felt so exhausted still, even though I slept for hours. Will it always be like this? It's like I'm under a spell or something.

Ash: I walked out into the city and hung around outside Lia's apartment complex, making sure there is no threat.

(two week time skip)

Lia
The past two weeks were boring for me, I felt better, I stayed home a lot, just being lazy really. I haven't seen Ash since I got bit. I hoped that he was alright..

Jake
I was really worrying about October, I never mentioned how much she slept.. But today I would. I was watching a movie, alone in the living room. October was in bed. I stood up and talked into the bedroom, I crawled in beside her, and I kissed her cheek. "Baby.. Something's wrong.."

October: I looked up at him and sighed gently, looking into his eyes. I have to tell him. I leaned forward and kissed his lips for a second. "I have to tell you something.." I sat up and looked out the window. "I've been wanting to tell you, but I was always scared to.. But I have to tell you now..." I turned to look at him. "I'm sick.."

Ash: These past 2 weeks have been intense. Vampire hunters kept finding me and that meant I more humans I have to regretfully kill. At least I get their blood. I decided to visit Lia and I knocked on her door gently.

Lia
I looked at my door. And I wondered who it was. "Its unlocked.. Come in." I said. I smiled when I saw Ash walk in through the door. I stood, and I walked over and hugged him. "Hey.. I haven't seen you for a while." I said and I let go, I walked back to my couch, patting the spot beside me.

Jake
I looked into her eyes, and I bored, concern written clearly in my eyes.. "Sick with what, honey?" I asked. She did look a little thinker, and she wasn't eating as much as I'd like her too.. It scared me..
