A stray mid-day light burst through the drawn shut curtains of Miss Nakano's room, streaming down onto her sleeping face. The disheveled woman had gone home early and ended up passing out, it was quite an eventful morning though. Blinking sleepily, Junko moaned as she sat up on her elbow and reached for her thick rimmed spectacles that were laying on the bedside table underneath miscellaneous papers.
Sliding on her frames she looked over at the television she had left on in the corner of the room, spouting local news. Suddenly her sleepy eyes widened when she had realized she had made plans for this evening! Oh no, I have to get ready... she thought pulling herself out of bed, still wearing her disheveled work clothes. Rubbing her face, she looked at her watch, it was so shameful to be a grown woman and waking up at this hour but Junko could barely keep her eyes open after she ate lunch. Making her way quickly to her bathroom, Junko undressed and turned on the hot water. I haven't been invited out in such a long time. Stepping into the warm stream of water she smiled to herself.
-
((Its still that first day of school, ^w^ She's still invited for curry!))

"Hmmm..." Hugo thought aloud while stroking his chin, "Maybe ve can go shopping for ze cat tomorrow. It could give us something to do together..." he shrugged, trying to contribute something to the conversation. He noticed a pair of mens' shoes tossed haphazardly over by the front door, and chuckled a bit at the sad sight. "Your shoes are in a sorry state, Tamani. Vhen vas ze last time you vent shoe shopping?"
-
T.K. smiled. "Seriously? Cool." she was actually pretty excited about shopping for the cat. She sat down on the couch, thinking about what she needed for Dinah. She pressed a finger to her bottom lip and thought. After making a mental list about what she wanted for Dinah, her thoughts moved elsewhere. Why was this guy so cool? He came out of nowhere but was absolutely cool! Usually teachers don't hang out with students and vice versa. He seemed more like a fatherly kind of guy, or like that cool uncle that she never had. She shrugged the thought away, sure to continue it later. She looked up at Hugo with a frown.
Tamani shrugged, shaking his head. "I haven't shopped in a while for clothes." he glanced at his shoes. "... Or shoes for that matter... Damn cat." he muttered. "Shopping's not my thing so when T.K. goes out with Anaya, she usually comes back with something for me." He sat down on the couch and put and elbow on T.K.'s head, which she swatted away with a deft movement of the wrist. Quickly his arm was behind his back and twisted some, held there with one hand. T.K. glared at him with a smirk and then let him go. "Damn girl." he muttered under his breath, rubbing his wrist.
-
Anaya awoke to Edge's voice. She blinked a few times. "Hm? Oh... We're here... Y-yeah I'm fine..." she murmured. She looked at the board as well, curious as to what he was looking at. She saw T.K.'s name as well, realised that they were really there. "Errr.. Can you put me down?" she asked quietly. She looked up him with her lip bitten.
-
((Woops. Don't worry about it. I'll just have Lily wander the library then. xD))
-
Anaya smiled, nodding. She took his hand, intertwining her fingers with his. She then brushed her hair out of her face, before beginning to go up the stairs. She had been up and down these stairs many times. Just this excersise of going up and down had been counted as physical therapy. She had been able to go up these stairs without sweating after spending a year with T.K. She placed a light hand on the hand rail, her fingertips dancing as she went up the steps. When they got to the top, Anaya touched the door. "Its..." she heard Tamani curse. "Here." she said, giggling.
-
Tamani heard a knock on the door, and it made him laugh. He meandered to the door and swung it open, crossing his arms. "Oh, hey! Anaya, and... Anaya's friend." He put a hand out to Edge. "Tamani Desher, Computer Tech teacher." he said.
T.K. looked up, hearing Anaya's name. She stood up and ran to the door, glomping Anaya. "Yay! You could make it!" she said giggling. She put her hands on the delicate girl's shoulders and then slapped her thighs. "You. Curry. Seasonings." she said, pulling her in past Tamani and Edge.
Anaya looked up at Edge as she was being pulled. Her expression said sorry many times over. She then let go of his hand, following T.K. in. The blond haired girl led her into the kitchen where she pulled out spices and handed them to Anaya. Anaya knew what to do and began pinching out and tossing them into the pots. When the smell was good enough. Anaya turned to T.K. and smiled. "I'm in love..." she said.
[COLOR="#2e8b57"]"No duh! You're walking around with a dopy look on your face." she said giggling. She watched Anaya blush, and sighed. "I won't tell. Okay? I know about the rule." she said quietly. She patted her head and laughed. "I promise."
-
Secretly, Hugo was glad when some guests showed up at the front door, after all, he was a social butterfly. He casually made his way over to the entrance and watched T.K. and Tamani exchange greetings with the new arrivals. In an instant, he recognized where he had seen these two before: the coffee shop. Before he had the chance to introduce himself, T.K. dragged the new girl into the kitchen.
Determined to at least get to know the red-haired boy, he offered his hand to shake and said, "Hello...correct me if I am wrong, but I believe ve have seen each other before. I am Hugo Albrecht, orchestra teacher at Alota Days High.".

Lillian didn't quite know what to do anymore so she just sat at her desk picked up a book called Make the impossible, possible and started reading it. After reading it for a little while her body got a bit stiff so she moved her seat to the in front of the window. The seat was built into the window, it had brown seat cushions on it and burgundy pillows set against the wall that lead to the window, which had parts of stained glass throughout it. The sun coming in in dull streaks that highlighted Lillian's hair and the dust that was on the library's floor. She put her feet on the otherside of the chair put her head against one wall and faced the window with her book in front of her face, smiling she began to read.
-
Anaya ran a hand through her hair, brushing her bangs back and sighing. "What am I going to do?" she whispered. She heard T.K. laugh quietly.
"Just be yourself." she said. "It will be just fine, Anaya. I promise." She pushed her back into the living room, moving her to the couch, plopping her down there. She sat down right next to her and wrapped her arms around her, hugging her. "So what's up with The Student Body Stuff? Can I be Treasurer?"
"No!" Anaya said laughing. "I mean, we still haven't done an election!" she said, putting an elbow on T.K.'s head, purposely u[setting her.
"Hey!" she chuckled swatting her arm away.
-
Flynn came into the library, pushing the door to enter quietly. He glanced to his favorite sitting spot next to the window and frowned. Apparently someone else had found out about it. He pulled his book to his chest and walked up curiously. "Excuse me?" he asked, waving a hand to catch her attention. No one really sat there unless someone else had told them about it.
-
Upon hearing a voice Lillian closed her book gently and got up from her seat, "Well, hello there." Standing she let her arm with the book fall to her side, once her arm fell as did a piece of hair out the bun she had put in while reading. The piece of hair landed to the side of her right eye, her glasses keeping it from going right into it. She smiled brightly at the boy, "I'm the librarian, is there anything I can do for you?"
-
Flynn blinked a few times, kinda surprised. Finally getting it, he nodded. "Oh! So they finally hired a librarian." he said, chuckling. "I was wondering why you were sitting there, because normally no one would..." he muttered. He brushed his blond hair out of his eyes and chucking. "I used to be in charge of the library during 3rd period." he said.
-
"Oh, you have a class vith me, Edge?" Hugo sounded surprised to meet one of his students outside the classroom. "Interesting..." he mumbled to himself, stroking his chin again in a thoughtful manner. Hugo wondered what this student's experience level was, what instruments he liked, if he was actually going to show up for class...a million things occupied his brain. Then something else interesting popped into his head. "I have to ask, is zat your natural hair color? I am not usually a fan of bright colors, but I must admit..." he gestured to Edge's hair, "...I like it.".
-
"Ah, Hugo! Let the boy in, you're letting the hot air in." he chuckled. He sighed and pulled his hand off of the door and walked back inside to the living room, plopping down in his chair.
-
"Yes." Lillian smiled and giggled a little, "Finally." She looked at him then to the library desk, "Thank you for taking care of it while no librarian was present." She gave him a grateful smile and started walking towards the desk, "Did anything important happen whilst you were in charge?"
-
"Under my charge?" he shook his head. "The most exciting thing that's happened here under my charge was finding a student sleeping in the fiction section." he chuckled softly. He then thought of something. "Hey, you should talk to Anaya. She's taking the night shift tonight, but I can't get ahold of her anytime soon, so she may or may not come in..." he glanced at a bookshelf. "She's the one who basically ran the place over the summer."
-
She nodded and laughed a little,"Wow, what person can fall asleep in a library? It's one of the best settings in any place." Lillian looked to the kid, "All right, thank you, I'll try to get in touch with her." Looking over to the window seat she smiled, "You can have your seat now if you'd like, I think I may just going looking for Anaya." Laughing quietly she looked back at the boy ""You seemed a little distraught when I was sitting there."
-
Flynn, whom was very glad to have his spot back, smiled widely. He nearly jumped with joy, he was so happy to have his spot back. "Thanks. But, er..." he rubbed the back of his neck, biting his lip some. "Anaya's at a party. You know Tamani or T.K. in the apartment complex across the street? She's there." he muttered. He pulled his book to his chest and then smiled meekly again.
-
"GAH!" Flynn jumped and spun on his heel, facing Tobias. "Oh! Hey, Mr.Raven." he said laughing. He wasn't usually so easily startled, but Tobias had snuck up on him. He sighed, and calmed down some, chuckling.
-
Anaya glanced at the door, hearing Edge's voice. She smiled at the young man and then turned to T.K., beginning a talk with her about their new classes. She heard the blond go on about her choice for art class and computer technology. When Anaya got a chance she spoke about her choir and creative writing club she was attending after school. She heard T.K. chuckle. "What?
"You could totally be a teacher, Ana." T.K. said, her eyes bright, as if she were imagining Anaya with glasses and her hair pulled into a tight bun.
-
"Hmmm..." Hugo mumbled to himself, "You play ze piano...I vould have never guessed! I assumed by your looks zat you vould play ze electric guitar or something like zat. I guess I shouldn't jump to conclusions so easily.". He gave a nervous chuckle, trying to redeem himself. Hugo then stepped closer to Edge to whisper something in his ear: "So...zat girl you came in here vith...is she your girlfriend?".
-
"Ah, Okay, thank you...er.uhm..." Lillian looked at the boy and put her hair strand behind her ear, "Sorry I don't quite know your name." Seeing another person walk into the library Lillian put on a little smile and welcomed him, nodding slightly as he spoke to the two of them. "Good Evening. How do you do?"
-
Flynn looked back at the librarian. "Oh. Name's Flynn." he said, smiling some. He put a hand out, ready t shake her's. "Am I just going to call you Ms.Librarian or...?"
-
Lillian chuckled lightly, "My name's Lillian Fish, Ms. Fish if you would please." She looked to the door, "Well, I think I'm going to go to that little party that is happening and just speak with Anaya for a moment. I will be back, In the meantime, Flynn, could you take care of the library?" She nodded slightly at the man who walked in, in respect to him then took her leave.
-To the apartment for a moment-
-
There was a light knocking at the apartment door.
"May I come in?"
-
Flynn smiled and nodded. Mm-kay." he said. "Here, I'll get it for you." He walked to the counter and clicked a button. "Your ID please?" he asked.
((EDITED)
-
Hugo nodded to himself, taking what Edge was saying. Whispering again, he replied, "You should ask her out, Edge...you two vould make a cute couple, if I say so myself. Vhat's preventing you from asking her? If it's nerves, I can offer some advice...". He patted Edge on the shoulder reassuringly, noticing he was blushing a bit. A quiet knocking was heard at the door, and Hugo tried to get T.K.'s attention. "Um, T.K....zere is someone at ze door...are you expecting more people?".
-
T.k. got up, muttering quietly. "Yeah. We are." She walked to the door, and threw it open. It was an unknown lady. She sighed and turned to Tamani. "Hey! Tam! Come over here. Its someone I know not of." she yelled. She turned to the lady and smiled widely. "Hi." she said in an overly sweet voice. "Who are you?"
Tamani got up, growling. He walked to the door, pulling at the bottom of his shirt. He leaned against the door and stared at the lady. "Hey, you looking for someone?" he asked.
-
Lillian looked at the girl who answered the door, "Hello there, I'm I'm the new librarian, Lillian Fish." Looking to the man who seemed disgruntled she responded, "Yes, I'm looking for Anaya and was wondering if I could speak with her for a moment."
-
"HEY! ANAYA. A librarian needs to talk to ya!" she screamed. She smiled at the librarian. "She's coming."
Anaya came to the door, smacking T.K. in the back of the head. "You need not to scream." she muttered at her. She then turned to the woman at the door. "Hello, ma'am. I'm Anaya, how can I help you?" she said, putting a hand out for her to shake.
Tamani growled quietly and went back to his seat.
-
Lillian cringed as the girl screamed and backed up a little when Anaya had joined the conversation, "Hello Anaya, I just need to ask quite quickly if you would still like to take charge of the library tonight? It's not a necessity anymore if you don't want to do it." She smiled at the girl, she realized, also that she had said alot in that one question, her face twitching a little into an apologetic face hoping she hadn't overwhelmed the girl.
-
Anaya nodded. "Yes ma'am. I have to finish some of the reference inventory, and I left my notes back at my dorm. There was a bit of trouble with some kids trying to check out the encyclopedias..." she laughed quietly. "But that's it, really." she said smiling.
-
With a swift flick of his wrist, he took the card and then handed it back after scanning it. He looked at the computer and then checked in the book. He looked back up at Tobias with a smile. "Oh, you're Mr.Raven! I have you in 4th period." he said somewhat cheerfully. While math wasn't his best subject, it was one of his favorites.
-
"Ah Okay then." Lillian backed up into the hallway, "Well, I will see you later when you come to finish your things up." Waving goodbye to Anaya and the other students she headed back to the library.
-to the library-
-
Anaya smiled some and nodded. "Goodbye ma'am." she said before gently shutting the door. She turned and went to where Edge was, just kinda hanging around. She looked up at him with a silly grin and then looked at the guy who was talking to him. The man was shirtless, taller then her, and somewhat intimidating. She bit her lip to keep from laughing. "Edge, who is this?" she asked just kinda breaking into the conversation.
-
Hugo again whispered in Edge's ear while the librarian made her way in and conversed with the others. "Vell Edge...I vould suggest zat you do not rush things. Girls like to take it slow." He eyed Lillian a bit, finding her to be a rather attractive woman. "Maybe give her a small indication zat you are interested in her, like touching her hand or giving her little gifts." he continued, casually watching the librarian out of the corner of his eye until she left.
Hugo's concentration was suddenly broken by Edge's crush, inquiring who he was. He wondered why she was biting her lip, but offered his hand to shake nonetheless. "I vould be Hugo Albrecht, orchestra teacher at Alota Days."
-
Anaya took the hand and shook it. She pulled her hand back and put it on her hip. "Hello Mr. Albrecht, I'm Anaya Jones-student body president." she said smiling. She bit down on her lip harder to keep it in and then turned. "Excuse me... I think the curry's d-" a giggle escaped her lips. "Done." she went to the kitchen and opened the pot lid, laughing quietly as she clattered about.
The sweet spicy smell invaded her nose. "Ohh." she whimpered, the smell making her stomach growl at her. "Hey, everyone! The curry's ready."
-
"Yes, I do... But I am not the best at it." Flynn laughed, shaking his head. He turned and put the book into the return slot. He came back, glancing at the children's section. This library was not only open to the students of this high school, but after school hours, the library was open to the public. A young woman and her child sat in the children's section, reading a picture book. He smiled slightly before some back, pushing her glasses up the bridge of his nose. "There anything else I can help you with?" he asked.
