Eli waited as the man retrieved a bunch of things to help his wound. He came back with quite a few things, and Eli decided it would be best to take off his coat. He unzipped his coat, revealing his bloody shirt that still had a hole in it, and then quickly took off the shirt too. He held both his shirt and his coat, making sure to not get blood everywhere. Watching as Dass knelt by him, he leaned back in his chair. "Eli." He cringed a bit, feeling more pain in his wound. "..Wish we could have met under better circumstances, though." Eli glanced around the room, still feeling a bit unsure about the situation he was in.
-
The room was clean, it had a kitchen, a couch and a table with some chairs. There were four doors, the exit, the door to the bathroom, the bedroom's door and a door that led to Dass's little studio. The only open door was the bathroom's. "Yes." He examined Eli's wound. "Ok, it's not that bad, they sewed you but the wound has opened. I'm going to sew you again. Wait here." He went back to the bathroom, took a sterilized needle and thread and returned to the living room. I don't trust doctors, you know? Most of them are idiots. Don't move, ok?" He took a little knife out of one of his pockets and cut a bandage, he put water on it, cleaned Eli's wound and sewed it. Then he offered Eli a glass of water and a painkiller. "Take it and rest. Hmm, you can use the bed, it's there." He pointed to a door at his left. Dass took the bandages and the other things and put them in the cupboard, then he threw the needle to the bin.
-
Eli braced himself for the needle, a bit surprised that he seemed to have a decent amount of knowledge about cleaning up and properly sealing a wound. Not many people nowadays did. "Tch, doctors are usually no good.. Half the time I can do whatever they do on my own, and be better at it too.." He did as Dass said and kept as still as possible, biting his lip a little when he sewed him back up. Then, he gave Eli some drugs and told him to rest. Eli looked the man up and down, glanced around the room again, and, due to him not thinking very clearly, accepted the drugs and the water. He swallowed the pills and gulped down the water quickly, actually feeling the slightest bit better already. He grabbed his shirt and cost, taking it with him to the room Dass pointed out. Before going in, he had to ask. "Why do all this for a complete stranger?"
-
Dass thought about it for a moment. Why was he doing this?. The answer was easy. "You needed help and I have the means to help you. Why not doing it?" It was due to his kind temperament, he couldn't leave behind a person in need. "Now go and rest, you need it." He pointed at his studio's door. "I'll be there, if you need something just ask me."

Instantly, Manilla knelt to the ground as and act of respect for the man that was projected before her. "What must we do, Izoh?" Though the phrase seemed urgent, the tone spoken by Manilla was cold and unemotional. However, she could sense that he was of a greater power than Angelo, and so obeyed him with ease.

Surprised at seeing the pink haired woman from the night of the explosion, Alina wondered if her voice would be recognized without the amplification effect from her helmet's speaker system.
The helmet was as sophisticated as the rest of her combat suit, allowing for both voice distortion and natural clarity, and of course Alina had opted for the latter when speaking to the Godhunter not long before the explosion.
That night, the thought of switching to voice distortion did not seem necessary when she called for the civilians in the street to remain indoors. Now it seemed like a stupid oversight. What if there were people from the Brotherhood of Magic who had heard her? What if this pink haired woman was one of them?
Easy there, Alina, rein in that paranoia a bit, she thought to herself as she smiled uncomfortably and said, "I'm here to look for a new arm. The one I have now is a few years old and completely fine, but I want something for when I'm not working."
Of course, the arm was for personal day to day use anyway, but beyond the hand and wrist, its mechanical nature was completely undisguised so that the hidden blade within the forearm would always remain unobstructed. Easy to cover with long-sleeved clothing, considering the high quality of the synthetic skin on her hand, but still something Alina was very self concious about.
She rolled back the sleeve of her white jacket a bit to show her mechanical arm. What little that could be seen revealed a smooth black casing above the line of the wrist. Sleek, lightweight... and able to deflect bullets or lasers.

Felix stuck up his pointer finger to Candy in an effort to have her hush herself while he was on the phone. It was a rather long drawn out conversation, unfortunately giving away a lot of details that he did not want leaked. When the conversation was over, he hung up the phone and approached the slender female before him. "My my, you're already being naughty again. Aren't you? Coming early, you know I'm a punctual man and schedule my meetings accordingly." Of course his tone was less menacing and more seductive while he circled around her, his eyes exploring the familiar canvas of her body. "Well, Ms. Love. What would a beautiful, stunning woman like yourself be here for, I wonder. I mean, what would my wife think? There's also the matter of your interrupting a very important conversation. How do you think we'll make sure you don't utter a word of it?" He was grinning and speaking dramatically, but it all fed into his ego. He traced his fingers along the nape of her neck and let her long hair cascade over his finger tips.

Marcus' giggle fit had finally ended. To prevent more random felines from coming in, he closed Adorra's window. He turned to see a saucer of milk now in front of the cat. "Oh right, summoning magic." He chuckled again, approaching her mini-bar. As soon as the cap came off the bottle the sweet tangy scent of the German whiskey hit him. "Damn, that's the good stuff." He said out loud, impressed by her Uncle's excellent tastes in alcohol. As per usual, he swirled his glass of booze, admiring the texture and viscosity of the fine whiskey. He took a seat next to her on an adjacent chair and reclined himself. His back was still stiff and sore from the week's worth of work on the farm. For a while, the two made more small talk and like he did back at the bar, he admired her petite frame. She was absolutely gorgeous and he could tell by the flush on her cheeks that, despite the small amount of alcohol she had, it was starting to hit her. During some downtime in the conversation however, Marcus looked down at the cat. It wasn't drinking any of the milk, just staring vacantly at the two. "Well, go on kitty. It's not going to hurt you. Dora might have tried to kill you, but I'm sure the milk won't." He laughed and winked playfully at Adorra.

The murky waved crashed along the shores of White Run and amongst the mist and fog stood Castle Aurora. Foxtrot Alpha kicked open the doors of the run down castle and took their positions in secrecy. The snipers and assassins of the group were using cloaking devices, while the foot soldiers surrounded the exterior. In a silent helicopter hovering above the castle, an elite sniper aimed his thermal sites on the ground below, waiting for the first sign of enemy movement. "Take your position boys, the orders were clear. Let them get the pages, and then take them out." Tau Plamen said, walking through the large iron gates and into the darkness of the castle. He struck a match against a dry solid stone and lit his cigar, "These magic sonsofbitches ain't gonna know what hit 'em."
-
Stealthed in a cloaking devices, Tau and two other members of Foxtrot Alpha followed the small group to the hole that led into the library. "Chapman, McTavish, get down there and keep an eye on our 'lil friends. Radio us in when you know what direction their headed." Captain Plamen spoke lowly, his thick South African accent complementing his already deep voice. "Right!" The two spoke in unison, sliding down the tunnel and landing atop the library, slinking into the corners of the room. "The books are down here sir." One of them spoke lowly into his headset. The foot soldiers began moving in closer to the building, cutting off all the exits they possibly could. The recon team moved in closer, two more sliding down the tunnel and taking the other two corners of the room. "No one else move until they have the books secured and are leaving the castle." Tau's voice rumbled on the headsets.

Jacen groaned to no one in particular.
Bored...no jobs to do, nothing I want to buy, all the equipment is clean and accounted for...what now...I could do anything I want and I can't find anything to do. This is bullshit.
He tapped a panel on his desk bringing up the screen for his computer, showing the programs in leisure that had been used. He scrolled down to the bottom for "VOIP Management"
Been a while since I used this thing...might as well see if I can get a cheap laugh out of it.
Despite the boring name, VOIP Management was Jacen's trolling service. He would open it up and it would call a random number, mobile or landline and add a filter to his voice. He had set this particular filter to random all, meaning that it changed the voice every call, regardless of number. He had to be incredibly bored to do this...he developed this version during his time at Sorcerers for random times with the group and hadn't used it since.
"Manager, dial a number. Any."He commanded.
He heard nothing. "No answer, sir. Would you like to try another number?" The computer's voice spoke.
"Yes. Dial another number."
This time he heard ringing and smirked to himself.
Time for a bit of fun.
-
Eli stared at Dass for a moment, trying to understand him a bit better. Hell, Eli would probably do the same thing, so it wasn't too hard. Eli smiled lightly, and nodded at the man before going into the room and laying down. It wasn't too long before he fell into a deep sleep.
-
Candy remained silent the entire conversation, trying not to pick up some details, but of course couldn't help it. When he was through, an almost sly smile spread across her face. "Oh, Mr. Tormod, you know how I simply can't stay away from you for too long.. I promise to be a good girl and not speak a word of it. Unless, of course, you're going to offer something for my silence, hmm?" she asked in a very teasing tone. She crossed her legs, placing her hands atop her knees as he walked around her, enjoying the feel of his hand against her skin.
-
Dass got out of his studio after some hours, it was dark outside and his stomach was growling for some food. He ate something while thinking about Eli and his wound. "It looked like he was shot." He sat down on the couch. "I forgot to ask him, now that I think about it, if he was shot probably he's not going to tell me how it happened. . . What if he's a thieve or a criminal?. . . Stop thinking that kind of things!" He waved his head to keep apart that thought. "He looked like a good person, maybe he was in the wrong place at the wrong time."
-
He smirked, continuing to drag his finger down the nape of her neck and planting it in between her cleavage. "Well, of course I owe you nothing for your silence. As a proper woman you should respect my decisions. No, I believe you need to be punished." Felix was enjoying watching her sweat, and the flush on her cheeks run through the rest of her body. She was enjoying the little bit of role-playing as much as he was. It was expected, seeing as how he was her favorite client for years. And she was his favorite 'escort' for the same amount of time. She knew exactly what he liked and wanted, and gave it to him without hesitation. He pulled her closer to him, and swung her onto his desk, kissing her softly from her ear lobe down. Slowly, he plucked the strap of her dress and pulled it along her...RING RING. "The bloody hell? I wasn't expecting a phone call." Felix pulled away, his face burning red. Of all the things to happen it had to be a phone call, no doubt on his 'relaxation' time. Not to mention, on his personal cell phone which only a handful of people knew. He gritted his teeth looking down at the 'UNKNOWN NUMBER' displayed on his expensive phone. Pressing the 'talk' button, he answered, "Who is this? If this isn't important, I swear I will have you arrested. I'm very busy!" To him, this wasn't an overreaction. His time was very valuable and a tight schedule was always to be maintained.
-
Eli rolled over, stretching himself out a bit before opening his eyes. He glanced around, a bit confused about where he was for a moment before he remembered what happened. Then, he heard a strange rumbling sound coming from his stomach. Ah, he was hungry. He slowly sat up, rubbing his eyes a bit with one hand, while holding his wound with the other. He had to admit, it did feel a lot better than it did after the doctors took care of it. He stood up, walked over to the door and peered out to see Dass eating something. It must be around dinner time. The darkness outside confirmed that it was at least about that time. "Uh, sorry to.. Bother you, I think I'll be going now, though. I don't want to burden you any further." He felt a bit drowsy, but he figured he could get home on his own now, at least before it got too dark.
-
Argo came down the tunnel screaming. He landed with a loud flop on the ground. A cloud of dust kicked up on impact. It covered him and made him cough. "-Ack, fuck.." "Are you alright?" "Does it look like i'm alright?!" Argo retorted as he got up.
A silence fell on him when he noticed how large the room was. "Jesus, this place.." His head was on a swivel, and his jaw was dropped. "..This is MUCH bigger than what I imagined..." Argo was caught in his own little world. Enzo didn't expect a man like him to be so interesting in magic.
"Let's just get what we came for." Enzo said, sounding bothered with his tone. They split up and started searching for anything that had to do with resurrection. Enzo could recognize the books published with Sorcerers by it's majestic 'S' seal.
-
Volitaire followed up to Enzo and Argo, hearing the foolish man fall and shriek over his own paranoia. He sighed and waved the dust away from his person. Faye still in hand he noticed that she fell a bit silent after explaining her story in Gaze. He felt it may be necessary if she recuperated a little after telling him something so important. He came up to Enzo and noticed he found the old Archives owned by Sorcerers. He felt a spark of nostalgia seeing that familiar "S". "Quick to find what we need, I see. Better than sticking around here. Things are beginning to haunt me." He said with some discomfort.
-
Candy's smile grew wider, seeing as he was insisting on punishment. Before she could respond, he was already going at it. She didn't mind in the slightest bit, seeing as this sort of behavior wasn't abnormal for him while she was around. Just as she wrapped her arms around him to pull him closer, his phone rang. She pouted a bit. Who would be calling at such an awful time? She watched him as he answered the phone, sitting on his desk and politely waiting. Business came first, playtime comes after. That's what she always told herself, as well as a few of her clients, though she always thought a bit of playtime before work was done never hurt anyone. She looked down to her nails, seeing that one was chipped lightly. She pouted more, and leaned back on that hand, trying to hide it from herself. She'd have to get that fixed later.
-
As Faye continued to go along by Voli's side, her widening smile only grew at the sight of the inside of the castle. It really was something, that was for sure. It looked so old, so huge, so....strange. At the same time, she was able to feel the magic pulse from somewhere deep inside of the castle. It made her shiver slightly at feeling it, and licked her lips when they soon came to what appeared to be a hole in the wall. Frowning, she stared at it, as her crystal orbs darted to Voli and back as the unknown man went screaming down. She winced at that, but soon was following after.
When she came sliding out of it, her sound was a more of a cry of excitement as she dropped down to her feet, quickly going into a roll as she stood crouched on the ground. Eyes wide, she felt her chest heave a bit as she was slightly breathless from the drop. "Wow....that was....WOW!" She soon jumped up with a slight excited sound while she grinned.
Faye's gaze went over to Voli and the others, when they went looking at through all of the books. As her eyes scanned all of the books, she let out a soft whistle as she tilted her head to the side. That's when she felt a slight frown coming over her lips. "Wait.....these books....they aren't normal, are they?" The tone in her voice sounded a bit hesitant when she said it.
-
"Which reminds me," He looked down an aisle toward Argo. "Is there a certain type of book we're looking for?" "Look for something to do with the after-life."
Enzo shrugged, picked a series of shelves, and began searching. By now, he heard Faye's concerned voice echo throughout the room. "They hold hundreds of years of history for magic." He explained. "The last time we were here, we were sent to stop the Endine." And there, Enzo enjoyed the only good memory he could harvest from this place. He remembered how the village people looked up to them as heroes as they cleared out the castle. Their final battle took place in that very room.
"Oh, god!" Argo shouted out in terror. Enzo responded quickly and darted over to where he was. Laying beside Argo was a skeleton bound by chains around it's neck. It appeared to have fallen from the ceiling. "Fucking thing scared me."
-
Volitaire looked up to the hanging skeleton. A sinister chuckle slipped through his lips remembering how he mercilessly gained his revenge. But that satisfaction was short lived when he realized what room this was. He sighed and his eyes fell to the floor. He let go of Faye's hand and trailed off into the other side of the room. A buried pain surfaced again when he witnessed some of the fallen skeletons. Alone, on the other side of the room he sat down next to a skeleton laying on its back with hand over the rib cage. His fist clenched on the old wooden floor and his face balled up under his black fringe. For something that he finally managed to move on from, it quickly crept up on him and tortured him greatly. "Great..."
-
Hearing what Enzo said, about how it was a library full of magical books and such, it made her look over at him. Even more so, her eyes widen at the thought that so many books here, could tell her so much and more about her magic. Or hell, even tell her a bit of her family if there was anything about them in the first place. Opening her mouth, she was about to ask him if there was any books on Spirit magic. But then noticed something; Voli was gone.
Blinking, Faye looked around all over, her blue gaze trying to see where he went. Frowning, she was soon walking off as she tried to go and find him. As she walked by one bookshelf near the back. She smiled when she caught sight of him, but she had to stop when she noticed the skeletons that were around him. At the same time, the way he sat, almost looked like there was something was wrong with him.
Tilting her head, she slowly made her way up behind Voli. Leaning over him, she would suddenly move her face in front of his, staring at him with a solemn look in her eyes, as she had a slight smile on her face. "Hey....something up?"
-
"Eh..?"He said looking up to Faye. "Nothing. Just some old grievances is all. I never really got over it I guess. It's nothing too important. I just gotta sit it out." His brother's death was one of the hardest things he's ever dealt with. They both were orphans together and had to share everything. Einso was practically what he could call a family but the evil found in this castle managed to take what little he had left away from him. After Gaze, his longing for a proper family began to torment him. He felt a lone a lot, even abandoned. There were many with his case, losing family in this violent world. He felt he shouldn't cry about it as others knows what he feels as well. He most of all didn't want Faye to see him so weak. He cracked a half smile attempting to reassure her that he was going to be alright. "Don't worry about it."
-
Faye continued to stare at Voli for the longest time. Not really cracking a bigger smile, as she watched and listened to him while she leaned close to him. Soon enough, she was moving to kneel in front of him, as she watched him for the longest time. That's when she saw the smile, and couldn't help give a slight smile at that. "Well.....it looks like you learned how to smile a bit more, so that's good." She would look over at the skeletons for a bit, then reach up to scratch the side of her head while looking away. "You know, if you ever need to talk to someone about anything, I'm all ears if you want."
Faye would smile a bit once more at him, as she reaches out to take his hand, and hold it in both of hers. She squeezed his hand, almost as if she was giving a form of hug to him while she looked at Voli. "Trust me, I may not know much, but I also had my own pa- OHMYGODISTHATWHATITHINKITIS?!?!" The shriek that Faye let out would almost be ear shattering, as she suddenly dived towards Voli.
Her body collided with Voli's, as her arms went around his neck. What she was doing, was reaching for a book that she saw the words Spirit on it, as well something she thought said magic. All in all, Faye more or less made the male do a face plant right to her chest as she grappled for the book with a excited air about her as she was grinning.
-
Showtime.
"Uhh yes, hi I'd like to place an order for delivery. Can I get 2 medium pizzas, one cheese and one mushroom, a 10 piece order of hot wings, and a 2 liter cola? Oh and if you have any redheaded chicks, I'll take 2."
Jacen decided to go for the classic pizza shop prank...juvenile, but got the job done...albeit in a surfer's voice.
-
Suddenly Volitaire was smothered in two buoyant objects of Faye's. His face turned tomato red and his eyes widened in shock. He was whipped into a complete silence. He layed there for a bit, trying to develop a proper reaction to what happened. Once his mind finally snapped back to the situation he quickly jumped back and his under his neck length hair. Only the bottom half of his face was visible. He noticed that Faye picked up a book on Spirits during her boobish ambush which helped him take his mind off of his... Predicament. He moved over a little to take a look for himself out of curiosity. "You found something, Faye...?" He muttered with slight hesitation.
-
The loud shriek Faye made reached the ears of another individual. His eyelids lifted and he rose from his short sleep positioned in a room connected to the library. "Someone's here..!" He took a peek into the library, and spotted them right away. That's the men who were on that file.. Juro's first idea was to confront them. They may know something about the kidnapping of his mother.
He stood up straight, drawing his twin swords sheathed behind his back and walked up into the open. "Nobody make a move!" He shouted.
-
Of course, when Faye made her sudden movement to grab the book, she had no idea that she had done something so indecent to Voli. All that mattered to her, was to see if the book she was grabbing, was actually a book on spirit magic like she saw. Finally grabbing it, she let out a sound of success. Sitting back on her haunches, she grinned while holding the dusty volume in both hands, almost holding it to her chest. "FINALLY! The answers I've been looking for!!!" She said excitedly, almost giggling as she started to swipe at the cover, to get all of the dust off while she answered Voli. "I think so~! And I seriously hope it's something I've been looking for a long time too. Maybe for once I finally found the means and knowledge to tap into my family's po-......"
When Faye suddenly trailed off, it was mostly due to what she saw on the inside of the book. Her face froze, in a wide smile like expression, eyes wide, as her crystal gaze took in finally what was inside. It looked to be a magical tome already.....
The problem was that it was all in Latin or some other language. Face slowly lowering, her hood falling down over her head, she trembled slightly. With a swift movement, she was standing up as she waved the book up in the air. "CURSE YOU KARMA!!! Why do you always have to do this to me!!!" Instead of looking down or sad, Faye actually had a angry like expression on her face, when she found out the book was in a text she couldn't even read.
With the sudden voice of another unknown person, Faye froze up. She looked over her shoulder while blinking, and her gaze automatically went to the twin blades. She stiffened. The sight of the guy all in black, with black like swords, caused the female to stare at him with a unreadable expression. Suddenly, the books all on the shelf behind Faye went flying, as they were thrown all over at the new person. The look on Faye's face, was almost that of cold rage. Her body trembled under her baggy clothes, clutching the book tightly in her left hand, as she glared at the guy. Almost baring her teeth, as she hissed out in a low voice. "WHO...the....hell....are....you..." The sight of this man all in black, with black swords.....it brought the memories of the people who killed her family.
-
Volitaire was happy she found what she was looking for. He was about to open his mouth and congratulate her but an attacker ran into the room, blades drawn. His psyche switched over to the defensive, quickly jumping in front of Faye and and preparing his spells. The black rings of text spun around hs hands with his deep black aura rising from his body. His red eyes began to glow, giving him a more sinister look. He had no idea who this person was but it was to Volitaire's notice that he was only a boy. Even still he didn't size him down, even at his age he was quite skilled. He placed careful footing in front of Faye to make sure he could keep any danger he could away from her. "Faye, stay behind me. And you, what do you want?"
-
Juro quickly slashed both of his blades at the oncoming books. One by one they split in half and landed behind him. He continued this until the barrage was over, and then returned to his neutral stance. "My name is irrelevant. I'll be asking the questions here."
Enzo had been searching like a canine for these special books. It was highly likely that an article on the Soulless was stowed away somewhere. Suddenly, he heard a shout from an unfamiliar voice. His eyes shot over to the middle of the room, there stood Volitaire and Faye in a defensive stance against a boy armed with two swords.
"Who...?"
"You are Volitaire Lucath, Correct?"
-
His eyes narrowed. His opponent must have been a bit more dangerous than he first imagined. For him to know his whole name was a bit unsettling. "Why do you ask?" He answered sternly.
