Einso walked down a hallways looking for an office of some sort. He eyed every door students have walked out of. Looking for labels, signs, anyone who looked of authority inside. He walked up towards one door that labled "Headmasters Quarters". Through the small window he could see a stern man talking to Enzo. Einso wondered if he got in trouble. He had a look of upset on his face. Einso turned the knob and opened the door. "Sir, if you would excuse me there's something dire I would like to speak to you about." Einso felt a little guilty barging into the school and even on his lecture with Enzo, but he swallowed his guilt and came in.
Volitaire stood at the wall watching students go by, patiently waiting for his brother to be done with business. He turned to his left and saw a red haired girl with a cat tail and wondered if she was a shape shifter. Things like these weren't normal to Volitaire, he's only met one person to shape shift and that was Red. He continued to look down and think to himself what his brother planned to do.
-
Enzo quickly turned around to see Einso, Volitaire's brother. What's he doing here? He wondered. "Likewise, Einso. I'm guessing you're here because of that surge of energy?" It had seemed like for everyone skilled enough in magic, were all on the same page.
-
Einso nodded. "Wonder how you got my name. But that doesn't matter. I was coming to propose we conduct a party to check this surge. I went to the source of it and it was a odd castle. It looked abandoned, but the surge says otherwise. I was hoping to help in the efforts of solving the unusual event."
-
That's some odd timing... Enzo thought. "I agree. Enzo and his team will go." Boone went over and got some paperwork ready at his desk. "I take it you'll be going too?"
-
Einso nodded."Me and Volitaire." Einso sat down next to Enzo and stared at the papers. "Don't tell me I have to sign all that..." Einso looked bored.
-
Booned smiled. "No no, this is for me to do. You two can go find others to take with you. If they say anything about school, tell them that their classes are dismissed until the mission is over with." With that, Enzo turned and left the room. He saw Volitaire standing outside of it. "You too...?" He wondered as to why both of them were here. Perhaps the village Nor?
-
Einso made a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness, I'll get right to this Headmaster. I'll bring them all in for an explanation." Einso got up and bowed, leaving out the room afterwards.
"Yes, Enzo. Me too." Volitaire kept looking down. Still stuck in thought. "Joining me and Einso's little team to raid the castle?" Volitaire stands up strait. "Got any 'friends' you my want to take on this mission?"
-
Ling shuffled after hearing Maria telling him class was over and a poke to the cheek. "Ah, took long enough." He hopped out of his chair and landed lightly on his feet, giving a good stretch to wake up his muscles. "So Maria, mind if I take a look at your notes being that I feel asleep and all."
-
"I've got a few people in mind." Enzo said, clenching his fist in excitement. "Oi," A familiar voice was heard. Enzo turned to see Kenji standing infront of another familiar person. Red.
"I heard you were building up a team..." Red grins evilly.
-
Volitaire nodded. "We are, Red. I'm sure your aware of the odd surge in the not so far distance. Welcome aboard if you wanna get to what's going on up there. My brother is finding more people." Volitaire kept his focused look and paced around a bit. "Enzo, anyone else?"
-
Shaking off the shock that he had just gotten, Enzo nodded towards Volitaire. "I know someone who could help us out!" He said before darting off downstairs, back towards the classrooms.
When he reached the physical classroom, he realized the students had all gone. He slowed his pace and peeked into the classroom to see Ling and Maria there. "L-Ling!" He called out as he ran inside the classroom, the teacher no where in sight. "Please team up with me!" He asked bluntly.
-
Volitarie remembered him watching the fight with Red from afar. He seemed suspicious to him, but he kept his tongue and appreciated Enzo's contribution.
-
Maria blinked then sighs softly. " sure I half expected that, here " She said softly handing him her slightly decorated note book. She pointed to the second and third page which were almost full of neatly written notes. " Okay the purple ones are the most important, Blue second most important, green third most important and then black is just general knowledge ... Also the questions at the bottom are to be finished by next lesson and the answers are on the forth page. " She explained about to head out as she saw someone rush past her, catching her completely off guard. She blinked for a few seconds and then began to feel more alone and ignored as the two started talking. " Just give me back my note book when you're done with it okay.. ? " She said softly and walked out of the classroom sadly.
-
Enzo watched as Maria left the room. Guilt struck him as he realized he butt into whatever conversation they were having. "Wait!"
He called out. He had the need to apologize for it. Something like that couldn't stand with him. "You can join too!" He offered her, in order to make up for his sloppy actions. "The headmaster said anyone who joins my team is excused from all school business."
-
Maya took her time walking. She could sense the suddenly heightened emotions around, and walked slowly in an attempt to figure out what was going on. She listened, and Enzo's loud and uneasy statements caught her attention. What was he forming up a team for? She walked even slower toward the point of tension, which seemed to be the headmaster's office, which was on the third floor. Her next class was on the first floor, but she was immensely curious, so she continued.
-
She turned and contemplated his request. " But I'm only a new student, I'm not really that powerful and I should probably be getting on with my studies ... if you think it's worth putting me into your team then tell me. Other whys I doesn't really bother me... " She said in a slightly happy but nervous tone, Turning and giving another cute smiles before running off. Making her way into the lobby then into the cafe, looking around at the delicious looking food as her stomach grumbled in protest of no breakfast. " ... Can I buy that one please? " She asked pulling out her wallet and paying for a small slice of cheese cake. She sat down and began to enjoy it's smooth and sweet taste. ' Being in a team ... What do these teams do? why would he even suggest me ... Who even is he?! ' She thought as she ate making her feel more confused about the situation.
-
"Thanks." Ling took the notebook and tucked it into the gym bag. He then heard the door open and saw a flame headed kid walk in. "Enzo my boy. I've been wondering where you were." Before Ling could get Enzo's attention, Enzo had gotten Ling's. "A team? Aiyaa, are you trying to get me into something troublesome." Enzo also faced Maria tried to recruit her, but she refused and dashed off. "I wonder where she's off to. She even took my handkerchief. Anyways Enzo..." Ling started to double noogie Enzo's forehead. Trying to get some more info out of him. "So what is this about a team Enzo? Sounds mighty important if you went through the trouble of finding me."
-
Familiar feelings returned to Enzo when he saw her leave. He's suddenly under attack by Lings noogie. "T..There's alot of weird stuff happening.. in Nor." He managed to say while he was gritting his teeth. He barely had the strength to stop Ling. "You're a strong guy, right?... We'll be safer with you around!" He said.
-
Everything she sensed around was confusing. She went back to where Enzo was, and found herself wanting to be apart of whatever team he was making for fear of being excluded. "Enzo." She leaned into the classroom. "...Ling, I presume." She took a deep breath. "I could help and be in this team thing, if you need more people. Whatever it is, I am probably experienced and if I am not, I can practice."
-
Maria sighed as she finished her cake and looked at the few small crumbs that remained. " Not everything lasts I guess ... Huh Rika? " She said softly smiling at her little fox spirit and went to get up.
" Maria ... you've been working hard... take a small break okay?" Rika said softly trotting behind her.
"It's not your job to worry about it, besides didn't I tell you to only talk in the dorms. if you talk and people find out..." She said softly, taking her bag and talking out of the cafe.
-
Red and Kenji made their way back to the classroom, standing beside Maya. "We've got a box of earpieces for us." Kenji said, looking towards the box Red was carrying. "We're only a team just this once." Red said, looking away in frustration.
Enzo blinked. "Of course, we'll gladly have you on our team!" He shouted out. He shifted around his rings, one on reach hand, and went for the earpieces. They looked standard, and quite old. "Uhh, do these work?" Enzo asked, with a worried smile on his face as he looked into the box. "They are fine, welp."
Kenji hopped onto Enzo's backpack. "We'll need a name if we're going to go through with this." Kenji explained, crossing his arms.
"I like team hope." Enzo put in. Red scoffed.
-
"Why not team valor? It does sound slightly better than team hope." She crossed her arms and leaned back, examining the ancient earpieces from afar. She felt her backpack shift and immediately took it off and kneeled down on the floor and carefully pulled the egg (which was wrapped in a warm blanket) out and held it like one would hold a baby, at the risk of looking odd to the others.
-
I don't even want to know what that hatches into... Enzo shruddered at the thought. "Team valor sounds more serious then team hope." Kenji said, nodding in approval.
"I won't be in a team if it's named Hope. That's cheesy, welp." Red laughed a little, at Enzo's retarded rainbow and sprinkles mindset.
Enzo looked down, not wanting to protest. He just wanted a team. "A few more and we can go." He said lowly. He stuck his hands in the box, taking one of the earpieces. It was damaged and looked nonoperational. No way the headmaster would give us broken equipment. He thought as he put it on his ear. The earpiece shined, changing to a red, flame shaped earpiece. It looked expensive, and new.

Silver had been running around today, avoiding some conflict that she may or may not have caused between her and another student earlier in the week. She would gladly take him on, if it wasn't for the fact that if she got caught, she'd probably get kicked out of the school. As she was walking along, she stumbled upon a group gathered around, talking about teaming up for something. Silver paused a bit away, eavesdropping in on their conversation, curious about what was happening. A team? I wanna join! It sounds like fun to me.
-
Maya walked forward and picked out the most damaged looking one. She hesitantly held it and commented, "Quite the disguise." She slipped it into her ear and it formed into a sleek black piece that curled around her ear [ http://media.animevice.com/uploads/0/3695/215659-phantom_lord_symbol.jpg ]. "I will be very unhappy if it shaped into anything less than badass." She smiled at Kenji and Enzo before tilting her head back down to look at her egg.
-
Kenji noticed the new girl spying on them. Judging by how interested she seemed in them, He spoke up. "Oi, you're not going to progress anything standing over there." After admiring his new earpiece, he looked over to what Kenji was fussing over. "Another person? Another recruit." Enzo said as he smiled creepily. At this rate, i'll be a leader of a small country in no time..! He marveled in his mind.
-
Silver looked at Kenji with an interested look on her face, and walked over to the group. She looked at everyone, sure to get a good look at their faces. She looked back to Kenji, then to Enzo. "What exactly are you recruiting for? Do we get to fight people? Because if so, I definitely want in!" She smiled big, hoping maybe she could let people think the's as innocent as she looks.
-
Kenji nodded to Enzo, signalling him to explain the current situation. "Well, according to the headmaster, there are some massive magical surges there, which is unlikely. So he wants us, to make a emergency team to check it out for him." Enzo laughed and scratched his hair a bit, as if he were nervous. "I don't know about any fighting..." He added.
-
Volitaire seemed annoyed by Reds cocky attitude. "A name isn't necessary, Enzo. Though it has its uses. I guess we could be called first party. Considering we'd be the first to enter if anyone decides to follow along." Volitaire turns towards Maya. He gave his best but most forced smile he could give. "Any help is welcome. Even if you aren't that experienced. This is all a learning experience anyhow. But I wouldn't entirely treat it as such." Volitaire turned to Red. "Don't get cocky. Some of this feels far too familiar for comfort, and if my hunch is correct we all could die during this trip. You included. Don't get so headstrong because you're talented. If we face a certain someone, we're all doomed." Volitaire looked stern and his tone turned to a mono-toned but with a bit of frustration. He leaned back and started to bite his nails, looking worried but puzzled. "Enzo, your curse would be greatly appreciated..." Volitarie said in a hushed voice.
-
Enzo wasn't shocked by Volitaire asking for his curse to come out. His curse, although uncontrollable, was powerful. He simply nodded towards his long term friend.
Meanwhile, at Castle Aurora...
Villagers of Nor have been projecting group magic spells. Each of their magic spells were weak, but they combined it all, no matter what it was. Kuro looked down on the villagers from a window in the castle. "Ehh, they're starting to make a racket." He sneered. He clenched his fist, cold mist forming around it. "I'll take care of the noise." He said to the other 3 suspicious people.
Men, woman, and children were focusing their magic power to catch of the attention of any skilled magician who would feel the pressure. Though they were interrupted when Kuro stood infront of the mob of people. "You know, we don't like it when people waste their magic on bullshit tactics. Shishishi..." Kuro's eerie snicker made the villagers tremble in fear. Kuro collected the cold essence in the area, absorbing it into his fist. Then he punched the ground, Ice spikes coming up from the ground under the villagers. Some of them were impaled on the spikes, losing blood quickly. Others ran back in their houses for safety. Kuro laughed. "Shihshishi, I should keep your dead right in the middle of Nor, just like this. As a monument and a reminder of what'll happen when you piss me off!"
