Cautious Love

We got most of our stuff there in the next few days, and I couldn't do any lifting sadly, but her dad helped with a lot.
Then it came down to our first night there, getting the bedroom all set up

I had a lot of pictures framed and I hung them up and we got most things unpacked. "This is just.. Amazing." I said, wrapping my arms around him.

"Now we need some horses." I said, looking outside, smiling, then pulling her close to Me and I kissed her lips softly. "I love you.."

I smiled and kissed him back softly. "I love you too." I whispered. This is almost too good to he true. We have a place to start over and have a family and really get our lives going.

"There's one problem.." I said. "There's only one car in that driveway." I said, raising an eyebrow. "After everything gets rolling, and I'm better, how about we get you a car? Just not a Prius .."

I smiled. "I want a family car.. Like a Suburu. Not too big, not too small, and really safe for the roads." I suggested.

I thought for a moment. "Subaru's are.. Eh .. Its the Cadi's that are where its at. Or the GMC'S"..

I rolled my eyes and chuckled. "You're the one that knows about cars, not me." I kissed his cheek and laid down on the comfortable bed.

"I'll do some research." I said, smiling. I laid down beside her, already in pj's. "This is amazing.." I said, the bed was spectacular..

I smiled and looked over at him. "I can't believe our luck." I propped my head on my elbow and I leaned down and kissed him. "You're so amazing."

I looked at her and smiled. "You're amazing too.. Look at you, cancer survivor.." I said, pecking her nose.

I grinned. "I couldn't have done it without you there beside me." I replied sweetly.

"You're getting so mushy." I said after a moment, smiling at her. "I love you. You're my little warrior.." I said

I giggled. "You love it. And I love you too." I leaned up and kissed him softly.

I nodded at what she said and pecked her lips softly after the last thing. "Let's get some rest." I said, the only position t sleep in right now was just on my back. Comfortable right?...

I nodded. "Okay." We went to the huge master bedroom and we laid down. I wish we were spending our first night here a different way but that's kind of impossible..

I pulled her close to me and kisses her neck softly. "In about a week hon , I'll be ready.." I said.

"How do you know?" I asked gently closing my eyes.

"I don't.. But. I think I will be." I said, kissing her nose, and closed my eyes. I knew she was a little dissapointed, I could tell.

I smiled. "Whatever you say." I closed my eyes and yawned, slowly drifting off.

Two weeks passed, and we got all settled in and we were painting one of the guest bedrooms that needed some work. We got two colors, a light blue and a plumb color. "Okay, so what's the plan with these?" I asked her, looking up

”Im thinking that the ceiling should be the plumb and the walls blue.." I said thoughtfully.

"Good idea." I said, and I opened the tubs with a screwdriver and we got all the paint ready. I'll do this wall " I said, grabbing the paint roller and rolling some paint on it, then I started to paint the wall.

"Ill get this one." I called my parents and they came to help us paint and we had fun doing it.

It was a blast. "Hey, you have some paint on your back." I told her, and I took the roller and rolled it from her shoulders down to her butt, quickly setting it down and running

I gasped and quickly grabbed a paintbrush, runnin after him. I caught up and splattered paint on his back. "Asshole!"

I felt the cold paint through my shirt. "Brat!" I said, laughing, and I managed to get the brush from her wrestling and I splashed some on her forehead

I stuck my tongue out at him. "You butt." I mumbled.

I chuckled, and kissed her softly. "I know." I said, hitting her butt before walk in back to the room and finishing the little corner

I threw those clothes away and hopped in the shower which felt amazing!

Luckily I hated this shirt anyway, So I tossed it as well, and since my chest was healed only enough to take showers without the bandages, I stepped in with her as well.

I jumped and looked back at him. "You scared me.." I said with a chuckle.

"That was my goal." I said and I kissed her neck softly "Love you. " I said, and I began to wash my hair and body.

"Love you too." I replied and i did the same. I got out and dried off and got dressed.

"How about lunch?" I asked her after I was dressed and such. "We can get to know the little town."

I smiled and nodded. "Okay." I replied.

"You okay?" I asked her. Every night she seemed kind of quiet.. We headed out to the car and I started it, and glanced at her

I smiled. "Yes. Im fine. Why?" I asked.

"Nothing." I said softly, and the at went by pretty easily then it was evening. Movie night! In the best room ever. I lounged on the couch as the movie started, and I kissed her neck softly. "Im so lucky.."

I smiled and kissed his lips. "Me too." I whispered.
