The Knight.

I looked into his eyes and nodded slowly. "Yes." I whispered.

"And what that man did to you, is something I would never, ever, ever even think of doing." I said, and I pulledbher to sit in my lap.

I looked down at him. "I know.." I said shakily, looking away.

I kissed her cheek gently and I tilted her chin so she could look at me. "I love you." I said.

I looked into his eyes and smiled weakly. "I love you too." I whispered.

(What if she freaks out on him, like he hugs her, and she just gets scared?)

((He should do something else.. Hugging wouldn't scare her..like maybe they should be getting intimidate or something and he pins her or something and she freaks out because of her memories.))

I pulled her into my lap and I kissed her gently, sweetly. I loved her so much, and the fact that this happened to her hurt me also

I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back tenderly. I love him so much..

"Come on." I said softly, and I stood, taking her hand and gently pulling her alongside me to the bedroom. It was getting late.

I nodded and followed him, squeezing his hand gently. Once we were in there, I turned off the light.

I got dressed in my normal clothes, well, pants. I got my pyjama pants and I was shirtless. When I walked out of the bathtoom, I smiled, and I pulled her to me and I kissed her passionately.

I smiled and rested my hands on his shoulders, kissing him back deeply. Every time I kiss him I get butterflies in my stomach.

I hoped that she trusted me. I knew it would be a while before her and I did anything like before, but I could be patient. I gently pinned her to the wall, her wrists pinned at her sides.

I frowned slightly and then I had a sudden flashback. The other man pinning my arms to my sides while the man raped me.. I turned my head from the kiss and I struggled against him harshly. "Stop!"

I quickly stopped, and backed away, holding my hands up.. shit.. "Babe.. sorry. I.." I studdered..

I put my face in my hands and I turned away. "I'm sorry Charnley.. I'm just not ready." She whispered shakily.

"I.. wasnt going to do that I was just .. playing.." I said, and I shook my head slowly. "Ill.. go sleep on the couch.. sorry.." I said , quickly walking out the doorway

I took a few minutes to recover, then I slowly went to the living room. I looked down at him. "I'm so sorry." I whispered.

"Its fine. Ill just give you a little space. I didnt mean to scare you.." I said gently.

"I know.." I said, feeling ashamed. I sat next to him and took his hand. "Let's go to bed, okay?"

I sighed, and I got up and followed her. I felt bad for scaring her.. when we laid down I just faced, her not touching her or anything.

I sighed softly. "I keep forgetting who is the real enemy.." I whispered to myself. I scooted close to him and gently rested my forehead against his, my hand grabbing his. I felt horrible.

I stayed quiet and hesitantly put my arm around her and I closed my eyes.

I snuggled close to him and closed my eyes. "I love you." I whispered.

"Iloveyoutooo..." I mumbled before dozing off, and drifting off into a deep sleep.

After a few weeks, I slowly recovered. It was summer now, and I was at the store, buying stuff for my dorm. I can't believe I'm going to Julliard in 2 and a half months!

I was so happy that she got accepted. And I was also happy that she was recovering. I havent made any advances towards her at all recently, still scared that I would scare her again. But her going to Juilliard meant I would go to the police academy. Since I had the recommendation from the.one cop at her trial, I could get in easily.

I felt a little neglected from Charnley, but I understand why. He's scared that's he's going to scare me again. But still.. When I got home, I put the stuff I bought into a box and sat on the couch, tired.

"What did you get?" I asked, walking into the living room and looking into the box. "Stuff for Juilliard?" I asked.

I nodded and smiled up at him. "Yeah. I'm so excited!"

"And I'm excited for you." I said, and I walked over to her and kissed her gently. "I'm so proud of you." I said, she's made a lot of progress, recovering from what had happened and all

I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Thanks babe." I replied, leaning up to kiss him softly.

I snaked my arms around her waist and I smiled. "Let's go for a drive." I said. "The sunset is supposed to be beautiful tonight." I said,

I grinned. "Let's go to the hill! That's where we used to go watch the sunset remember?" I kissed his cheek and then went and got a blanket. I drove is to this hill and I played music from my car. We climbed up the hill and we sat on the blanket right as the sunset began. Pink and yellow lights lit the horizon. So beautiful.

I loved that area. We went in her car, and once there I sat beside her and I wrapped my arm around her side. "So beautiful.." I said, and I loved how secluded and away this spot was from anyone else. It was just us for at least a free miles.

I snuggled close to him and sighed contently. I let my hand rest on his knee as I watched the sunset. "I agree." I answered, looking up at him.

"Like you." I said cheesily, chuckling after I said it. I kissed her softly, my hand resting on her cheek as I did so.
