I just nodded, remaining silent. Shes right.. I finished my cigarette then went inside.
Did I say something wrong? I followed after her, sighing softly as I stood in the kitchen. Iwas terribly bored..
I turned to look at her. "Im getting more furniture today. Wanna come?"
"Do you think you should be going out?"I asked, turning to face her. I didn't want her to get sick in the middle of the store or something..
I sighed. "Im not going to mope around all day without a tv.."
I chuckled softly and nodded,"Okay, I can agree with you there."
We went and I ordered a couch to be delivered and I got 3 flatscreen TVs. One for the living room, my room, and the room where Amy is staying.
"So, are you going to get cable installed this week, too?"I asked as we walked down the sidewalk.
I nodded and went to my car. We got in and i said,"Are you okay?"
"Of coarse, why wouldn't I be?"I asked, smiling at her as I buckled up.
I smiled. "Just making sure. Are you hungry?"
"Sure! Whatcha want to go get?"I asked with a smile, watching her. She looked okay and was doing alright. I was just glad I could be here for her.
I started the car and smiled at her. "Does Rosas sound okay?" I asked.
"Sure, whatever that is,"I said with a chuckle, nodding slowly.
"Its a Mexican food place. They have killer bean and cheese burritos." I said and i drove us over there.
"Great,"I said with a smile, running my fingers through my hair,"It sounds delicious!"
I drove us over there and I got a burrito. As we were sitting there, a man passed by and he smelled strongly of alchohol and i ran to the bathroom to puke.
I waited for her outside the door and sighed softly, knocking,"I'll pay and we can go.."
I slumped against the stall and took a deep breath. "Im okay."
"Alright,"I said softly as I walked to the register, paying for our food and then waiting for her outside the door.
I got up and washed up before walking out. "Sorry about that.."
"No, it's okay. Let's get home,"I said softly, offering her my hand, the other holding a bag of our leftovers.
I took her hand and we went out to the car. "Will you drive?" I asked warily.
"Of coarse,"I said as I took her keys,"Just let me know if I need to pull over,"I added as I climbed in and started the engine.
She ended up having to pull over several times and once we were finally home, I went to my room and laid down, feeling like shit.
I got a warm rag and found a bucket, sitting on the edge of her bed and holding the rag to her forehead.
I closed my eyes. "You shouldn't have to waste your time by staying cooped up in here, taking care of me." I mumbled. I feel so bad..
"Yes I should,"I said with a smile, dabbing her forehead gently. She looked miserable.
I shook my head and looked up into her eyes. "You must hate all of this.."
"No, I don't,"I said, smiling softly at her, shaking my head. I wasn't happy to see her in pain, but I liked being here for her... It felt right.
