Miguel pet Darkfang and led the way to the teacher's dorms. When they got there he knocked the door ligthly and opened it so Darkfang could enter. "See you tomorrow." He grinned and closed the door behind Darkfang. Then he left and walked around the school until morning.
-
Darkfang collapsed onto his bed beside asia and fell instantly asleep
-
Jenny saw Soleil and a smile enlightened her face. "Sorry." She said to Herald before running into Soleil's arms.
Ethan flew off of her shoulder and landed on Herald's.
-
"Oh it's fine." He slightly cocked his head towards Ethan and squinted as he said, "So what makes you able to talk to me? Or am I just crazy?"
-
Ethan used his peak to clean and relocate his feathers. "You're not crazy, but I'm not sure why I'm able to talk to you, you're just a human." He didn't have any clue about which were Herald's powers and that they were related to nature, that was the reason why he could talk to the druid.
-
"Well not exactly." He picked one of the seeds from the nurse's office out of his pocket, and made it sprout in his hand. He turned it back into a seed as he said "I'm a Druid."
-
"Then, that's it. I'm a nature spirit, so I can only talk to other creatures of nature, like me." He said camly. "Being a Druid makes you a child of nature."
-
He chuckled, "Actually, I spent most of my teen years trying to be that." He put his hands in his front pockets. "It's nice to know I finally am one. So, what are you to her? You have to be more than a pet."
-
Ethan looked at Herald. "Me? I'm everything she needs me to be. I'm her protector, her companion, her pet..." Then he looked at Jenny. "Every witch has a protective spirit, it can be a cat, an owl, a human... it depends." Ethan moved his wings a little. "She thinks I'm only a crow."
-
"He's a witch is she? Huh." Realizing she doesn't know Ethan can talk, herald asked, "So in other words, I shouldn't talk to you in front of her?"
-
"You better not. She'll probably think you're crazy." He chuckled.
-
He lightly scratched his neck, "Oh it's alright, most of the students already do." He chuckled as well.
-
Soleil smiled and hugged Jen back giving her a kiss on the head "I missed you"
-
She flushed a bit and smiled. "Me too." She leaned her head against his chest. "I was going to ask Laira were can I sleep, but I think it's too late now. . . I'll sleep in the nurses office and ask her tomorrow."
-
Soleil grinned, having an idea but mentally shook it off and decided to wait a bit. "I'm sure the girl's dorm isn't too far from the boy's. Come, let's take a stroll there"
-
She looked down. "But the girls dorm disappeared in the explosion, I can't sleep there."
-
Soleil thought for a moment, he had forgotten about it "Well then, I guess you'll have to room in with me"
-
Jenny's eyes widened and her face became red. "B-but... but... but... You.... I.... t-t-the same room?"
-
Emil walked through the halls of the school, his face mostly hidden behind his thick, straight hair. He had been transferred here only a couple of days ago and he was terribly nervous. His heart was pounding and the constant noise of thoughts from the students around him didn't help.
The teenager took a deep breath and walked on. Was there a library here..? He had heard about a library. If that was anything like the "normal" schools, he could find a nice, quiet secluded space to just sit down and read until class began. That was what he planned, anyway.
-
"Um, sorry to be there bearer of bad news" Herald interjected, "But I think there's a reason why there's a boys doorm and a girls doom." Feeling merciful he looked at Soleil and said, "I'm sure you know where the teachers doorms are, you can take her to the place she's going to sleep." As he was walking away, feeling he wasn't being obvious enough, he yelled, "Oh, and I won't be coming back to check on you two! I trust you'll take her to the place she'd like to sleep!" He cocked his head towards Ethan and said, "It's been nice meeting you, but I'm busy turning a blind eye. You should probably head back to her."
-
Ethan nodded. "Same here. Goodbye, Druid." And he flew to a window near to Soleil and Jenny.
-
Soleil nodded "of course, but the girl's room has been completely destroyed. Where else would the girls sleep?"
-
Ah, a teacher! Perfect, just what he needed. Emil made it towards the brown-haired man further away. Huh...Could have sworn he had heard "Druid". Well, it does appear that this school is different after all.
"Excuse me..." He mumbled, not looking directly at Herald, instead observing his sandals. "I'm...New here and I was...Was wondering, where the..." He paused for a moment, making a low "Uh", then continued after finding the words. "...Library is located..?"
-
"I...I...don't know... I... was in the library...but... they have... t-to be... somewhere." Her face still red.
-
He yelled back, "Then take her to where she wants to sleep. Im sure no one will notice a student in the wrong doorm!" He turned the corner and a student of which he didn't know the name of asked where the library was, so he responded with "I'm actually still a little new on locations myself, but I can help you find a teacher. But it's a little late, shouldn't you be heading to your doorm?"
-
Soleil shrugged, something was setting Herald off. But who or what? He needed to find out but now was not the time. He turned to Jen “so, where do you want to sleep dear?”
***
Luna came out, the girl’s dorm completely destroyed now left her to sleep outside, she didn’t mind since he was a nighttime lover. She noticed a new student and nodded towards him in respect
-
"Oh...Oh yes, of course." Emil nodded. At least they didn't point out how stupid he was being. Well, as always, he was quick to obey authority, so he went for the exit, hoping to locate the boy's dorm. He noticed someone nodding at him and he just...Awkwardly raised a hand in response.
-
"I... I..." She blushed even more if that was possible. "I want to sleep with him, but I can't just say it." She thought.
-
Soleil smiled and held Jen's hand. "Would you like to sleep out with me? Under the moon and stars?"
-
She thought for a moment, sleeping out together was better than sleeping in the same room. "O-ok..."
